That's not that farfetched, although he'd look like someone straight from the Nasuverse if that would happen.

Also, I just browsed through the Index Wiki and it brought me to Volume 02, which is interesting in more ways than one.

We already found out about Mark's magic in one of the SS's, Stiyl SS I believe? He uses tarot card magic.

I didn't really see the Aurelous thing, but in hindsight it makes sense, though I can't imagine Touma doing anything like what Aurelous did.

As for Himegami, she became even mmore like Sacchin, huh? Poor, poor soul...

During his Side Story, he's been shown to use Thoth Tarot cards to use wind magic by utilizing the minor sword cards, which are said to represent air.

-Touma's worried about meeting with other people after being gone for a while. Shiage's answer: get drunk and it'll all be alright.
-Which leads to him running into Mikoto when he's drunk. And also Komoe, Himegami and a lot of others before he got back to his dorm and meet up with Index.
Shiage seems to have gotten in deep S@#% for suggesting that to Touma.

-Tsuchimikado talks with Accel about Freshman.

-List of girls who showed up to the party: Mikoto, Komoe, Kumokawa Seria, Fukiyose, Musujime Awaki, Kazakiri Hyouka, and Maika; they were all eventually persuaded to leave by Bardway's underlings eventually.

-Kaori is launched via a Rocket onto Radiosonde Castle. She fought a magician who modified his own body, and uses Thor's hammer. With one blow by the hammer a third of the (20km diameter) castle will be destroyed. However the hammer cannot work on something not flying so Kaori blew the castle up with St. Peter's spell. That lead to the castle's 2nd plan, dropping down onto Touma and kill him.

-Crisis was averted by Touma, Shiage and Accel working together to destroy the beacons in Academy City locking the Castle's descent onto them, and the castle crashed into the ocean.

-The ones behind all this calls themsleves 'CRIMSON'.

-Next volume's in Hawaii, and Mikoto will have some sort of major role in it.

-The volume seems to end with Mikoto telling Touma he never have to be alone anymore, and she'll be with him no matter what happens from now on. (UNCONFIRMED)

Thanks for the new information. Can't wait to be able to read this. Can't wait to see Mikoto's reactions when Touma stumbles up to her drunk. I also look forward to seeing Mikoto playing a bigger role in the next volume.
I'm curious about this 'CRIMSON' group. I wonder what kind of magic they will use.

Since they are going to Hawaii, should we expect an obligatory swimsuit scene?

Cant wait for NT 3, but man is the author going to take a long time to make this novel and it has better be longer then 2, if he need help making a new story arc, he should listen to we the reader, and tell him what new villains to put in
