Pretty decent start for the anime. Animation was vibrant and lively which turned out much better than what I expected. As a fan of the manga, I felt like certain scenes could been portrayed better. Other than that, it was pretty faithful to the first chapter.
O yea, it was also fun to hear Hanazawa go crazy with her voice.

Got curious, having noticed that it was the first episode (worth giving it a go - this is the 2nd anime I've done that for, and I've now picked up both! )
This one had me at the OP. So damn catchy (I really hope the single has an instrumental...I'd love to let rip with a cover )! The first episode itself was rather funny - seems the two main characters have such a bizarre chemistry (one being a pompous socialite and the other being deadpan to the point where it's amusing) that makes it so bloody hilarious Odd premise, but I'll admit that I've watched anime that have had weirder premises than this (Baka to Test comes to mind ) Definitely glad I picked this up |

Seriously, the art is great and it's really funny for what it's holding itself out to be i.e. a comedy soley for the lols. This ain't no Fate/Zero. |

The animation was ok, however for me the plot device and characters are what caught my interest.
The first episode was rather entertaining as it seems Sakura and Miss Binbo will have seriously fun conflicts in the future.

I was planning to read the manga a few months ago, but notice a anime adaptation was coming, so I waited and it didn't disappoint. Very hilariousness episode and it was great it wasn't aother all-girl or harem show.
Reminds me alot of Doramon... lol

Maybe this season's Haiyore!? I laughed often enough, some of the metahumor was spot-on, and the two leads are obviously excellent (especially Uchiyama-san). I don't know how well it'll hold up over a full cour, though.

Can't help but notice the similarities to Gintama when watching the episode.
The tsukkomis, the nose picking, the references, the screaming, the snide trickery, it's like Gintama but with Hanazawa Kana as lead, which means, it was awesome. It's funny how, if you include this one, there's THREE that are airing this current season. (This, Joshiraku and Yuru Yuri) |

Yuru Yuri can get slapsticky if it needs to. The first episode of ♪♪ had more than a few gags involving smacking people with ping pong balls and/or racquets. (I do want to post in this thread on the actual series, just waiting for Funi to get their subs up.)
