Koji fell asleep the moment he went to bed, not surprising, after all the events of that day.
The following morning...
Nothing nor no one woke him up, he simply opened his eyes reached out to grab Air and see the time, 8:37 AM.
He frowned, "Just a bit longer..." He put Air back where it was and flipped to the other side.
"Mmm...." Koji mumbled as a fragrance tickled his nose, "Smells good..." He commented, still with his eyes closed.
Then...
"U-uh..." He opened his eyes as he realized he had company. "M-M-Ma-" He stuttered.
Maren was peacefully sleeping right next to him, wearing nothing more than her nightgown.
"Maren?" He jumped surprised, pulling the sheets with him and uncovering her further.
And even though he shouted, she was still sound asleep.
He turned red as he saw her like that, but then noticed her hand, holding the ribbon he gave her that day.
He sighed (Can't be helped...) and smiled at her.
Grabbing the sheets he slowly covered her, Maren changed her sleeping position and even though he shouldn't, Koji's gaze drifted down to her cleavage.
His eye twitched at the rare sight, "T-They're bigger than they look when she's in uniform..."
As he 'contemplated' them, he noticed something in between, "...Eh? What's that?" He blinked.
(Maren is still asleep, it wouldn't hurt to take a quick peek, right?) He asked himself.
He was about to lean over when he had seconds thoughts about it, (Wait...Even though she's asleep, I can't just invade her privacy.)
(...But she does trust me...then again, doing this would be betraying her trust.) He kept pondering.
(Waaaaah! What do to? Should I or shouldn't I?) He shouted mentally, with his hands on his head.
"ano...Koji-sama...is something wrong?" Maren asked.
"Eh?" He blinked, and looked at her, she was awake.
Covering her chest area with the sheets, she looked at him, "Is something bothering you?" She blinked.
"Ah...well..." He looked around, scratching his cheek, "I was wondering why you're here..."
"I see..." She blinked. "When I got to my room, Yui was already there sleeping."
"And you didn't want to disturb her sleep?" He asked.
Maren nodded, "I grabbed a change of clothes and came here."
"But I was already asleep when you got here..."
She nodded again.
Koji sighed. "Listen Maren, we're not ma-" He turned red as he realized the word he was about to say.
Maren blinked, "Koji-sama?"
"Ah...N-Nothing!" He got off the bed, put on some clothes and said, "I'll go wash up...see ya!" And left the room.
"O...kay..." She was still surprised as she saw him leave.

Koji was in the closest bathroom, wildly washing his face, "What's wrong with me? I froze just by thinking about that word..."
He looked at himself reflected in the mirror, with strings of water running down his face.
"...'married yet'." He finished the sentence.
He flushed again, "Waahhh, mou!" and washed his face again.

Having 'cooled off' Koji met up with Maren, who picked up Treize from Caro's room and went to the cafeteria.
As they entered, Yui spotted them and, while waving, called them.
"Onii-chan~ Here~" She shouted with her usual cheerful demeanor.
Koji waved back at her and they went to her table.
"Good morning, Yui." Koji greeted Yui as they walked to her.
"Good mo--are? Onii-chan, who's that?" Yui tilted to the side to get a better look at the black haired figure behind Koji.
"Ah, that's right, you haven't met her yet...This is Treize, she'll be staying with us for a while." Koji stepped aside.
Treize looked at Yui, and did nothing.
"Treize, why don't introduce yourself to Yui?." Maren suggested.
Treize nodded, turned to Yui, "Treize...yoroshiku" and gently bowed.
"She's so cute~" She let out, "I'm Yui, but you can call me Onee-chan~" She smiled.
Treize blinked, tilted her head and replied, "...Onee-chan?"
"KYA~" Yui suddenly hugs her, "Kawaii~~" She squealed as their cheeks rubbed against each other.
As for Treize, she had her usual expression.
"Onii-chan, can I keep her?" She said ecstatically.
"Ahahaha..." Koji tittered, "Already getting along this well." Koji turned to Maren.
"Maybe a little to well..." Maren said as she sweatdropped.
"Eh?" Koji then turned to Yui and Treize.
"Trei-chan, do Onee-chan a favor and wear this~" Yui said as she presented Treize with an 'attire'
"Sukuurumizu???!" Koji shouted. (W-Where did she get it from anyway?) His eye twitched.

Personality: One of the colder members of the Espada, primarily due to what happened in her past- as a result, she bears a professional demeanor in battle, to mask the disgrace that she bears and to conceal it from others, even from herself some suspect, yet despite her persona she has a tendency to fight with reckless abandon. Her attitude also tends to clash with those of Zangetsu and Friagne, two of the more arrogant members of the group. She has something of a sibling-like relationship with Setsuna, albeit distant, and has mutual respect for Arleri, looking up to him in a sense since he brought her into the flock, so to speak. She also holds courteous respect towards Kuma, but isn’t exactly fond of his cynicism.
Biography:
In her past life, Xochitl was once known as a Flame Haze, a being devoted to hunting the people known as the “Denizens of the Crimson Realm” and their servants, known as “Rinne”.
Back then she was known only as ‘Shana’, a name given to her by one Yuji Sakai, her charge and, eventually, her love. The redhead showed a lack of care towards the boy on their first meeting, dismissing him as a simple ‘Torch’, but over time, the bond between the two strengthened. Indeed, whilst Yuji was nowhere near as proficient as she was in battle, Sakai became something of a beacon of strength for the girl in times of need.
Together, and with the aid of others, the pair defeated the Bal Masque for the first time, even though she risked her life greatly at the conflict’s end, and averted total chaos in the process. Shana and Yuji became a close couple after this, but it wouldn’t be too long before a new threat revealed itself.
This new evil manifested itself in the form of new Tomogara, alongside the now-recovered Bal Masque. Alongside old allies, Yuji and Shana battled as a duo once more, Alastor by their side, so to speak, to combat said threat and quell the rising tide.
Valiant as their efforts were, loss and horror befell the Flame Haze in a certain confrontation with a certain member of the Masque- “The General”, otherwise known as Sydonay or “Thousand Change”, his moniker. Supported by Margery Daw along with the Crimson Lord Marchosias, she and the boy faced off against the Denizen.
Outnumbered as he was, Sydonay demonstrated his prowess as a member of the Bal Masque by holding off the combined group, using his shape-shifting abilities as a helpful bonus. With Daw knocked out and Shana weary after a lengthy struggle, Sydonay saw the opportunity to end the scuffle in an instant.
In one swift motion, however, Yuji, sensing the impending strike, rushed ahead and took the blow. Surprised but otherwise unshaken, the “General” took the chance to extract the Reiji Maigo, the very object that kept Yuji existing amongst the other “Torches”, from inside Sakai’s body.
Seeing Yuji’s lifeless form with the Denizen gloating over his ill-gotten gains, she snapped, flying into a fit of bestial rage and attacking the man with all the strength she could muster up, oblivious to what damage she took. The end result was Sydonay being incinerated and the Maigo being destroyed along with him.
After this, Shana’s performance slumped drastically, her inner self being riddled with sorrow and guilt. Time and time again she failed in battle, losing her focus consistently and, despite the efforts of Wilhelmina, Margery and others, she was unable to have her loss alleviated.
A consistent string of failures led to her being the first Flame Haze to lose her position, and Alastor left her in the process, with her only possession left being the Nietono no Shana after having wound up in a clearing in the middle of a forest under mysterious circumstances.
Living as a nomad, it wasn’t until later on in life that she came across one Aaroniero Arleri, the leader of the group known as the Espada. The encounter resulted up in the following confrontation:

The rain fell from the sky heavily, coating the trudging girl who was indifferent to it all, her once proud coat becoming frayed, her clothes soiled and worn.
Her eyes were dull and dark, from days and nights without sleep, and her stomach had ceased crying out, for it knew it would not be fed.
She just kept walking, not sure what she was waiting for, willing her entire body to be stilled for. Gray buildings about her ignoring the lone figure in the street, walking on gray cobblestone under gray sky.
The building in front of her exploded. Her head jerked up in shock. Battle instincts filled her, with only one thing yelling to her:
Guze? Is it Guze again? Where's the Fuzetsu, then?
She reached into her coat, regardless, and unveiled her longsword, Nietono no Shana, tired and useless as it was, and rushed towards the hole in the side of the structure ahead.
Two white beings emerged, one tall, clad in robes and a bizarre towering mask with eight eyeholes. Another with white wings, obviously female, though the angry, scared, and broken mask that was supposed to depict a Tengu made it hard to be sure. Under the woman's arm was a black case.
“Is the Relic sealed and secured, Setsuna?”
“I hope so, Aaroniero. Though perhaps it would be safer to bring it to Friagne first. I admit, Midchilda is a surer technique than Engrajei.”
“Truth is spoken.”
As they stepped free of the rubble under their feet and onto the street, they stopped at the sight of a smallish woman in black, pointing a blade at them with two hands.
“You two... what are you two? Rinne? Tomogara?” She snarled. Aaroniero looked to Setsuna for explanation.
“They are creatures that consume existence, Aaroniero Arleri. Very much mindless monsters.”
“We see.”
Her eyes darkened with rage that did not become her in days before, and screamed, charging towards them with the Shana, “Don't ignore me!”
Aaroniero moved past Setsuna slightly to raise a rosary-wrapped hand.
“Glotonería.”
The white beads on the rosary glowed for a second, before a burst of magic knocked away the sword about to cleave through Aaroniero's hand with enough force that it and the girl attached to it went away with her crying and rolling across the ground, until the black clad warrior stopped on one knee, blade held behind her at the ready.
Aaroniero Arleri lowered his hand, while Setsuna snorted, “We should dispatch her right now.”
“No, Setsuna Alablanca. Your concern is the Relic. Take it back to Friagne. We wish to observe her a little longer. This may be interesting.”
Setsuna's posture deflated slightly at the sound of what her comrade said, but nonetheless did not argue.
“If that's what you wish.”
With that, the wings on Setsuna's back stretched out, and she took to the air with a the speed of a rocket and the agile grace of any bird of prey.
The girl roared and charged across the streets, rain hitting her face and wet shoes slopping across the soaked cobblestones.
“You're not going anywhere!”
Aaroniero Arleri took in the oncoming sight through his blank eye holes. Slowly raising the rosary again, he spoke to it.
“Feast and be Hungry, Glotonería.”
“VIVO, REY.”
She didn't care if the rosary turned into a spear, she was going to crush the two of them into the earth. She cleaved down at Aaroniero, his hungry lance simply knocking the Shana aside. Spinning around, she used the energy of the deflection simply to slice at her opponent's belly.
Aaroniero Arleri leapt into the air, and stayed. She gaped for several second. Setsuna was explainable, she had wings, but this one simply stood in the air like it was solid.
“H-how...”
“Why did you decide to combat us? Our concerns did not relate to yours, as far as we know.”
She snarled again, “Shut up!”
Though she had no power to be given to her any more, she was more than capable of leaping high through the air to meet her blade against the solid pole of Aaroniero's spear. The white mask took the blow with interest.
“This strength... was once refined. This blade should be hot.”
“SHUT UP!”
She threw her entire weight into the locked blades, causing Aaroniero Arleri to slide back through the air, while she dropped back to the earth. She bared her teeth mindlessly, full of unplaced anger. A foul beast in black hating the floating being in white high above it, rain pouring on both.
“We have seen that look many times. Full of despair and rage, lacking sleep and water and food, punishing itself for losing its way. Like Setsuna. Like Kuma.”
“Shut up... Shut up! SHUT UP! I'M NOTHING LIKE YOU MONSTERS!”
She blurred through the air, water flying off her face as she screamed. Aaroniero pointed his spear at her.
“FLECHA MAJESTUOSA.”
White blades of light crashed into her, who could not react in time. She screamed, body and clothes torn as she smashed into the ground below. Aaroniero lowered to the ground.
“We are a warrior. Warriors destroy with purpose, die with purpose. Monsters simply roam about, uncaring and unsure of its past or future, and destroys and dies without any meaning or thought.”
Everything hurt, inside and out, as she gathered herself up as best she could, leaning on the Shana with one hand, the other bleeding profusely. Wounds cut the outside, words stung the inside.
“Setsuna Alablanca and I came to this world to collect a powerful artifact that may one day write destiny for us. The two of us were willing to fight and die for it. You simply appeared on the streets, angry and accusing with no reason or logic. We are assured to say that we are warriors... you were a warrior, now simply a beast.”
“Shut... up... you don't know... anything.”
“We have seen worlds rise and fall for many years, people born, people dead. We believe we know more than enough. You however, simply do little more than deny with a curse. How much do you know of the world? Of even yourself?”
The last straw. Her eyes widened, and she screamed one last time, charging across the ground to run Aaroniero Arleri through. He lifted his spear horizontally to defend himself, Shana skittering across the metal of Glotonería and upwards to copy Aaroniero's rising arm. Her armed raised, she looked in shock as the white being simply cocked his free fist back, and drove it full force into the side of her face.
She screamed, rolling across the streets for meters, her head lolling, bruises collecting, her weakened hand leaving her only weapon clanging onto the street behind her.
She stopped. She shivered as she tried to get up and fight. She couldn't get herself to respond, other than to roll over, moaning, one eye threatening to close as she watched with blurred vision something white walk down the street. Its foot kicked up the Nietono no Shana into its hand, and walked, armed on both limbs.

His body shadowed her, tall mask covering the rain from her face, while she could only look up with exhausted contempt. Her own sword held at the nape of her neck.
“You have lost something, haven't you?”
She choked, trying to refuse. It was enough of an answer.
“What you have lost, cannot be regained. Your path is lost forever.”
“...R-really...?” She whimpered. It felt too true.
“That is, if the world that you live in, continues as it is. We, if you wish, may offer you a war to decide a new path for yourself.”
He dropped the sword by her head. She failed to notice, as she watched Aaroniero Arleri.
“There are many paths to freedom from your bondage. We offer the path of a warrior, to rise from your loneliness and pointlessness, to help us find a war that will never end, and free yourself of the burden this current universe of ignorance and sloth imposes upon you. Will you join us? Become a sword in search of battle, once more? Will you join the Espada?”
“Y-yes... Yes!”
She held out her shaking hand, waiting to be grasped. She had nothing left. She was nothing left. She would always be nothing. But at least... let her stand up again, one last time...
Aaroniero Arleri's white hand held her hand, and he pulled her up.

Having accepted Arleri's offer, she was transferred into the Espada, and earned a new name soon after:
Xochitl Quixote.
Only one problem still remained, and that was dealing with her lack of powers. Yearning to have wings again, she eventually received a device that gave her just that, and much more- Rocinante.
Spoiler for Rocinante:
General Appearance:
Rocinante takes the form of a highly unique kind of device- a combat glider, jet-propelled, able to go at a maximum speed of 90 miles per hour. This device has performed admirably under Xochitl, acting as a perfect substitute for her now-gone flight abilities.
However, flight is not the only plus Rocinante has. As with all devices, it has spells- following the Engrajei system, they are focused on all-out assault rather than defense.
The way Rocinante uses its attacks is by the usage of armaments placed on "magic hardpoints" positioned in places on its underside. How each weapon is shifted during battle is somewhat similar to how Eisen switches through its forms, in terms of transformation method- the current weapon in usage undergoes a shift, and the new weapon or set of weapons is called up to replace it.
Xochitl stays on the rider in mid-flight by standing on a pair of darkened circles on the top of the device that act as a kind of magnet/suction method, of sorts. The glider is moved primarily by Xochitl shifting her body in order to steer it.
The attacks the device has are as follows:
Picaflor (Hummingbird): A weapon that somewhat resembles the underside of a ball turret. A general-duty machine gun, its power increases as further gears are released, and it undergoes further shifting as barrels are added.
Vibora (Viper): A weapon taking the form of rocket pods, similar to those used by AH-64 Longbow helicopters. Used for rapid attack duties, the potency of the rocket strikes increase as gears are released, and their salvos also increase in number.
Grifo (Griffin): A set of micro-missiles housed in underside launchers, these have the ability to lock on to a variety of targets. The effects that happen to Grifo when gears are released are generally similar to those of Vibora- however, the former is far more potent than the latter, even if it is launched in far lesser numbers.
Cucahracha (Cockroach): Whilst this skill is named in a singular fashion, it actually takes the form of four flying guns similar to the Gun Slave units on the Werkbau. Using thrusters, they can attack their targets from practically all directions using ballsitic rounds- indeed, they are pesky, just like the insect of their namesake.
Salamandra (Salamander): Another weapon in Rocinante's arsenal, this takes the form of cluster bombs dropped from small bomblet dispensers. As gears are released, more bomblets are dropped and the explosive power increases considerably.
Diente de León (Lion's Tooth): The simplest of Rocinante's arsenal, taking the form of a pair of retractable curved claws concealed in the glider's front. This is the only weapon that is non-changeable, hence the only armament that is ever-present, so to speak, and no major changes to it occur when gears are released.
Spoiler for Nietono no Shana:
The only remnant of her former self that Xochitl has, it was practically devoid of power after her fall from grace and during her confrontation with Aaroniero. However, after her becoming an Espada, the blade has, through rather complex adjustments, retained some of its former potency.
It is not used as much as in her past life, since Rocinante is the weapon that she relies on- she does, however, use the sword in tight spaces, when push comes to shove, or when, by any circumstance, Rocinante is rendered unusable. It still has enough energy within it to cleave through many a tough material and leave the place where it struck scorching hot.
Phew...quite a bit here. I took inspiration for some of the things here from a variety of sources...and we can all see who Xochitl once was, yes?
Also, about those magnetic/suction pads, or so, on Rocinante's top- they're placed closer together than those on what it was based off of. The Goblin's squat was just...awkward.

Grabbing the sheets he slowly covered her, Maren changed her sleeping position and even though he shouldn't, Koji's gaze drifted down to her cleavage.
His eye twitched at the rare sight, "T-They're bigger than they look when she's in uniform..."
As he 'contemplated' them, he noticed something in between, "...Eh? What's that?" He blinked.
(Maren is still asleep, it wouldn't hurt to take a quick peek, right?) He asked himself.
He was about to lean over when he had seconds thoughts about it, (Wait...Even though she's asleep, I can't just invade her privacy.)
(...But she does trust me...then again, doing this would be betraying her trust.) He kept pondering.
(Waaaaah! What do to? Should I or shouldn't I?) He shouted mentally, with his hands on his head.
"ano...Koji-sama...is something wrong?" Maren asked.
"Eh?" He blinked, and looked at her, she was awake.
Covering her chest area with the sheets, she looked at him, "Is something bothering you?" She blinked.
"Ah...well..." He looked around, scratching his cheek, "I was wondering why you're here..."
"I see..." She blinked. "When I got to my room, Yui was already there sleeping."
"And you didn't want to disturb her sleep?" He asked.
Maren nodded, "I grabbed a change of clothes and came here."
"But I was already asleep when you got here..."
She nodded again.
Koji sighed. "Listen Maren, we're not ma-" He turned red as he realized the word he was about to say.
Maren blinked, "Koji-sama?"
"Ah...N-Nothing!" He got off the bed, put on some clothes and said, "I'll go wash up...see ya!" And left the room.
"O...kay..." She was still surprised as she saw him leave.

Having 'cooled off' Koji met up with Maren, who picked up Treize from Caro's room and went to the cafeteria.
As they entered, Yui spotted them and, while waving, called them.
"Onii-chan~ Here~" She shouted with her usual cheerful demeanor.
Koji waved back at her and they went to her table.
"Good morning, Yui." Koji greeted Yui as they walked to her.
"Good mo--are? Onii-chan, who's that?" Yui tilted to the side to get a better look at the black haired figure behind Koji.
"Ah, that's right, you haven't met her yet...This is Treize, she'll be staying with us for a while." Koji stepped aside.
Treize looked at Yui, and did nothing.
"Treize, why don't introduce yourself to Yui?." Maren suggested.
Treize nodded, turned to Yui, "Treize...yoroshiku" and gently bowed.
"She's so cute~" She let out, "I'm Yui, but you can call me Onee-chan~" She smiled.
Treize blinked, tilted her head and replied, "...Onee-chan?"
"KYA~" Yui suddenly hugs her, "Kawaii~~" She squealed as their cheeks rubbed against each other.
As for Treize, she had her usual expression.
"Onii-chan, can I keep her?" She said ecstatically.
"Ahahaha..." Koji tittered, "Already getting along this well." Koji turned to Maren.
"Maybe a little to well..." Maren said as she sweatdropped.
"Eh?" Koji then turned to Yui and Treize.
"Trei-chan, do Onee-chan a favor and wear this~" Yui said as she presented Treize with an 'attire'

The only remnant of her former self that Xochitl has, it was practically devoid of power after her fall from grace and during her confrontation with Aaroniero. However, after her becoming an Espada, the blade has, through rather complex adjustments, retained some of its former potency.
It is not used as much as in her past life, since Rocinante is the weapon that she relies on- she does, however, use the sword in tight spaces, when push comes to shove, or when, by any circumstance, Rocinante is rendered unusable. It still has enough energy within it to cleave through many a tough material and leave the place where it struck scorching hot.
Phew...quite a bit here. I took inspiration for some of the things here from a variety of sources...and we can all see who Xochitl once was, yes?
Also, about those magnetic/suction pads, or so, on Rocinante's top- they're placed closer together than those on what it was based off of. The Goblin's squat was just...awkward.

Menclave actually released a v2 patch for 3 TL mistakes, which I didn't really bother to properly check.
