a picture of them together in a nice picture frame?
matching rings? (no, not for marriage of course) errr... some cutesy figurine kinda thing that comes in a pair? (one boy, one girl) and then give him the girl one and keep the boy one for herself? a scarf that was knit just for him? (since a scarf is probably the easiest to knit out of all knitable things) iono, just some quick things off the top of my head. probably something that lasts for quite a long time (cologne can only be used until it's out... and depending on how much he uses it, it may not be 'memorable' for long... same goes for tshirt) |

Mr_Paper, that is a great idea. From now on when I am stuck on a fun gift for someone thats gonna be it.
This reminds me of the "mixed tape" episode of friends. If there is a movie or band that they both like and have enjoyed together, a DVD or CD would be cheap. I can remember every movie/concert date I ever went on and when I see/hear the movie/songs I always associate it with who I went with. In high school, I made my boyfriend a little satchel. Don't ask me what I was thinking. I guess the sewing class just got to my head. But he kept it out in his room and would put random things in it and said he would think of me everytime he got something out or into it. If its going to remind him of her, its going to have to be something pretty personal. Its hard to say what will remind him of her or them together without really knowing much about them. |

if she can cook, have her cook a really nice dinner for him. one of the few ways to a man's heart is with good cooking...
or if he's a gamer like me, buy him a video game (xbox - ninja gaiden, ps2 - mlb2004, ffxi, RE online GC - viewtiful joe.. etc...)... or buy him a gaming console (gameboy advance) or if he like anime, buy him a series. or just one DVD of a series.. or a bootlegged version of series (LOL).. or if he likes sports, buy him tickets to some game and go with him... or if he's likes plays, buy him some broadway tickets... or... urrr.. ran out of ideas... |
