K-On! airs on TBS at 2AM (to be more accurate: 1:59AM - 2:29AM), which means:

-UTC: 5:00PM
-CEST: 7:00PM
-PDT: 10:00AM

If you want more accurate timezone, please check any time zone website, such like this one. From there, you can calculate yourself with the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC - GMT) as the reference point.

Again, please do not ask "when" it will air, as you have now the means to figure it for your own location.
Furthermore, I shall repeat again but: do NOT post countdown posts (such like: it airs in 5 mins !!!). Any overboard behaviour won't be tolerated, and if things go for the worse, the thread will be temporary closed.

Do scans of the manga exist anywhere? I've looked on onemanga but it's not there, at least not yet. Raw or translated doesn't make a difference to me, I know enough Japanese to understand things passably.

This episode was pretty nice, and is a good follow to episode 1.
The introductions of the other girls by Yui was kinda fun, and they certainly show some dynamic between the girls in terms of interactions.

And I guess Mio's fans will consider it as a treat considering how she was portrayed (she sure didn't have happy experiences with her several part jobs ).

That is to say, I didn't expect that "group of friends" touch that early, especially considering the cooperation to get the 250.000 yens for Yui's guitar. And good thing Yui didn't take it as granted.

Pretty good episode I would say
And the preview is quite interesting, as it seems they won't focus all the time on the practices, but also on the school life (though... Yui doesn't know the word "diet" I think ).

Note: for those who don't know yet, the OP and ED will be released on 22nd april.

Intro of K-on girls based on Yui's impressions.
Mio is has an adult charm. Mugi is definitely a Ojousama. Ritsu is bit of baka.
The reason Mio plays the bass not the guitar is that the guitarist is the star. She's easily embarrased.

With the help of little sis Yui manages to get some Yen for her guitar.

The girls go to the mall and have fun. But enough cash for the branded guitar. So Ritsu proposses part time jobs to raise money.

Various scenarios go through Mio's head on part time job. She's such a shy girl that she gets a nervous fit thinking about it.

The girls get a part time job and raise the money.

The girls return to the instrument store. But still not enough money.

Lol at Mugi's bargaining skill. The clerk recognizes her as the owner's daughter by her eyebrows. Reduces the price.


Yui plays with her new electric guiutar. She only knows one ad song.

Yui pulls the guitar from the speaker and gets feedback.

So this it's the supposed "Yui gets a guitar" episode, however, pretty much the whole episode she's just spacing out and eating.
It starts with Yui noticing she doesn't have enough money to buy a guitar (They go shopping and ended up wasting time again, almost forgot about the guitar. The one Yui picks it's because it's "cute"), so after talking with the rest of the girls, they decide to get a job and gather enough money.
So at the end the girls get the money, but Yui doesn't feel like taking it because everyone worked so hard (Right...). Later they go back to check guitars, and then, something awesome happens. TSUMUGI SAVES THE GODDAMN DAY, GOES TO THE OWNER AND ASKS HIM TO GIVE HER A GODDAMN GUITAR. THIS GUY FREAKS OUT LIKE WTF DUDE WHO ARE YOU, BUT TSUMUGI IT'S LIKE BEHOLD! MY EYEBROWS! AND THIS GUY GOES BANANA CRAZY AND GIVES HER THE GUITAR. So Tsumugi spoils Yui buying her the guitar. Also Yui's sister is very nice.

After finishing this episode, Tsumugi = She's hardcore and awesome.
