Well done getting the forum back guys. Sad thing about all the lost data (posts, reputation), but it's better then no AS forum at all isn't it?
We'll just have to get everything back piece by piece ~_~

*also waves goodbye to all the rep that was given by kind forum members*
Posts I couldn't care less about, but Rep is something personal that indicates you're being a good member, so it kinda sucks to lose that. Heh, this is the second time this has happened to an account of mine. BeyondUnreal.com forums had a major crash and they also found that their most recent backup was about a year old. Well, good job to everyone who's helped get things running again, and ganbare (think that's spelled right...) to everyone still sifting through caches and stuff |

Thinking about it, I too think the loss of rep is really discouraging to a lot of members. Im wondering if there's some way to help the members get their reputation back a bit faster.
But I guess that's not really possible in any fair way, and it would be prone to abuse.

You know what.. this is a good chance for 'new members' (the ones that joined in 2005) to catch up with guys who have an tendancy to post a lot.
Anyway, let's just be grateful that the forum is up and running again, I am sure if everybody helps just a little bit, that everything will work out in the end. *goes off posting* |

I should have made a emergency rep guide in case the forum is set back a whole year. "Repcon 5 sir!" "Get me those bastards from administration, I want that reputation limit down to 5 seconds, NOW!." "Y-yes sir" "Oh and Johnson..lose the tie" Y-yes sir..."

killermonk You entered the 'Baby pic contest thread' right? Both names are familiar, I'm a little confuzzled. Aren’t you quite big and muscular?

Sad what happened to the forums. A lot of things happened in a year.
I know now isn't the best time to ask but I had my name changed from [A-Flux]Kiva128 to just Kiva128 a while ago since I'm no longer part of that fansub group. Whenever the mods have time (there's no rush, I know you guys are busy) can you change it back again please? I know there are lots of people who are worse off than I am anyways. Thanks in advance. Now let's get this forum back to the way it was, everyone. EDIT: Thanks for the name change! You guys rock!
