The manga is called Sai:Taker - Futari no Artemis. The main character is a guy who turns into a girl after wearing an experimental headband. He can turn back into a guy when he takes it off but he'll die if he doesn't keep it on for more than a minute or something.

Actually, I'd kind of welcome it if Kazuya gets genderbent. He doesn't work well as a male protagonist at all and might work better as a female protagonist.

Also, what's up with Rana? She feels like she has no importance to the story but her abilities are basically identical to Satellizers'. They even power up at the same time.

Might as well. There was more romance in the short between Chiffon and Ticy than the entire Freezing series combined.

It starts with Satellizer and Rana charging the Nova Commander. However, their initial attack missed by a mile. They soon learned why, their opponent had completely avoided them with Illusion Turn, with her arms folded no less. The commander then retaliated by blasting a chunk out of Satellizer's side, wounding her greatly. Rana tried to assault it alone, but apparently got nailed by the force of her own attacks. including Burning Fang. She too fell to the ground. A wounded Charles tried to blindside the Commander with a roundhouse kick, but got her foot caught and was hung upside down. The Commander stuck her fingers in Charles' mouth, planning to subvert her as she did Roxanne earlier. Arnett tried to decapitate her from behind, but her blade shattered on her opponent's skull. Rana tried to sneak attack her, but wound up tossed aside like a rag doll, just like the others. Kazuya looked to his wounded partner, who rose to fight yet again.

The next chapter has Satellizer regaining her footing, as her friends fight bravely but futilely against their otherworldly foe. She powered up for one huge attack, charged forth and decapitated the Commander with her newly created Nova Strike. Arnett and Rana ran to her classmate's side, who lied in a heap after her desperate attack. Though as Charles gazed at the still-standing enemy, she recalled Roxanne's corpse also still stood. As she watched, the Commander regenerated her head, minus her winged mask. Which revealed her surprisingly humanoid features, save for her alien eyes.

Back in the West Genetics control room, Yumi, Elize, and Margaret watch as the situation continues to spiral out of control. Though as they watched the tragic scene, they saw several Novas being decimated, as Gengo smiled down below the surface.

The next chapter has two of Chiffon's sisters, Cassandra and Teslad, kicking some serious Nova butt. The former uses her Nova Blood-style weapon to fire a huge particle beam, which decimated countless Nova in her path. While the latter preferred close quarters combat, and cut several Novas to pieces with her bladed tonfas.

Back on the battlefield, the Nova Commander smiles her enemies, possibly impressed that they'd actually managed to hurt her. But with Satellizer down and Arnett's weapon involuntarily dispelled, the situation looked grim for our heroines.

Nothing has been said officially, though with so much foreshadowing done to suggest it, it's hard to think of another explanation. Look at how close Maria and Gengo were, they were practically tied to the hip. Gengo himself said Kazuya would learn the truth about his blood, and I'm sure he will once this is all over. Can't wait for it.

Looks like Abel wasn't being too nice to Ticy, so Chiffon decided to rectify the matter. Soon afterwards, Abel cleaned up his act and became Ticy's Limiter. Personally I like Creo's story better, how she personally clobbered Goro who repented and became her Limiter. Seems to be a trend, ironic isn't it? Spoiler for Freezing Zero chapter 15: And man, the final battle between Arnett and Elizabeth was truly intense. Arnett tried fighting dirty, but in the end her Accel definitely wasn't faster than light, as Elizabeth demonstrated with her SSS. And it ends just around where Those Who Make The Rules begins, when an injured Marin meets an injured Arnett in the cafeteria. Looks like they've come full circle in this chapter, me likes.
