I live in Malaysia, They don't sell Anime OST in the place where i am staying.
It's not that i do not want to support by buying CDs, How am i suppose to buy the CDs if the they do not import in the Anime OST CDs.

The Sacred Moon opening song of Tsukihime sounds realli nice. But i want to listen to it's full version.

Episode 8 was good! Tsukihime is my favorite series at this moment (Kiminozo close second).

That blood sucking scene was like a slap in the face, nice and caring Akiha doing something like that... really unexpected, I love this series!
So that guy in the end was Roa, plot really moved forward in this episode. Maybe that girl was a victim of Akiha after all (since she needs blood) or then it was Roa.
Just a guess, but next episodes will not be easy for Akiha. Poor girl.

Have I missed something, or why don´t I understand who the hell that other guy with a knife is? Episode 8 was damn nice, as I´d expect from Tsukihime, moved the plot forward too, I think, but I found some parts of it rather confusing ... maybe I should watch the earlier ones again this weekend or something.

Yes I finally saw episode 8 and it definitely pushed the story forward.

Man freaky stuff.

Now I got like a billion questions... well actually probably only 7...I don't want to add spoiler tags so I'm just going to beat around the bush a little.

Akiha...hmmm well it was somewhat expected yet I was quite surprised at what some others do in the house. finally the thing that bothers me a lot is what happened at the end.....

The preview wasn't really of help of what might happen, but the title is interesting.

I think the person with most questions at this time is Shiki himself lol. Everyone (Ciel, Akiha, etc) has kept secrets from him, and he's starting to discover them now.

Nen, i think the problem, that the human campfire distracted him a few from watching were did that spear came from, that and his wound in the chest that bring up some memories of his past... plus i think not even akiha saw where the spear came from.

hmmm...maybe it's the old wound getting reopened from the near death experience they always say Shiki is still suffering the side effects of or something? Could be the kid that got stabbed all along was Shiki or something and that other kid was...that other kid...and akiha=not human blah blah what am i talking about...i dunno...

What really happened in that incident years ago is not really clear except for people who have played the game.

I wonder which Shiki got stabbed back then... Tohno or Nanaya...

I thought it should be Tohno. If not, how could he have died and returned as Roa? Nanaya Shiki could just have fainted from all that action after his powers are awakened.

Who/what is Tohno Akiha? - The Tohno family has demon blood in pass through their generations. Some members of the family can handle it (like Akiha), some people can't and die in a very unusual way (like some members of the family who mysteriously died as written in the family tree).

Then who is Tohno Shiki? - The "real" Tohno Shiki is the one who couldn't handle the Tohno family blood, and killed Nanaya Shiki (the child with the knife stabbed into his chest) as a child. The "real" Tohno Shiki was then put into banishment within the compunds of the Tohno household by his (and Akiha's) father, Tohno Makihisa. Nanaya Shiki, the child that was killed, miraculously revived. Tohno Makihisa, in need of a "replacement" for an heir (since the real Tohno Shiki had turned into a demon), then raised and brought up Nanaya Shiki as "Tohno Shiki." So, the main character of this series, "Tohno Shiki" is in fact, "Nanaya Shiki."

Then how did Nanaya survive? - With the help of Akiha. Akiha, saddened by the death of Nanaya, used her power to incorporate Nanaya's soul into her body, before his soul left for the eternal world. Nanaya was able to survive the death because of Akiha, and miraculously revive. HOWEVER, Akiha now has a very difficult responsibility - she is holding two souls (her own, and Nanaya's) in her one body. That is a strain for a human, and she is only capable of doing so because of her bloodline. In order to rejuvinate her power which she needs dearly to keep two souls in one body, she needs outside energy source. And the best energy source is human blood.

So is Akiha a vampire? - Technically, no. In the PLUS-DISC, Akiha and Arc get into an argument whether she is a vampire or not. Since a vampire has only two categories - a "shinso" (pure) and a "shito" (disciple), Akiha does not fall into neither category. Furthermore, like Arc said, "a vampire doesn't need human blood, but once they taste it, they get hooked on it like heroin and cocaine." Akiha needs human blood as an alternative source of energy for the need of keeping two souls in one body. Her actions are "vampire-like," but she is not a vampire.

What's up with Akiha's hair? - With the emergence of the real Tohno Shiki (and Roa inside him) and her feelings for Nanaya, are faltering her powers. Easily said, her power from her part-demon bloodline is becoming unstable. The point of the story becomes, when her power becomes awakened, will she able to contain it, or will she turn into a demon like her real brother?

Hey, knowing what will/should happen would make speculating rather pointless, wouldn´t it? Even if you are wrong in the end, trying to deduce future developement from what you have seen is fun

Yes, Nanaya's family too have special powers. Unlike the Tohno family which relied on demon blood, Nanaya's family line relied on strengthing human abilities beyond the realm of regular humans. Technically speaking, Nanaya's family is a family of extraordinary human strength, stemming from constant training from childhood to relying genetics from marrying with other strong families.

The secret of Nanaya's family is that they were assasins. Assasins to kill off people and families of "un-human origin." Much like the Church that Ciel comes from, Nanaya's family is like the Japanese version of that Church - to protect humanity from un-human threats. In a sense, Tohno family and Nanaya family were rivals. And, one day, the Tohno family clan led by Tohno Makihisa, led a surprise attack upon the Nanaya family clan. Nanaya's family was decimated...the only survivor was Nanaya Shiki. Tohno Makihisa, who found him as the only survivor, took him to be his adopted son (whether he felt sorry for him, or just amused that Nanaya Shiki happened to have the same name his own son, Tohno Shiki, whatever the case, Nanaya Shiki was brought to the Tohno family as an adopted son). Then, of course, the real Tohno Shiki turned into a demon, Tohno Makihisa banished him, and brought up his adopted son - Nanaya Shiki, as the heir to the Tohno family household.

Furthermore, it is said that Nanaya Shiki's ability to see "lines of death" comes after the ordeal in which he was killed by the real Tohno Shiki. Perhaps it was his awakening of the Nanaya family blood, caused by his sudden death and revival with the help of Tohno Akiha.

Question about Roa:

All vampires believe that they are immortal. However, true "immortality" does not exist - it's bound by nature to be mortal. Even vampires, who may seem immortal, are bound to nature's rules and can be killed. Many vampires go through this contradicting problem. Roa, came to the conclusion that he can become "immortal" by constantly changing bodies.

To give out a major spoiler, Roa's former body before the real Tohno Shiki was a girl named Elesia. She was the daughter of a French bakery in a small town in France. There are two factors in which Roa uses to find a new body - A. A person with extraordinary power, and B. A person who is high in social status. Unfortunately, when Roa's body before Elesia was killed suddenly by Arc, he didn't have time to look for a person that met both criteria. He opted to reside in Elesia's body. Now, "reside" means that he must choose his new body before being born. Therefore, Elesia was born normally, raised as a typical daughter of a bakery, until the day came when Roa that resided in her awoke. Elesia (Roa) killed off every person in the village...until she was killed once again by Arc.

However, Roa was prepared this time. He had already chosen his next body - a male heir to a family with high social status, which also happened to have a very interesting bloodline....the real Tohno Shiki. The rest is the story...

Going back to Elesia. What Roa hadn't expected was that Elesia actually did have a special power...one that which arose after she was killed, and partly awoke due to Roa being inside her. When the Church arrived at the town, they found one survivor - Elesia. Apparently, she did not die. But how can that be so? She had to have died, or else Roa would still be inside her. The Church, sensing that she was the culprit, killed her immediately. To their amazement, she dies, and revives once again. No matter how many times they tried to kill her, she would die, but be alive once again. This torture lasted for about a month, until the Church decided that the vampire inside her has truly gone away and that she could be useful for the Church's purpose to fight against vampires. She was baptized and given the name..... Ciel. Her power involves "the power to fix nature's contradictions." Her death is "nature's contradictions" That meaning - "nature perceives her as dead, but she cannot die." Thus, "nature opts to fix that contradiction by making her alive once again." What happens is "nature reverses what caused her death to the point she was alive once again." So, even if Ciel decides to cut her own throat, the "nature's contradiction" takes place and the process of the slit throat is reversed to the condition of normality. Hence, she is alive once again.

But of course, no one can be "immortal." That's against nature. Can she be killed? Of course. That's why nature has Nanaya Shiki - a person that can kill anything - even if that person seems to be "immortal," he is the one that nature provided for the reason why "immortality" cannot exist.

Now you also mentioned the real Tohno Shiki and Nanaya Shiki seem to see the same "death lines." In the anime, the part where Nanaya and Tohno's conscious become connected are not shown...in many ways, their consciousness are connected because - A. Nanaya Shiki's soul is inside Tohno Akiha, a person with Tohno family blood, and B. Tohno family blood has a strong resonance with a person of the same family (Hence Tohno Shiki is inadverdently conscious-connected with Nanaya Shiki through Tohno Akiha). Perhaps, Tohno Shiki can "see" death lines through Nanaya's sub-conscious-connected vision? Well, in the game, they also define what they each see - the real "Tohno Shiki" can see the "lifeline" that holds life together. Nanaya Shiki, on the other hand, sees "life itself." To put it a simpler way, the real Tohno Shiki sees the "gas tank that makes a car run." On the other hand, Nanaya Shiki sees "the engine of the car itself." "Gas" is crucial to the "life" of a car. But what good is "gas" if the "engine" - the "life" of the car itself, is dead? Apparently, they seem to be looking at the same "lines of death." However, Nanaya's vision is more direct at "ending a life itself"

yes yes i agree guessing what will happen next is fun, its no fun if we all know what will already happen.
