Besides, in most social situations, I'm cool with them (gays), especially the one working in our business. They respect me, I respect them. Simple as that.

Gays...

Seriously, this is still a big issue there in America? No wonder you're living in interesting times.

It's the age of postgenderism!

There was a similar case in Japan too, right? This is why they call yaoi BL, because the use of the word "yaoi" were banned. Or something like that...

Man arrested for releasing worms on train to scare women
A JAPANESE man has been arrested for releasing hundreds of beetle larvae inside a moving express train to try to scare female passengers, police say.

"I wanted to see women get scared and shake their legs,'' police quoted 35-year-old Manabu Mizuta as saying.

Turtle's last stand
Quote:
Hong Kong (26 Nov, 2008): For decades, turtles have been killed and eaten by the Chinese who believe in their medicinal properties. But on Monday (Nov 24), one turtle tried to change its fate.

The wattle-necked, soft-shelled turtle, measuring about 60cm (2ft), bit a chef assistant's foot, in a bid to escape the cooking pot in a Hong Kong restaurant. The chef assistant, a 35-year-old man surnamed Liang, ended up in hospital with his little toe bitten off.

Mr Liang, who had been wearing slippers, moved near the turtle - which had been placed on the floor inside a makeshift cage of pails and boards - when he suddenly felt a sharp pain on his right foot.

He shouted in shock and saw that it had bitten his toe.

He tried to pull his foot out of the turtle's mouth but it got worse. The turtle refused to budge. So Mr Liang used more force - in the end, something's got to give.

By the time his colleagues rushed to his help, his little toe had already been bitten off in a bloody mess.

After the incident, the restaurant added a cautionary sign on the boards of the makeshift cage that read: "Do not touch or your fingers might be bitten off. Beware of fierce turtles."

As for the turtle, it couldn't escape its fate.

The restaurant owner said it will be cooked and served tomorrow (Nov 27) in a turtle-and-snake tonic soup.

Talking Men’s Brassieres Top Sellers (Only in Jp)

Quote:

The latest hot product on online mall Rakuten, in fact now in the top ranking for male underwear, is the brassiere for men; the seller’s copy is instructive:

“It started with a customer’s remark: “Why aren’t there any bras for men?” Why? Because they are not necessary? But there are people who want them, so in fact they are necessary.Men’s bodies are different from those of women, so a rethinking was required. Materials, design, and even the feeling… Of course, there’s no need, but… It’s gentle and relaxing; those feelings should be important.

Quote:
“But I’m a man!” Even with someone like you, we’d like for you to experience that gentleness.

Point 1:Choice of materials.
We’ve selected the same material used in men’s shorts. Soft and stretchable, a good fit is assured.

Point 2: Freedom of fit.
We’ve employed the “spectacles” design of bra front. The bra can freely move with your chest. Also, you can freely adjust the position of the bra.

Point 3: Relaxation.
Unlike ladies’ brassieres, the straps are soft and gentle. Rather than a “bust up” effect, we stress relaxation.

Point 4: Adjustable volume.
There’s an internal pocket for padding! If you need more volume, just slip in a pad!

With this, you can experience “men’s love”. Men want to experience the feelings of women! Your body is that of a man, but you feel like a boy maiden! You want to experience those soothing feelings♪ You need chest support! They might be all sorts of reasons, but gentleness is what you desire most.”

Quote:
The bras in question are ¥3,000, and available in three suitably effete colours. Men larger than a A-cup look to be ill served, however. If you need such apparel, as they seem to assure you that you do, Wish Room’s Rakuten store awaits. They also have a line of improbably skimpy underwear, presumably also of interest to their customer base. Can anyone really fit into these? Perhaps is it just their customers who can…At any rate, they are selling well, with the products making it into the sales charts for male underwear:

Yes, cause all the western men in Japan were feeling conscious about their saggin or heavy chests and needed the support to keep them perky. -.-
(doubt it'll sell well in the long run)

Actor robots, read this elsewhere a week ago.. Looks cool.. Or rather to say, I admire the one who created it. That person or group are very intelligent. As for the design itself, it doesn't look very nice, but its capability is pretty good. (^_^)

^ I think it's brilliant idea.

The whole point of having a Bible is for people to read it. If glossy pictures would attract more readers, then why not?

Soya beans that produce less fart
Quote:
Singapore (Nov 26, 2008): Love to consume soy yogurt, but embarrassed about the intestinal gas it can induce?

Fret no more: Researchers from the department of chemistry in the National University of Singapore have found a way to process soy yogurt that reduces a side effect previously associated with it.

Soy yogurt’s high carbohydrate content can cause intestinal gas, or flatulence. Under the researchers’ new method, the soya beans are soaked, injected with fungus and left to germinate for three days before the usual culturing process.

The germination process helps to cut the carbohydrate level in the soya beans. Assistant Professor Huang Dejian, principal investigator for the project, explained: "When we germinate the soya beans, the flatulence-producing carbohydrates are utilised as energy for the seeds’ germination."

His team hopes to conduct more studies to optimise the flavour of soy yogurt.

You do realize some people may not like it for they see this as an insult, making cheap cash outta the bible, disrespectful or other negative reasons. Go back to that link & read some of the comments left by readers.

Then again, most people do promote their religion in various medias like CD's, books, the internet and even video games and rap with varying degrees of success.

It won't make me read it and honestly I know plenty of people will be offended by for multitudes of reasons. Most things don't come without criticsm.

I got a laugh out of the whole Lego Brick Testament.
