King Giga Drill Breaker was beautiful.

Boota's Spiral Tail proved to be the key to achieving full power.

My jaw was literally dropping during CGGL's formation. The sounds of holy chords combined with "fight da powa!" make for something that is GAR to another level. I cannot WAIT to see it fight next week.

That Super Galactic Gurren-Lagann scene was a huge disappointment, though. I'm sounding like a parrot, but Simon's getting less awesome episode per episode. Now he's stuck in that horrible rusty voice whenever he used to say "GIGA DRILL BREAK" as a child, his new look is blagh, and his mech doesn't look that cool either.

Kittan, though...man, that guy is KING. The music during his scene was pretty bad, though. I kind of wish they didn't use the "Roh Roh" during it. =/

I feel like tearing up. ;_;

Also, Gunbuster and Getter Robo references! Ryoma (Kittan) and Gunbuster (Super Galactic Gurren-Lagann) specifically.

Pacing seems weird, will there be time for conquest of the Anti-Spiral homeworld? Seems like we're heading for a LOL GAINAX ending afterall. :|

Oh, I'm sure of that. Episodes 24-25 were for sure near episode 15 and episode 26 looks set to outdone everything before in the show but that's still not "HOLY CRAP THIS LOOKS LIKE FLCL'S BUDGET CONDENSED" stuff.

Not to mention Kittan just screamed "Ryoma" during the final parts, be it the spiral-ish eyes (( evolution power similar to Getter Rays )), along with the half-crazed look.

Edit : Aside from the awesome animation and KING, I've gotta add that the music direction for most parts, were pretty awesome. Aside from the first part with Kittan/Yoko where the first Row Row started, everything else was probably musically perfect. The parts where the vocals were there was like... totally fitting, not to mention the Chou Ginga scene.
