That looks nice, guess I overreacted too... can you blame me with Gonzo's recent track record though!?

well sure they do lots of average stuff but they also do some exceptional stuff (like recently seto no hanayome which was some of the best comedy of that year, and red garden which had some of the more submerging VA work in a while) and once in a while they do something incredible like Last Exile or gankutsuou.
so with gonzo theres always the chance you'll get something really incredible..
there are other studios that never really go "bad" but never make anything which amazes people..
personally i believe the reason a lot of people are so pissed at gonzo is that at some point they saw something that gonzo did that they really really liked and then when they tried to watch some other thing they did they totally got disappointed.
and to a lot of people thats worse then just being average.. cause when a studio is average you at least don't get your hopes high..
so i think its kinda a compliment for gonzo that people get so emotional whenever gonzo's doing something.. that just shows that they care :P

but maybe I'm just crazy XDDD

The CG reminds of SRW Divine in that it's really just too obvious. The combat looks a bit slow and kind of boring (then again I've been spoiled horribly by Gundam 00) but no where near Reideen's instant replay level of speed. The main character looks alright, but of course the females still look ripped straight from Gundam Seed, especially the blonde haired girl that kind of reminds me of Talia Gladys. We'll see how it goes. It already looks better than Dragonauts trailer.

Dragonauts and Kissdum come pretty close though.

Nope, the person he voiced is the villain here.
The main character is voiced by Kakihara Tetsuya.
Though, this would be Fukuyama's first time voicing middle age militaristic man.... I guess his csat as Maximillian in Senjou no Valkyria is a practice for this?

some middle-aged people can sound young-ish. from the chara design i saw on the site (cos i don't think the manga has been scanlated far enough to how him appearing). katou doesn't look stereotypically middle-aged. how old's he supposed to be? 40? middle to late 30s? Doesn't seem too far off over the hill to not be able to still sound youngish.

Reminds me of GSEED Destiny. LOL!

Tetsuya Kakihara's gonna be the leading guy from Gurren Laggann. Strange though, he's German born and yet, he can speak German, Spanish, Latin, Japanese and English. ZOMG! A seiyuu polyglot!! Wonder who can top that?

Honestly, not many at all. I know of a few that can speak other languages, nut not THAT many. I know Chie Nakamura(Sakura in Naruto) speaks Japanese, English, and Korean.

Yep, yep. Aside from her...

Sayaka Ohara - The only seiyuu I heard speak English in her demo tape
Yu Asakawa
Maya Okamato

are the only seiyuus I heard of speak fluent English so far. But hey, I'm gettin' off topic here. XP

Masato Amada(Junpei in Digimon Frontier) speaks fluent English. Maaya Sakamoto can only sing in English.

Funny that Maaya Sakamoto was mentioned in this thread. Her website updated today to announce that she'd be singing the ending theme to Kurogane no Linebarrel. Title's "Ame ga furu" (雨が降る). Release on October 29th.

I was kind of hoping she'd keep on getting great tie-ins so that her future sales wouldn't look too bad compared to Triangular, but a GONZO series is, um... not exactly what I had in mind. She however has a pretty good fanbase, so it's not like the sales are going to be awful either.
