I'm guessing that Morosawa should already be (physically) recovered from her cancer at that point, but what about mentally or emotionally?

This explains why Kira was given the Jesus push in Destiny, as well as why Lacus had no flaws whatsoever. The Sunrise beancounters very much takes the character polls seriously.

I've been wondering if Fukuda wants to turn Kira and Lacus heel? Fukuda once said that Kira was "straying from the path of justice".

I'm prolly guessing that the scenario for the SEED movie would be Kira and Lacus (representing ZAFT) vs. Athrun and Cagalli (representing Orb), with Shinn being a third neutral party.

I don't see how that would follow Destiny's SE where Shinn is still with ZAFT. And besides, I don't think they should try to put Kira and Athrun on opposing sides for a movie. They would have to spend some time to explain it.

good grief till now yet this is 2011 already really do we need to go to sunrise hq & go NEXUS on it for GS movie?

really cause i'm so might want to do that ask for GS movie & even drag them out for a 3rd GS series.

If I were in charge a remake like they did with Fullmetal would be a favourite pick. Destiny started out so good and whilst I don´t approve 100% with the portrayal of Kira in Destiny (Kira in SEED is my favourite character of all genre and media - I´m such a sucker for SEED. I rewatch it atleast once every year) I do think the portrayal of him holds potential. Actually almost every single one of the main(ish) character in Destiny. Kira, Athrun, Shinn and Rey are interesting in themselves, they were just poorly executed (no pun intended) by Fukuda & co.

(Ironically enough I actually liked the first version of FMA better...)

The quote about Kira straying from justice wasn´t that about the middle section of Destiny that ultimately lead to the demise of Freedom? But after a push from Athrun (remember the return of Strike?) - Kira was once again on the right track.

wo gundam seed destiny is fine imo i like the new musics and the mecha fights are more better than gundam seed, but ye story wise gundam seed is still better though

and whats the news on the third gundam seed? and im wondering the director of gundam seed and gundam seed destiny will direct the next gundam seed right? and that this director is actually sick so why cannot they just place another director? correct me if im wrong on whatever i heard wrong

I haven't finished both of the SEED series and probably never will. But I have seen the majority of the action scenes, and I will say, they're good.

I love the whole gigantic armies facing off type of fights, especially at the Battle of Orb, and the Battle at Berlin. So, I give SEED props to good battles.

Minus when the Freedom/Strike comes in.

And it's also rumored that SEED's VAs refused to work with Fukuda/Morosawa after how they treated Naomi Shindou and now, Maaya Sakamoto during the recordings. This was confirmed by Shinn's VA (don't know his name). This also more or less explains why Rie admitted that Lacus was the hardest role she played so far.

I'm currently thinking on why everyone made a big deal out of Lunamaria missing Djibril's shuttle in an episode of GSD.

Here's why I think you can't blame her for that:

She was already established as a poor shot in Phase 7
Char missed Jamitov's shuttle in episode 36 of ZG; it was also bigger than Djibril's shuttle
Djibril's shuttle was equipped w/ a Mass Driver (making it faster), while Jamitov's shuttle was a regular one

Was Luna more of a melee-type pilot in the series?
