"It started off with Captain Kurotsuchi in his lab looking up something (sorry, but I have no idea what it was or exactly what it did, but I think it's what made everyone lose their memory from what it seemed). Then a person with a scythe cuts his throat. I didn't hurt him but instead it made him freak out and forget everything and he had no idea what was going on, he even went and destroyed his computer. That's when the thing he was researching was taken.

The seiretei is then attacked by some white monster. What it did was cover the entire seiretei in this gloppy mess and there was nothing they could do to stop it. Rukia was about to run off to see how she could help stop the situation but then she's stopped by some girl saying, "I will erase your existence", then she was cut by the scythe person.

Ichigo and Kon are in Ichigo's room and Kon is looking at a letter Rukia must have wrote a while ago trying to decipher it. He asks Ichi to look at it, saying Nee-san and stuff but Ichi doesn't know who he's talking about and ignores him. When he goes to sleep memories of Rukia come in his head, he wakes up and then takes the letter from Kon and deciphers it (sorry, I can't read kanji and reading Japanese isn't one of my strong points yet so I'm not sure what it said). He then remembers Rukia and decides to go to seiretei. He had to go to Urahara to open a gate and tells him about Rukia but even Urahara doesn't remember her. (btw Ichi and Kon are the only characters trying to find out the truth. Orihime, Ishida, and Chad aren't even shown once).

He's goes to seireitei but the 2 people who took Rukia then make everyone forget who Ichi was and so they start attacking him. Ichi just runs away. Renji find him and so do other captains but no one remembers him and so he just runs away.
Rukia wakes up in some building and the 2 people were waiting for her. A girl with short blond hair with purple in the front and a guy with black hair. They're all excited to see her and the girl hugs her but Rukia doesn't know who they are but they reassure her that she knows them. Rukia eventually discovers that she's back in the area where she grew up. And remembers a few things about it. But that's all she remembers.

Ichi becomes an issue in the seireitei and Captain Yamamoto then gives the order of his capture/death. Whie running away from everyone Ichi kept saying about a Rukia to them and mentioned something to Byakuya about how he could forget her. Byakuya becomes curious as to why he should know Rukia and searches his house for something. I came to the conclusion that whatever he was looking for he couldn't find but found a carving on his desk of Chappy and he didn't know why it was there. He then looks at the picture of his wife when Ichi and Kon come saying that's Rukia's older sister and brought up the promise. Before long after they talk Ichi becomes surrounded by guards and Renji appears again ready to finish Ichi off. (This is the fight scene where I was impressed with the animation). Of course Ichi would win but he doesn't finish Renji off. While fighting Renji has images off the very last moment of Ichi holding his zanpakutou in the air from when they fought in the Soul Society arc of the series. Ichi runs off again and he seems to know where to find Rukia.

Rukia is looking out at her town and memories come to her about the grave that her and Renji made for her friends. She goes to that hill to see it and all those memories come back. Ichi and Kon are in the town and they catch Rukia's smell (wow, super good noses) and go running towards the hill. They find her there but she becomes defensive when Ichi knows her name. She has no idea who he is (poor Kon is sad, too). The 2 people show up by her side ready for a fight, they really don't like shinigami. Ichi says his name to Ruki and she begins to remember some things but it's all so faint still. When she starts remembering things it hurts her head so she starts groaning. The girl gets the most defensive, blaming Ichi for doing something and so then they start attacking him. Ichi's too strong so then they vanish with Ruki. Ichi becomes depressed for some reason (sorry, I couldn't understand what made him like that) and he sits alone just thinking about all the memories him and Ruki had. The memory of thim sharing their names in the first ep comes up alot in the movie. He then becomes all confident again and decides to go rescue her once again. Toushirou shows up and starts attacking Ichi, who was going to be defeated but then Renji stops Toushirou's attack. He said he was helping him because Zabimaru remembered who Ichi was (there was a scene about that. And when Ichi and Renji were fighting before Ichi said Renji could use bankai but Renji thought he couldn't. Zabimaru also asked Renji why he couldn't remember how to use bankai). The other Captains show up but then Kisuke shows up wearing his Captain robe with Yoruichi and then tells Ichi and Renji to go save Ruki while he explained the situation the the others. Kisuke didn't remember Ruki either but he found the back up of Captain Kurotsuchi's computer and it had past events and stuff. (Then he explained about the object he was researching but I didn't understand any of that, sorry).

Rukia is with the others and are now back in Captain Kurotsuchi's lab. The 2 people have some sort of plan to get rid of all the soul reapers. That white thing that was attacking the seiretei is now in movement again, attacking Renji and Ichi. The captains and lieutenants come and help them (the white glob turned into many many hollows that won't die) and clear a path for them to get through. Renji shows off when he remembers how to do bankai again (everyone was using their bankai now).

Back inside the lab Ruki regains her conscience and tries to stop the 2. She knows for a fact now that she's know "this Ichigo" but she doesn't know how. Renji and Ichi burst into the room and when Renji sorta remembers Ruki, Ruki then begins to remember Renji, memories come flowing in and she's in pain again. The girl is wayy too pissed off now, blaming shinigami for everything, then Ruki remembers that she was a shinigami as well and wants things to be how they were again. The girl tries to persuade her out of it but it won't work. The girl goes crazy (and by now we realize that her and the boy are brother and sister, he keeps calling her Onee-san) ad together when they joined their powers they took over Ruki's body (this was the scene where I give the voice actor all that credit. That screaming... I felt in pain!) and Ruki's screaming in pain. She is now transformed into that purple-eyed, scythe holding, emotionless person. They command her to attack and so she and Ichi begin fighting. (I enjoyed the fighting scene, well done as well^^) Ichi won't harm her and all he can do is dodge her attacks. She almost kills him but then he's brought to face Zangetsu in that building place and Ichi is brought to some realization. He then gets ready to attack Rukia with one final blow. Then attack and Ichi stabs right though her (I couldn't believe he did that). The 2 people then leave Ruki (and somehow Ruki's not harmed anymore??) and Ichi holds her until she wakes up (which is unfortunately wayyy too fast >_<) and she remembers the 2 people. (I forget their names) but she runs over to them and then the memories come back. She knew them back when she lived in that district and one day a hollow disguised as a shinigami attacked the 2 (that explains why they hated shinigamis) and Ruki went to save them but then she almost got killed, in the end the hollow killed the 2 kids. They were then sent to Hueco Mundo where they were reborn as hollows, and that's why they had those powers.

It's obviously that they were going to die. Rukia pleaded for them not to but they did and then she cried (the crying scene I was talking about). (In the commericals for the movie you might have heard them say, "sayonara, Rukia". That is explained right then when the girl says that before she dies). In the end Ruki is looking at a piece of paper on the hill that the girl wrote for her years ago. (In the begging before Ruki was taken, she's shown stuffing a piece of paper in her clothing, it's obviously the same paper) Ichi shows up and they talk a bit then at the end they exchange the same words they did in the first episode, "Thanks, Shinigami." "My name's not Shinigami. It's Kuchiki Rukia." Then the paper flutters out of her hands and into the wind.

IMO way more interesting than previous two movies . I hope they do have a haunting background score to add to the effect : )

Its called "All Night Nipon" and Porno's is the host of it. In the radio Kubo is talking the start of Bleach, how because Rukia was made the story of "Bleach" was made around her. He even admitted he is a sadist in there

Maybe her relationship with Rukia is just not that special (compare to Rukia's relationship with Renji or Byakuya, per say); and it's not like they had that many meaningful interactions other than your basic friendship... Besides, this movie is obviously about the bond between Ichigo and Rukia. All the characters you've mentioned above, including orihime, have nothing to do with that. Adding to the fact that none of them adds anything spectacular to the movie action-wise, why include any of them?

I am actually very pleased with them having no appearance in the movie because the time wasted giving them screen time can be better allotted for more interesting things. =)

basic friendship doesn't come w/ a speech like Rukia gave right after her defeating Aaoroniero >_> just saying...also it was Orihime to first go to Ichigo when everyone's memory of Rukia disappeared in the manga...I would think they have a sisterly bond.

To me having a movie w/out the full supporting cast is like having a movie w/out the series main character...sadly the latter has been done for a certain other series already...

Lol. You are giving her way too much credit. I see no difference in Rukia's friendship with orihime and that with Ishida or Chad. It's only natural that if one of them were to not appear in the movie, all three don't. Meh, just my two cents. :\

Again, they just don't matter in terms of the focus of this movie, which is basically just Ichigo and Rukia. If you just want to see orihime that badly, maybe they'll make next one about her then.

I don't think I'm giving her too much credit, since the material lays in the many pages. I would think it would have some meaning considering there's basically a nude manga page w/ Rukia and Orihime holding hands (chapter 228 page 3 btw)

I'm not trying to grasp for the special bond between IchixRuki, but the bond between RukixOrihime is there.

Actually I agree with Mr---er Trizzy. Rukia and Orihime do have a special bond. It's not as deep as the one she has with Ichigo. It does exists. I think Orihime wouldn't have forgotten her this time and it would have been nice if she would do it again. I think Ishida and Chad should have also taken the trip but it would be nice if they were only going because Ichigo was and couldn't remember her either. Just my two cents.

They are not in the movie because, if I'm not mistaken, only shinigamis' memories of Rukia had been erased. So, Ishida, Inoue and Chad wouldn't have forgotten Rukia.

Kon took this role in the movie and I think it's better this way. xD
