Haruko (Misuzu's mother) from Air does. 12 episodes (13 technically, but the last one's just a series recap), and she's surprisingly important except for near the middle

A lot of action shows have a tough guy with a Kansai accent, my favorite examples being Sanosuke from Rurouni Kenshin and Sendou from Hajime no Ippo. If you just like the accent, then you should check out Abenobashi Magical Shopping District, where there was only one character who didn't speak that way.

If you want alot of kansai talk definitely go check out Abenobashi Magical Shopping District and Azumanga Daioh like the others stated. I would like to add Ranma 1/2 because Ukyo joins the pack in the third season, I believe. But only watch it if you have the patience to sit for 2 season without Ukyo. But if you like classic comedy I would suggest you watch the whole thing anyways.

Apparently Ichimaru Gin from bleach speaks with a Kansai accent. But don't pin me down on this, since I'm not familiar with the Japanese dialect. I just got it from the fansubs.

Doesn't Tina from Ai Yori Aoshi speak with a Kansai accent? Sano(Not sure if the name is correct) speaks in a different accent in Law of Ueki as well I believe.

Actually, Tina Foster speaks Hakata-ben. That is the accent from the Fukuoka prefecture in Japan.

Heh, being something of a Japanese aficionado, I was somewhat chuffed to find that my real name has meaning in Japanese My real name being Ben of course (meaning Dialect).

Interesting. I wasn't sure, just knew her way of speaking sounded different enough. Thanks for clearing that up.

No problem.

I completely forgot about one of the most famous kansai characters in all of anime. Konno Mitsune A.K.A. "Kitsune" from Love Hina. If you haven't seen Love Hina, Kitsune is kansai to the core.

Oh yeah, love the way Kitsune speaks, even though she's one of my least favourite characters from Love Hina.

Oshitari Yuushi from Prince of Tennis also has a Kansai accent. Some of his character songs have Kansai lingo all over the place~ (there are also joke tracks of him trying to teach others Kansai sayings..)

Akitsuki from Suzuka is from the Kansai region (at least this is what I remember).
Although his dialect isn't used many times.

Actually, he's from Hiroshima. If you recall he sings the Hiroshima Carp's(Hiroshima's baseball team) anthem at karaoke. Hiroshima-ben and Kansai-ben are totally different.

Actually Natsume Maya is not speaking Kansai-ben. She is just speaking like an old man often ending sentences with "-jya".

Just to clear that up, "Osaka" is not from Okinawa. "Osaka" is from Osaka, the prefecture in Japan where they speak Kansai-ben.
