What, you mean apart from the nude transformation sequences?

There were a few panty-flashes, but nothing really, um, lingering. An example would be in the first episode of A's, where Vita strikes down at Nanoha with her hammer (and misses), and we get a fairly clear view of her (white) panties. And then there's the scenes of Nanoha changing or such.

I mean, after the transformation sequences and Fate's outfit, it does seem kind of tame to have a panty-flash once in a while. Heck, I don't remember seeing much fanservice in StrikerS so far. ("Don't remember" does not mean "doesn't exist", mind.)

Yup, read that, and it's quite interesting that even Lutecia has a connection to cars... on the other hand, the author forgot about Shamal and her car connection ^^;;

Shamal is also the only one to have a thematically appropriate name AFAIK.

Well, there's two sources for the characters in Nanoha. Those that were imported directly from the Triangle Hearts video game series, which covers Nanoha and everyone who made an appearance in the first Nanoha anime except Fate, Arf and Precia. Those characters' names are "normal".

Then there's the characters who were created specifically for the anime franchise. These are the characters who are named after vehicles, which I'm guessing is probably a tribute to Magic Knights Rayearth by the staffers.

"If you're NOT going to be a friend"?? Are you kidding? That's how she MAKES all her friends!! (see: Arisa Bannings, Fate Testarossa, Vita, Reinforce I)

So Blast first ,talk later is the best solution in Nanoha case

Friedrich Caro's dragon might refer to the Air con brand maybe ...just keep reminded of this because am using one.

Which fan service are you referring too , see nothing really just like what dklleis and yukiko mentioned. If you consider Nanoha/Fate transform sequence in the OP fan service , wait till they zoomed in later and you might bleed to death(maybe)

Cut those henshin sequence short, they are so annoying most of the time and waste of minutes.

that is true!!
i mean starlight breaker used on Fate = friends with Fate
slap Alisa on the face for being a bully = friends
Kicked Vita's Butt = friends (well not too sure, cuz she still didn't like Nanoha much at the end of A's)
and Kicking Reinforce's butt = friends!

hahahaha it works well with Nanoha!

Lol, pretty funny.

Question- does Hayate's unit's name really translate to 'division'? Because... it's a little small for that. Even taking into account that mages may count more like vehicles than individual troops.

I mean, within the Midchildan Army a battalion is definitely larger than them...

課 can be translated as division, but it doesn't really mean division in the military sense. It's more like section, department, etc.

師団 would be division in the military sense.

Riot Force 6 isn't "Engrishy". The grammar is sound.

What makes it strange is the lack of contextual meaning. What riots are they planning to quell? Why riots?

Maybe it is because of the police element in it? Riot Forces usually have specialised equipment to deal with riots, and are usually shown to be well-equipped (when you get to see them on the news). Perhaps they were going for the image, and not for the job details.

Cheers.
