This would explain why Shinji likes Orihime when they first met at school. Kirio Hikifune looks like a cross between Orihime and Rangiku. More like a grown-up Orihime with Rangiku's body type. Of course, she has this habit of cooking weird things like the bugs Renji mentions which reminds me of Orihime.

Nice connection! I'd totally forgotten about that. Orihime is a cutie in her own right, but if Hirako had a previous thing for Hikifune that could definitely explain a few things.

Okay, one of the remaining 2 people has to be the inventor of kido (which is interesting cause Ichigo has no idea how to use it.)

What is the other big thing of the manga that is used which could have been invented? I honestly cannot think of much other than bankai which would be more inline of the guy who invented the zanpakutou.

my guess would be that the big dude invented kidou, which would leave the scientist chick. maybe she's the IT manager and installed all the computers for squad 12?

She probably created the Senkaimon or the method of sending human souls to Soul Society

Reiatsu? nah, everyone from Bleach universe probably had it from the very start.

Hmmm, how about the location, examination, domestication, and use of the Hell Butterfly. I means, those things escort konso'ed souls to Soul Society, Shinigami to and from there through authorized gates, and take messages while within Soul Society. Seems like a very well used, very common Shinigami thing... but you have to know what you are doing!

When I heard that he got married, the first thing that popped to my mind was, hmm, he has a manga full of mostly massively busty women, ah, he married a top heavy AV idol.
