I for one like him because he is a great character to follow. Following his development from Volume 3 (where he was a psycho) up to NT (where he is not a crazy maniac anymore) is a fun thing IMO. That he was crazy once just makes him a better character for people like me.

Not to mention that it is kinda useless to hate characters for past sins here. Redemption is one of themes of TAMNI after all.
And Accel is definitely a character that seeks it. How much Worst's words hurt him shows us better then anything how much he regrets what he had done in past.

That's why I seriously doubt we'll be seeing the festival this year (our year). If it was going to happen, the synopsis would definitely mention it.

Btw, I saw the "Railgun Hell" part, but I thought the preview only mention something like he reunite with Index? Yeah I'm holding out for a small hope that their reunion be different from the usual

Its because in Volume 3 people liked him as a villain.

He was a powerful, trash talking murderer, and they make great villians.

Then in Vol 5 onwards he tries to redeem himself.

He tries to make himself better, he's a growing individual...

You should never forget who he was, but you also have to look at who he is, and who is striving to become.

Speaking from personal experience here. There are a lot of people who wanted to redeem themselves after having made a grave mistake. Accelerator's one of the few characters we see who's flawed, who was a villain, and now wanted to make amends. They know they won't be forgiven (if not at all), but they still want to get redemption. This is basically how the dynamics work between him and Last Order works. He knows that Last Order won't forgive him for what happened during the SISTERs project (from LN anyway), but still, he's still willing to put his life on the line for her sake before he wants redemption. It's a work to redeem himself that people find appealing to cheer on, even though he's the underdog. At first, he was the 'wow, this white-haired guy looks cool. OMG! He's haxx!!' that kind of thing, but now it's like making an overpowered person more 'human', if you can explain the questionable actions he did later. Besides, Draco in Leather Pants.

Anyway, Volume 2 Chapter 1 was completed, and I suspect Volume 3 chapter 2 may be completed within the next 24 hours.

I've read everything and yes, he is far far more normal now...but not enough yet. He's still kind of twisted inside. With that kind of past, I suppose it's impossible for him not to be.
