The moment he mumbled it, there came an instant reply without pause.
An affirmation. At once he didn’t want to believe it, but it seemed to be true.
“And we will have you leave, Basara-san. Mio-sama will take this house.”
Maria said with her chest puffed up, whereas Mio stayed silent ever since her “Get out”.

Maria had changed her way of calling Mio, so Basara understood their relationship. Therefore he asked.

Its going to be interesting when that God Tribe appears. From what it seems, they appear to be the strongest clan.

But seriously, considering this (More in depth version) Scene was translated in the LN after the manga translation already came out I did sort of skip over it, and since I read it a while ago I totally forgot about it !

youkai - hell, I'm expecting that somewhere along the lines, one will appear to get close to Basara like a nine tailed fox

Vatican - not a clan per se but stands as a faction. the usual church stuff like "burn the devils in the name of teh Lord!" and their subsidiary is the Inquisition.

I don't recall seeing such a thing about succubi in this series, so do point out if any such information was given and I unfortunately missed it.

Edit: The virgin, never had a boyfriend sensei character is practically a cliche at this point, so I'd not try and bring RL logic into that one.

'Used goods' is actually a fitting term here. This is an ecchi harem series, meant mostly for guys, and some girls, to enjoy what the MC enjoys as much as immersively(I don't think that's a word, but w/e) possible. So yes, the girls and even the bishounen are 'goods'.

1. Why did Sakazaki asshole miraculously turned into a magic being when he was supposed to be dead(Its said that Sakazaki was a human in the first place)?
2. Is it mentioned that Hasegawa avoided men so as to not involve them being harmed by Sakazaki; does it mean that she knew about his true nature?!If so why did she let him off? Wasn't her intention to kill him?!
3. How is Hasegawa related to Basara?

It's mentioned in 4th volume, somewhere, that Hasegawa is indeed a virgin; she justifies this fact by saying that she had no experience with men, and therefore chooses Basara to go inside bath with her. in vol.3 the friend of Basara(forgot his name) says that Zest is a virgin too,it could it be that the matter of virginity somehow does influence their power, like in case of Yuri's mother,where she's lost the power of Sakuya when giving birth to Yuri, maybe it applies to Zest as well

And yea, there were some parts which really didn't make sense to me(mentioned in the previous post), or maybe cause I myself didn't understand. I even was pissed off at how the author kept tormenting Basara when he was fighting Zorgia(seriously, how much can one keep describing the enemy's mocking laugh), and only to find out how Basara dealt with Zorgia in the end. Well..hopefully the next volumes will turn out better

Yes, it's all in the raws. The author isn't stupid; he knows it would be a nail in the coffin, were he to make characters into what you refer "used goods", just like what happend to Kannagi. Though after reading the vol3 he got me really pissed off, wonder if he likes to mock readers...
I've hard times when the author starts enigmatizing things...nevertheless, Basara's women are all virgin
