this anime is depressing although the action is good

Since all releases are pushed back these days, I gave it another shot... when it aired I was mortified by the visuals of the 1st episode, not that they get better... at least GONZO did a favour to humanity by going out of business XD

Anyway, story was great, actually more than great... until those final minutes with the pointless projections. Battles were ugly, and just fast forward most of the action. Animation was average (good though for GONZO standards), and directing at best awkward.

Still Niθ's original designs were flawless, I wish he was also working alongside Gen in Madoka, and by the way, judging from this and Saya no Uta, Madoka is in store for more death and destruction

PS: The show needed much more Elea and Snow

Dunno, I bought this anime the other day on a whim, hoping it wouldn't suck. The first couple of episodes were alright but I have to say I absolutely hate the CG battles. The should have just stuck with 2D animation. I don't even know if I should finish it really since I'm not really into it. If I decide to, I'll probably do what Malkuth said and fast forward through the action. I wish I didn't buy it, I should have just bought welcome to the NHK even though I've already seen it several times.

Sorry for necro reviving, but when Joseph has a flashback with holding girl in his arms on fire ruins, was that girl Snow?
It was episode 10.
