If there is one thing that Yuuno prides himself in, it's knowing many things, from history to even economics. At a young age, he had proven himself capable of excavating on his own and the Scrya Clan that had adopted him as their own, knew he was exceedingly talented.

Yes, Yuuno Scrya knew many things....unfortunately for him, girls weren't exactly his forte.

He groaned.

A light breeze brushed past him, sending a few strands of dirty-blond hair to float in the air before gently landing across his forehead. Once every three minutes, the young Archaeologist would check his watch, nervously combing the long mane that he grew due to him having no time to go and see a barber. Despite not having the time to get a haircut, he did however, have time to shave and put on his best green suit he uses to give lectures on ancient relics. If only he had done something to his damn hair.

When he got bored checking his watch, he stood up from the bench near the school and proceeded to walk back and forth, ignoring the incoming students heading towards the dance. Its been at least two and a half months since he last saw Nanoha and they only had time to talk for ten minutes before she was sent on a mission.

He suddenly stopped and looked at the sky, the stars staring brightly back at him.

“Uh, excuse me?” asked a voice behind him.

He turned around and saw a girl wearing a strapless satin red dress standing beside what Yuuno assumed was her date.

“Yes, that's me. Is there something I can help you with?” said Yuuno using his most professional voice.

“Well, I was told to give you this,” And she handed him a yellow slip of paper.

Taking it, Yuuno asked confused, “Thank you but who is it from?”

The girl shook her head, a knowing smile plastered on her face. As soon as the girl and her date was out of site, Yuuno opened it and smiled.

Meet me in front
of the rose bushes...

Even though there was no name, he knew that it was from Nanoha who had written the letter. He recognized her handwriting anywhere.

It only took him five minutes to get to his destination and what he saw took his breath away. The rose bushes were in full bloom and white lights were adorned among them, making the garden appear even more breathtakingly beautiful. But as soon as he saw movement up ahead, Yuuno slowly made his way to it, the wind picking up the garnet petals that were strewn across the garden.

And then....his world stopped.

In front of him was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on and her elegant beauty brought the rose garden to shame in comparison. She was wearing a slightly tight green dress that was open to a side just below her waist, revealing her slender legs. Her silky hair was somewhat wavy and held together in a fashionable ponytail. Her face reflected the beauty that her body gave away, her plump lips curving into a smile.

“Uh, hi, Yuuno,” laughed Nanoha, nervously. “Thank you for coming in such a short notice.”

It took a moment for Yuuno to find his voice and when he did, it came out somewhat strangled.

“N-no problem, Nanoha. I'll do anything for you.”

Nanoha giggled and Yuuno's legs almost gave away.

She then walked up to him and to his utter surprise, threw her arms around his neck, bringing them close.

“N-Nanoha?” stuttered Yuuno with his hands to his sides, not knowing what to do with them.

“Yuuno-kun...” she whispered from the crook of his neck. “I'm so sorry...”

Yuuno blinked.

Did he hear what he thought he heard?

Ignoring the song, “Sometimes” by Linkin Park that began to play in the background, he said, “What do you mean?”

“You gave me everything, Yuuno-kun. You gave me the life I always wanted and not once have I ever said thank you.”

Yuuno didn't know how he should reply to what she just said. What does she mean by 'never thanked him'?

“I'm still a little lost, Nanoha...” he said, forcing Nanoha to look at him.

“Yuuno-kun....” she whispered, touching his cheek and he realized how warm it was. “You gave me Raising Heart.”

Yuuno then understood what Nanoha had meant and...

...he smiled.

This time, Yuuno slipped his arms around her waist and hugged her, a sweet peachy smell entering his nostrils.

“Nanoha, don't worry about it. I gave you Raising Heart because she chose you. That's all.”

Nanoha shook her head and looked into his emerald-colored eyes, her grip around him tightening a bit.

“No, Yuuno-kun. That's where you're wrong. Raising Heart chose me because you came into my life.”

She then broke away from the embrace and grabbed both of his hands, a sincere smile brightening up the night.

“Yuuno-kun....thank you.”

And without saying another word, Takamachi Nanoha guided Yuuno Scrya to the dance floor, not knowing that a certain black-haired, spectacles-wearing woman was hiding nearby.

“Hopefully you two will be more than just friends...,” she said, watching her little sister take off her green ribbon and tying Yuuno's hair with it.

Miyuki smiled.

“Someday...”

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm suddenly a Miyuki fan girl. :/

I believe it's missing "Are you Yuuno?" or something, since Yuuno replies with "yes that's me"

Should either be "He knew that it was from Nanoha" or "he knew that it was Nanoha who had written the letter"

Pointed out two major errors in the quote. Otherwise, this was a lovely fic A very nice and touching moment between Nanoha and Yuuno. I absolutely love it!

Very cute. ^^ A sweet moment between Nanoha and Yuuno, definitely. It's a shame canon never really even gave them this much, it would be IC for Nanoha to at one point thank Yuuno.... unless she did so in Sound Stages, in which case, ignore what I just said.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm suddenly a Miyuki fan girl. :/

Double post, but, new drabble...

Spoiler for Changes:

More of an idea than a short this time, but, it's been bothering me for awhile, so...

Anyway, it's S1 of Nanoha again, but this time with a change, can you spot it?

Watching with some disinterest mixed with worry as the girl fell, mostly because she didn't feel like killing someone, Fate was partly relieved that the girl's familiar was able to save her life. "Bardiche."

"Jewel Seed, sealed." Her Intelligent Device said as she nodded and turned to the ferret.

"Tell your master that if she does not wish to be harmed in the future, she should stay out of my way." Fate wasn't above beating someone until they were black and purple, but killing them? No, she might have acted cold on the battlefield, but killing someone just wasn't in her.

As the ferret watched her leave, he shook his head and sighed. At least Nanoha was alright.

"I'm back." Fate called out to the penthouse that she was using as her base of operations. She smiled softly as she saw her familiar walk up to her. "Hello, Arf."

"Fate!" The wolf sounded rather happy to see her. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, I had a small difficulty getting the Jewel Seed, but it was easily taken care of."

Arf tilted her head slightly. "You look upset. You know that you should always be happy when you come back."

Fate rubbed Arf's head. "I'll be okay."

"Fate..." Arf warned before the doors leading to another room opened up and a new person walked in.

"Honestly..." The person huffed as she looked at Fate, before walking up to her, picking her up and pulling her into a hug, getting a blush from the tiny blond girl as she was fussed over. "I told you going out by yourself was a bad thing."

"Mother, I..."

"I told you, you should stop spoiling her, if you want her to grow up properly."

The woman turned to the one who just spoke. "Linith, really, however I want to treat my daughter is up to me." The woman huffed and turned away from the catgirl before smiling at Fate. "And you, you need to tell me all about your mission, okay?"

Fate was blushing, but nodded as her mother tapped her nose.

"Really..." Linith sighed. "You shouldn't spoil her so much... Lady Alicia."

One little change that throws the entire season dynamic out of whack, eh?

Blame Alavon, I went and continued it a bit more.

And, I do want to turn this into a story, but I have NO idea how to make enough changes to canon without killing too much of it at the same time.

Alicia smiled as she washed her daughter's hair as the two relaxed before dinner. "Really? That girl sounds like she's a strong mage."

Fate shook her head groggily. Somehow always washing her hair put her to sleep for some reason. "She's not very skilled, but she's got a lot of magical power."

"She sounds like what Linith told me you were like when she was teaching you."

"Mother." Fate blushed more as her mother teased her slightly. "It's different."

"I know." Alicia smiled and hugged Fate from behind. "Go ahead and deal with her how you see fit, but try not to kill her, okay?" When Fate nodded, Alicia picked her up and the two got into the warm bath, elicting a sigh from the two blondes.

As Fate closed her eyes and rested her head on Alicia's chest, the older of the two thought back to when she was just a little younger than Fate. "To think, something so small kept me alive..."

*Flash...*

"Alicia?" Precia looked at her daughter, who was coughing and had a red face. "Are you okay?" She frowned and put the back of her hand on her daughter's head. "My goodness, you're burning up."

"I'm sorry." The little girl looked down, saddened that she wouldn't be able to visit her mother's lab that day.

"It's okay." Precia smiled at her as she picked Alicia up and walked to her room. "You get some rest, I'll get a sitter to watch you until I get back tonight, okay?"

"Okay, mama, be good."

"I will." Precia smiled as she cupped her child's cheek and carressed it softly.

*Flash...*

Alicia closed her eyes, of course, that explosion that happened that day nearly took her mother's life, and might have taken hers as well if she had been there. She cracked an eye open and smiled at her daughter, her Fate, as she rested. "Fate... Come on, we need to get out."

"Mmm... Five more minutes, please?"

Alicia laughed softly. "Okay, five more minutes." Being sick for a few days had stopped her from being near a massive explosion, who knew what would have happened if she hadn't been sick that day?

In the kitchen, Linith was humming to herself softly as she made dinner for everyone in the penthouse. "Arf, if you even try eating anything before Lady Alicia and Fate get back, I'm going to make you spend the night outside as a human with no clothes on."

"Eek!" Linith smirked to herself as Arf jumped away from the food she was cooking.

"Hey, Linith..." Arf asked after a few moments.

"Hmm?" The catgirl turned to the dog girl as she scratched the back of her head. "What?"

"Do you know why Alicia is having Fate look for the Jewel Seeds?"

Linith sighed softly and nodded. "Yes, I do... Lady Alicia's mother, Lady Precia, is quite ill, and modern medicine just can't help her..."

"So, these Lost Logia..."

"Are Lady Alicia's last chance to save her mother from dying on her." Linith shook her head. "Not much else can be done about it, but I do hope that they're careful, otherwise things could be very bad."

Arf nodded and a determined glint came to her eyes. "I won't fail Fate or Alicia, I'll make sure that Fate gets the Jewel Seeds safely so that Alicia doesn't have to worry about her daughter."

Linith smiled, that was all she hoped for. Well, that and she hoped that Fate grew up to be as lovely a person as Alicia was.

"I know." Alicia smiled and hugged Fate from behind. "Go ahead and deal with her how you see fit, but try not to kill her, okay?" When Fate nodded, Alicia picked her up and the two got into the warm bath, elicting a sigh from the two blondes.

As Fate closed her eyes and rested her head on Alicia's chest, the older of the two thought back to when she was just a little younger than Fate. "To think, something so small kept me alive..."

In the grand hall clad with a distinct color of red, and where various grotesque ornaments hung from the walls, a large table was lined up with several plates. Three chairs stood alone at each side, except for the fourth, where the spot had been left empty.

From a door at the end of the hall a girl with white hair bulging from her shoulders emerged, carrying yet another silver plate with a lid that was hiding the plate’s contents. From her shoulder and in front of her stomach was a white apron, splattered with peculiar red stains.

She put the plate down on the table, nodded in satisfaction and called out; “Valahia! Teara! Dinner is done!”

She removed her apron and hung it over her chair which she pulled out. She sat down, dragged it close to the table and opened the first of the big plates surrounding her.

Chatter outside the main door told her that her sisters had arrived. The first to enter was Valahia, almost dancing into the hall. As her older sister, Valahia too had white hair, but instead of being straight it curled at the end. For the occasion she wore a red dress with a golden necklace around her neck, which jumped around as she moved. She was a very energetic girl, compared to her two older sister. Some would go as far as call her eccentric or hyperactive. Her clothing of choice would be a clue.

Teara entered a second later, wearing normal jeans and a black hoodie. Of the three sister, she was probably the laid-back one, to the brink of being extremely awkward. Though, in this family, normal wasn’t the norm in the first place.

“I was delighted when he gave me that, ya know!” Valahia said, continuing their conversation. “I couldn’t wait to stab it into his gut and turn it around, feeling his flesh get stuck on its sharp edge... Then that damn bus had to get into his way. Aww, I wanted to stab him~”

“Valahia, for the sake of us all, stop trying to murder people in the middle of the day!” Teara rubbed her temples and sat down on the chair to the right of her older sister. “Sis, talk some sense into her...”

“Sense, sense, sense. It’s the only thing you go on about!” Valahia said and slumped down on the other chair. Her glasses slid down to the tip of her nose and she pushed them up again with a finger. “Wallachia, where is Kronia?”

“She’s at school. For infiltration purposes.” Wallachia poured up some soup on her plate.

“Ah~ Infiltration, eh?” Valahia licked her lips. “So we might get some schoolboys home for dinner some day... Can’t wait!”

“You and your boys,” Teara mumbled and put meat between two slices of bread.

“Just because you can’t stop staring at that girlfriend of yours... Or feeling her up for that matter.”

A blush attacked Teara’s cheeks and she bit down hard on the bread, keeping quiet.

“Spare the teasing, Valahia. Eat,” Wallachia said and sipped a spoonful of the red liquid.

“Yes, yes~” Valahia picked up her spoon and took a sip herself. “Mmm... This is really good. Tastes somewhat... different than last time.”

“I added a few bits and pieces.” Only a thin smile was on Wallachia’s face and she didn’t say anything else.

“Oho~ Secretive, eh? Let me guess...” Valahia took another spoonful and let it slosh around in her mouth. “Quite fresh... Tastes similar to the marinade on friday’s steak... Ah!”

“Young. Tender,” Teara mumbled and munched on the meat on her bread. “Quite bloody too.”

Valahia almost had a childish smile on her face now. “I know it now~ Though I’m surprised you managed to add it without any of us noticing...”

“I have my ways.” Wallachia broke apart a piece of bread and dipped it in her soup. “I’m the oldest of you after all. I should know these things.”

Valahia snorted. “Tch. Stupid Sis... You need to show us how to do that.”

“If you want to take care of dinner everyday, be my guest,“ Wallachia said and grinned. She chomped down on her bread.

“Ugh...”

“Anyway,” Teara said, eyeing her meat, “where did you get it from? It feels a bit salty...”

“Down at the docks. A seaman I think. He was quite nice when he chatted me up in the bar, though he was very clingy. I took him out for the ‘usual’ and then brought him back.” Wallachia furrowed her eyebrows. “He wasn’t very meaty now that I think about it, but he had that special aroma.”

“Ah. Well, I think it’s delicious. It has the perfect integrity and it’s bloody enough.” Teara took another bite as she said it.

“And this... Virgin, is it not?” Valahia asked, running the spoon in circles in her soup.

“Yup. I picked one up at the board school. Sixteen-ish I think. She was actually harder to get than the other guy. She actually managed to run away from me, the damn athlete. Had to take her out from a distance.”

“Oh~? Sis, are you slacking with your training?”

“No, I’m not. How could I when I got to take care of you two? And don’t get me started on Kronia...”

Valahia chuckled. “My lovely niece~”

“This is?” Teara held up something akin to a bun with a very smooth surface, but with a fleshy appearance.

“The athlete's breasts, with some exotic spices. Quite delicious if I may say so myself.”

Teara took a bite and nodded in agreement. “A bit thick, but good. I like it.”

The clirring of silverware and voices involved in conversations continued through the evening. The three sisters ate and enjoyed the meal to their hearts’ content as the sun outside began to set, painting the sky in a light orange.

In her mind, Wallachia smiled contentedly at the dessert waiting in the kitchen. To think she would have such luck to find two victims that fit her standards so well.

What a grand dessert it would be...

Teara von Abram: The middle sister. Exceptionally laid-back, but bright and alert when she wants to. She rarely teases her sisters or her niece, but instead tend to be the target of it instead, especially when it comes to her girlfriend, Tanya, whom she often brings home.

Her magical aptitude is generally strong, but because of her persona she has rarely used it in combat.

Known Spells
Vampire Desire: Attraction spell. Works on both males and females.

Manipulative Darkness: In combination with Vampire Desire, this basically creates a slave under Teara’s control with little effort. Can also be used solo.


Hidden Spells (Existence known by Wallachia)
Mind within Thought: While not an exact mind-reading spell, Teara can deduct from specific thoughts what her target feels and what it is going to do. She can hence decide what to do based on it. It is not sealed by Wallachia.



Valahia von Abram: The youngest of the three sisters. Hyperactive and a menace to some, she’s still a loved member of the von Abram family. She loves to tease Teara about various things and looks up to Wallachia, albeit with some teasing involved. She’s also very fond of Kronia, her niece AKA Wallachia’s daughter. She also wears glasses due to a birth defect.

Her magic capability is destructive, to say the least. Hence, Wallachia has placed a controllable seal inside her (what or how is unknown) that denies her the true power of her magic. If it was to be set free, she’d become exceptionally violent and reign chaos. Or so she says. She might just be joking around.

Known Spells
Dark Lies: This spell puts the victim under the illusion that everything Valahia says is true. While this is similar to Teara’s Manipulative Darkness, it doesn’t create a complete slave. It’s less obvious, yet still powerful if applied correctly.

Shadow Runner: Utilizing shadows, she becomes invisible to human sight if she activates this spell.


Hidden Spells (Existence known by Wallachia)
Soul of Blood: Unleashes an extreme thirst for blood, driving her into a frenzy. Sealed for the time being.

Hm, interesting. So Alicia wants the Jewel Seeds to cure Precia of Space AIDS. It works, but I have to wonder about Fate's origins. Was she born normally or did maybe Alicia clone herself so she'd have a magically capable person for the sake of saving her mother?

So in other news it's been rightfully pointed out to me that a reason people aren't interested in my ongoing fics is because I take so long to update them. Fair enough. So I'm going to abandon all my one shot ideas for now and concentrate only on finishing my ongoing stuff. Since I've proven incapable of just picking specific things to concentrate on because my interest is all over the place (unless I have a deadline like Location of Happiness), I'm going to leave it up to you guys.

The first person who replies to this post will get choose which fic I will focus on. They just have to name one of my fics and that'll be the one I work on first.

The second person who replies will get to name the fic I work on in between chapters of the first one. I'll do a chapter of fic A, then a chapter of fic B, then a chapter of fic A, and so on. This way I can change things up while also leaving some time between chapters for comments, editing, etc.

I'll do my best to stick to this, giving writing priority over all else no matter how lazy or exhausted I am (thankfully I only have a week of work left).
