I'm not going to lie, this is really freaking me out. The fact that when I first read this manga they were only first year high school students and now they're in Uni is really weird. They grew up right in front of me yet they look the same.

lol, a lot of people are raging on the Asian forums, accusing Yui of "cheating" on Azunyan. I personally find the new girl cute. She's the closest thing to a tsundere we have on K-On! so far...we even got a "I'll never accept you!" line.

Akira cleaned up nice and petty by the time they got to going to bed at the dorm. That and her crying and embarassment set off Yui's hug button. Seems Yoshida is a little like Ritsu in being amused by these things. Can't tell what Hayashi is yet as I don't think she had even one line.

Akira seems like she'll be the source of some amusement for a little while as she tries to deny the situation.

We'll see what Azusa, Ui, and Jun have to deal with for their last year of high school soon enough

Nah, the title is K-On! and this chapter is the re-start of it. I guess you can say it's not a "new" K-On! manga as such, more like the existing K-On manga starting back up again after a long break.

Awesome, I didn't expect to see K-on when I went to check on my daily manga chapters at the sites, but when I did, I nearly cried out loud.

I had hope it would be back, it was slim, and I was in denial that it would be, but it actually came back, K-on came back, and now because of this.........

Well, there's this club president Yoshii whom we haven't seen yet, so there should be at least 8 members.

I hazard to guess that the University Light Music Club will be running two, maybe even three different bands at the same time.

Wait a minute, did that flyer say that 'beginners are very welcome'? The club president must be really that desperate to keep the club intact, kinda like what would have happened to Azu-nyan had Ui and Jun not joined.

Well the eariler K-On became a nine girl cast with Yui, Ui, Mio, Ritsu, Mugi, Nodoka, Sawako, Asuza and finally Jun.

The continuing version will probably be around that many regulars in each cast. You have Yui, Mio, Ritsu, and Mugi joined so far by Akira, Yoshida, and Hayashi. The club's president Yoshii will likely join next time. There is room with Sokabe as the ninth...Mio's biggest fangirl.

What we will find out soon who joins Asuza, Ui, Jun, and Sawako.
Only Nodoka is more or less out of the picture.

I don't really know about Japan and other countries, but in here, we have an official "jacket" for formal occasions. So yeah, it's some kind of uniform of the university.

Formal attire for ceremonies I would not think is out of custom. And Japan Woman's University is a private school.
