the real Shiki is in Akihas body I think and he happens to have Roa incarnated in him, the other shiki was really adopted. Dont know if this is correct got this info from the game. Satsuki apparently gets turned into a vamp and Shiki is forced to kill her in order to save her.

*sigh* well it's still hard to say with this blendid story line and slightly different events, the original Tsukihime game had 5 routes that you can take that lead to different things and multiple endings.

But I think that Satsuki is a vampire, who knows what kind but I think Roa was the culprit at the amusement park and not Sacchin (Satsuki) but she may already be a vampire but she was prolly bitten by Roa himself.We all know it aint Ciel (murfurdur!) and it couldnt have been Akiha because the Tohno's are half Demons and they dont drink blood, I wonder if the ep 7 preview was talking about Crimson Akiha when he said "binding Red hair"? And there were two Shiki's, the original was a vessel for Roa.

I thought it was great in ep 7 when they were talking about going to the Onsen and Arc told her "i guess that rules you out", If Ciel got naked, it would reveal some things like her Church markings and the 7th scripture on her arm. *SIGH* my poor Sacchin will die ANYWAY!!!! there is just no hapiness in it for her.....so sad for me. nyu....OH WELL, Ciel is still great even without the curry!!

I wonder how they plan to explain Kohaku's story? in the original story she is sexually molested by Makihisa for energy and to keep him from dying or going berserk. But being that its a TV show,....who knows!

I know that alot of people were mad at the director for changing so many things. Purists complained that Ciel wasnt eating curry in the series, being that her nickname is Ms. Curry then she should be eating curry. I didnt think it was that important, they also thought that they should have had teacher Ciel and Kitty ARC doing the next ep previews, now that would have been cute! Also alot of people think it sucks that Shiki has this *woe is me* crap goin' on too, in Tsukihime, the original writer Kinoko Nasu made Shiki a slightly more cheerful and optomistic character.

My dream is that after they finish with Shingetsutan, that they try and make another 12 ep series tapping into either the story of Melty Blood or Tsukihime's sequel Kagetsu Tohya (They cant make both because each of those stories run parallel with eachother and both take place exactly a year later in summer, so they cannot co-exist). I guess it all depends on the popularity of the first series, which makes me mad at the purists for not giving it a chance!!! But I can understand it none the less........becuase curry is very important

Just saw ep 7, it was very nice change of pace, from the darker eps before this one, it was pretty funny to see how Shiki life is now controled by everyone else but him... and you can see a faster pace in the plot, now that Yumizuka is going to try tell shiki her true feellings, and the thing that ciel told Akiha at the end of the ep.


BTW, i would love to put Akiha, Ciel and Arc in a deathmatch ring

Well, I was prepared to anticipate some difference...being directed from the same person who did a very different version of GunParade March. So while every other Japanese otaku was yapping about how Ciel wasn't eating curry, I was wondering how they are going to fit all five storyline into one...especially how the main is going towards the "frontal moon" episodes than the "back moon" stories of Akiha, Hisui, and Kohaku. Besides - Kohaku-san's ending is the key that answers everything ^^;

But seeing episode 8, I think they did a very good job in changing the story somewhat - but not too drastic as to alter the overall story.

For instance, you have the scene where Akiha is sucking Kohaku's blood from her breast, Akiha's hair turning red, while Shiki is worried about Akiha being the vampire. Kinda close to Akiha's route, except the real Tohno Shiki (Roa) appears toward the end, with the unusual combination of Ciel and Akiha appearing at the same time for Shiki (Nanaya's) aid...

By watching Ep. 9 trailer, it seems that episode will finally be the one that will answer Shiki (Nanaya's) past...I guess it all works out.

I thought this was a good episode. It was nice to see all the major characters there and their reaction to one another. Boy oh boy does Shiki's sister have some skeleton's in her closet. May not have been very fast paced or action packed like some eps, but I think that this episode set up some nice forshadowing for future events to take place. Can't wait to see more wwooooo!

Considering the fact that the Shiki that we are familiar with is not really Akiha's brother but is from the Nanaya family, why did the Tohno family adopt him? Considering the Tohno were responsible for massacring all the Nanaya except for Shiki, what was the point of sparing his life and actually adopting him into the family? Is Shiki supposed to be a trump card against the Tohno familiy curse? If anyone knows, I would appreciate an explanation. Thanks.

Wow, that was a good episode. We got more backstory and had some action in the same episode. We don't really find out what Akiha is. We knew she wasn't human in the last episode. But I don't think she's a vampire or she wouldn't age would she? Or is the family curse then gradually become more vampiric as they get older so that's why they die young? :shrug:

Looks like Shiki's "accident" was ROA cutting him up in the past? Since he talked about the truth behind his scar and then it began to bleed again. Ciel's trident/pitchforky weapon is cool, but why would she leave it behind anyway?

Some answers given, but many more questions arise. Loving the series though.

esp 8 is the best esp. up to now in ST. Finally they are starting to answer some of the more serious questions. This better be good i held off the desire of playing my copy of this game just for the sake of not spoiling the anime version ^_^ .

Shiki was blocking Roa with his switchblade, you could hear the clang of metal on metal. Plus Shiki also jumped back and dodged.

I thought the only ability he had was to cut, but it looks like he's got some fighting skillz.

I am just wondering how come Shiki past wound/scar is bleeding again in this eqisode??? Is it because the real Tohno Shiki(Roa) wounded him, or is there some sort of curse/magical seal behind his wound?
