Umineko music discussion (OP/ED, game soundtracks, dramaCDs etc.)

They tend to release the preview 2 weeks before comiket, which means a trailer will hopefully be out sometime this week.

As I've never really looked into Umineko's soundtracks before, I'm a little confused...

There were two "music box" releases for before this, right? Blue and red? Are they still available anywhere?

And, compared to the other two releases, what exactly does this new one contain- it appears to be split up by artist, but does that mean that this has mostly music from 5-8? At that price I'll probably grab it just to get some music from Umineko (since it's always been very good on average), but I'd like to know what I'd be getting.

Sorry if I'm asking a bit much...

There were 3 music boxes released prior this one:
-Musicbox Red (zts) and Musicbox Blue (Dai & other composers) were released on C76
-Musicbox Kiri no Pithos (dai & circletempo) was released on C78

They are still available but only with japan only shops, such like toranoana (I've yet find any shop that ships internationally doujin CD so...)

Xwerk is only focused on Xaki's tracks, and while it is mostly from 5-8, there are tracks from 1-4 and of course, exclusive tracks as well.

Stupid and semi-on-topic question, but I'm trying to edit a video and I'm looking for the blue text sound effect...I can't for the life of me find it in the SE folder after listening to them all more than once. It might just be a case of my ears not picking it up 'out of context', but can anyone give me a filename? It'd be a big help.

I like the new song more then the anime, but the one thing bugging me is.
Why is Jessica saying stuff that wasn't around? From the bits of Engrish it sounded like she said Nico nico, Pokerface and a few other things.

The blue text, unlike red, doesn't have a proper sound. Several different sound effects are used depending on the situation. Which one are you looking for?
Maybe you can find a video or you can tell me the specific place where it's used, then I'll be able to tell you which sound that is.

Well, "niconico" and "pokerface" are both things that existed in the '80s. They just weren't a website and a pop song at the time.
