Do like the character designs and hope that they don't do major platonic shifts during the anime.

Also like how they're keeping Nabatame Hitomi as Kanade.

Totally anticipating the series and the OP... Because i didn't expect Lia to sing it.

Didn't notice that Fortune Arterial was having a anime? I'm interested to see how the anime version compares to the actual game.

Does anyone know if the same people that voiced the visual novel are also doing the anime too?

The cast is slightly different to the visual novel. Only male characters voices and Hitomi Nabatama remains unchanged.

I'm pretty sure the voice cast is actually the entirely the same, they're just using pseudonyms as usual. Anime that actually change the voicing from the game are pretty unusual nowadays.

Plausible deniability? If I were working in those sorts of "shady businesses", I imagine that I too would have two sets of resumes to appeal to two different sets of employers. Of course the core fans are "in the know", but casual fans and the mass media can just focus on the stuff that's less controversial. Seems pretty sensible to me...

If the fans know, then I don't see it hard to believe that these companies can find out who they are, especially with the internet. I mean, if they hired the same people from the game, then they know the alias they used, right? Might be handy for those who don't do adaptations and can keep both jobs separate or who are totally new.

Nah, you're thinking too practically. Plausible deniability is about politics. I'm sure everyone really "knows", but this way they can simply act like they don't when it's convenient. If it ever becomes an issue someone can just say "no, really, it's just someone who sounds similar!" It's just about preserving a certain image of propriety, even if "everyone knows" the truth.

Anyway, it's neither here nor there. We can just say that, if you've played the game already, the voices in the anime will sound "awfully familiar" and leave it at that.

I don't believe absence of trailers says anything tangible about quality, though i will admit being slightly surprised myself about it. One can only guess why they decided not to release a trailer in this day and age when we are used to seeing several for most shows, but eh ...who knows. Perhaps they decided to go the "lazy" route and not spend any effort on a trailer, banking on the original's popularity to carry the day. In the end, we will likely never know.
