Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel enough despair in Fairy tail... I nearly thought this would be the great turnover where people started dying left and right just cause they could, and then we got serious romance and crap..
Guess I have to wait 2 more years or so.

I thought about that, since it's been seven years and presumably the Edolas characters have aged, (actually, I'd prefer it, since it means we don't have to screw with the future again or at least regular Earth future) but then how does Silver have ice magic or magic at all? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I understand it, the people from Edolas don't have magic abilities even when they come to Earth.

There are ways around this, I suppose... (magic objects, experimentation)

Still it seems like a HUGE plot twist for having almost no foreshadowing attached. I guess we'll see.

It might be to do with the chapter of the story arc rather the chapter of the manga (the Tartarus Arc seems like it is made to be like a book).

The demon of Tartaros aren't using magic but curse that's what Temperst & Jackal said yet Erza, Natsu & Lisanna restrained Kyouka with a anti-magic handcuffs.

Erza beating Kyouka to the point they got outside I wonder what armor it was with a lance. Zeref appearing all of a sudden in front of Natsu.

Kyouka was pretending to be restrained until she had fewer enemies to deal with. She even said so when she broke the cuffs

Now, why does she suck so bad? That was barely a fight! Erza's revenge was about 1/10 as satisfying as it should've been

Erza is OP and Kyouka is severely underplayed - she punches a hole in the ex-chairman but she can't scratch Erza, whose armor is best known for falling apart? This is far from over.

He has done much that's evil from what we've actually seen. Him acting evil now seems odd to me, since he hasn't shown it so far. It's like he just wants Natsu to end him. It's bit confusing.

Kyouka is weak. I hope this isn't the last we see of Erza vs. Kyouka, or else I see many fans will rage >_<

Oh wait, she hasn't released her "cursed form" yet, so there should be something to look forward still.

Oh and Zeref :O Why do I feel his appearance is a little premature? That was a good one though, it actually left my jaw hanging open. Lol. Can't wait for the next chapter. And those 5 chapters Mashima promised. I guess this means new OVAs, and some shipping. Yayz

The wiki states that he suffers from split personality: one side is very well-informed about his destructive tendencies and wants Natsu to kill him, while the other just wants everything reduced to nothing.

Manga creator Hiro Mashima announced on Friday that Kodansha will publish four special one-shot chapters of his Fairy Tail series in March and April. This year's 13th issue of Weekly Shōnen Magazine is confirming the "Fairy Tail Matsuri" (Fairy Tail Festival) campaign's schedule on Wednesday.

Each full-size chapter will be at least 20 pages in length. The April issue of Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine will feature the character Frosch and the Sabertooth guild on March 8. This year's 4th issue of Magazine Special will include a Juvia and Gray chapter on March 20. This year's 18th issue of Young Magazine will feature Erza on March 31. The May issue of Monthly Shonen Magazine will publish a special chapter with Natsu, Lucy, and a mystery character on April 5. These will be the first works that Mashima has published in Young Magazine and Monthly Shonen Magazine.

The main Fairy Tail manga's Tartarus arc will run in three consecutive issues of Weekly Shōnen Magazine with color opening pages, beginning with the 17th issue on March 26. This year's 18th issue will include two Fairy Tail chapters on April 2.

The seven Kodansha manga magazine issues that feature "Fairy Tail Fest" chapters will each have a special present ticket. Fans who collect at least four of the tickets and send them in can receive a set of two original clear files.

Mashima launched Fairy Tail in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2006. The 41st compiled volume shipped in December, and the 42nd book is slated to ship on March 17. Kodansha Comics is releasing the series in North America, and it will ship the 35th volume on Tuesday.

The series inspired a television anime that concluded with a "To Be Continued" title card. Weekly Shōnen Magazine announced on January 8 that the anime will return in April. Funimation is releasing the first series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in North America.

Update: Last year, Mashima published 150 pages of Fairy Tail between July 10 and July 20.
