Ah, tis a shame. While I may enjoy indulging myself in alternate-universe RPing on occasion, it seems that this is one dimension that has no room to spare for someone like me. I tend to keep my characters on the "Supporting actor" level of the uberness scale. I always enjoy creating an original hero in an interesting universe, but never one that can tip the balance and steal the spotlight away from the original source material's lead characters. From a glance at Kha's official fanon timeline, it doesn't seem like there's any place for a character who doesn't have three S's to their rank, and anything I came up with would probably be about a AA at the most extreme, which is still unbelievably strong. . . Unless I'm getting the wrong vibe here.

Yup, you're getting the wrong vibe

We may like our overpowered characters, but trust me there's lots of room for reasonably underpowered OC's here. It's not about the character RANK in this case, but character DEVELOPMENT, on how much you can flesh out your character (which is why as you can see, the questionnaire is quite popular). A lot of the main shareholders here may involved themselves deeply into the Fanon/Canon border (Kha, Keroko, Saga, Aurion etc...), but there's place for the little guys, like my own OC's, which stay away from the canon limelight as much as possible, and a lot of the other OC's here.

You don't need overpowered characters or relationships with the canon characters here, just do as you like within reason.

Yeah I’ve got even older examples on my of favorite RPs ever I did in I think it was 2003 and I’ve been writing characters and role-playing on the internet even before that since around 2000 I think. I specifically recall talking about 9/11 when it happened with some other guys in a RP we where doing for instance. So yeah I’ve been at this a while long before coming here and am perhaps a bit of an old hand…

It's depressingly common and the sad fact is that despite this horrid abuse they're often so used to it that they're scared to leave because they don't know what they'll afterwards, if children are involved it's even worse, and if the man actually is supporting the family it's worse still. It's easy to blame the women, but it's rarely so simple domestic abuse is just Pandora's box all around.

Yup, yup I also tend to shy away from the CCs and have interacted with only a few OC and none of my guys really have super powers or anything all of them are pretty much standard mages; although they're also long serving veterans in most cases as well so they're no slouches and one or two are pretty powerful. That said it's not like Nanoha or Fate are "ZMONG we've never seen anyone so strong!!!" either and most of the cannon fodder chumps we see in the TSAB are supposedly like A rank so...

Indeed, I've actually spend quite some time reading here and there before I joined. But it was after I did and found out who were the active ones did the backlog started to become easier.

Ah, tis a shame. While I may enjoy indulging myself in alternate-universe RPing on occasion, it seems that this is one dimension that has no room to spare for someone like me. I tend to keep my characters on the "Supporting actor" level of the uberness scale. I always enjoy creating an original hero in an interesting universe, but never one that can tip the balance and steal the spotlight away from the original source material's lead characters. From a glance at Kha's official fanon timeline, it doesn't seem like there's any place for a character who doesn't have three S's to their rank, and anything I came up with would probably be about a AA at the most extreme, which is still unbelievably strong. . . Unless I'm getting the wrong vibe here.

AA is actually quite normal here since we have more or less characters ranging from B-S+ rank

It was a late night, even on board the TSAB Main Office, located in the sea of dimensions. Still, inside the Infinite Library, a light remains on, and the sound of typing can be heard.

Moving closer, the source of the typing turns out to be a long haired young man. Yuuno Scrya, Chief Librarian of the Infinite Library, was currently finishing his analysis of the data that was send to him by his fellow Scrya’s. Yes, he was tired. Yes, he wanted to go to sleep, but not before he finished this while it was still fresh in his head.

I have finished my analysis of the data that was send to me, and have come to the conclusion that many of the initial thoughts were right. This is indeed a great discovery into the history of Ancient Belka. The documents have been revealed to date back before the fall of the empire, and evidence has been found that proves the destruction of man of the data in the library was intentional. Perhaps this was a library that came under assault, and the caretakers destroyed as much data as they could, or perhaps the enemy itself destroyed the documents, research is still ongoing in that regard.

However, another set of the initial thoughts regarding the documents have been proven false. These documents contain very little information about the Blau Gotten herself, and most of what it does we already knew. The main focus of these documents seem to be the royal bloodline, although much of the data regarding the rulers themselves is unrecoverable. It also seems to contain much information on something we previously held very little information about.

The Primarchs.

The Primarchs were previously believed by many to have been a powerful group of Belkan magicians, whom had taken it upon themselves to monitor and guard the worlds drifting in the sea of dimensions. Some sources even hail them as the first time-space administrators. This source has proven to be a wrench in such theories.

According to the Belkan document, the Primarchs were not guardians who sought to prevent dimensional disturbances and bring peace to the universe at large. Instead, the Primarchs were genetic soldiers that led the armies of Ancient Belka. If they guarded the security of planets, they did so only to guard the Ancient Belkan Empire.

According to the records, the Primarchs were most likely an early form of Artificial Mages, created out of genetic material which was taken from the royal bloodline itself. Several generations are told to have been used in creating a variety of Primarchs, numbering 22 in total. The uneven numbers appear to have all been male, while the even numbers were female. A Primarch was far greater in power then any average mage, and were therefore bred and trained to be leaders as well as warriors. It is said that when a Primarch would lead an army to battle, he or she would always do so from the front, which had heavy influence on the morale of the troops they were leading.

Primarchs used a wide range of powers, while most focused on the traditional Belka melee others included the use of powerful long-range spells in their arsenal, sacrificing some of their melee prowess in the process. In some cases even more then just a bit of skill, their abilities more akin to the skills displayed by Commander Yagami Hayate. It seemed that the Primarchs had huge magic reserves, which would make the use of cartridge devices rather redundant for them. Considering there is no mention of cartridge using Primarchs, this theory seems rather likely.

If we were to compare them to the ranks the mages in the bureau have these days, I would say that the Primarchs ranked among the elite. And while they were powerful and rare figureheads that were capable of inspiring troops that were already heavily demoralized, they would also have been able to convince diplomatic parties that have been bickering for years.

The relation between Primarchs seemed to have been one of siblings, as they are commonly said to have referred to each other as brothers and sisters, and while the page that detailed their standing towards the royal bloodline has been severely burned, considering their loyalty it would have been very strange if they had not thought of the royal bloodline as family as well.

One such part in particular supports this theory, the only pages of the documents that speak in detail about one Primarch. Very fortunately, an image of the Primarch in question also survived with the remaining pages.

Her name was Alistina Carter, or rather Lady Alistina Carter. It seems that she was the personal bodyguard, or ‘guardian’ as they were called, of the last Seiou, created out of her very genetical data. Considering the various physical differences between this Primarch and the Takamachi Vivio, who herself is a clone of the Seiou, we can assume that the process of creating a Primarch was vastly different from mere cloning. It seems that various genetical changes, ranging from the expected physical capabilities to cosmetic ones are made.

Yuuno stopped to rub his eyes for a moment. It was late, and referring to Vivio as ‘a clone’ made him feel uncomfortable. It did not help that some crackpots tried to place a link between this Alistina and Keroko either, something suggesting Keroko to be a Project F clone of this Primarch. Yuuno shook his head at the idea.

Alistina could very well be called the shining example of Belkan loyalty, as she is noted several times for her loyalty to the royal bloodline, and her ‘sister’ in particular. It also seems that she had a habit of making politicians uneasy, earning her the ire of many that opposed the Royal Bloodline.

Being in charge of the safety of the Seiou, Alistina was also in charge of security in and around the royal palace, and seemed to have dedicated herself to this task, going as far as founding a new security force, referred to as the Imperial Wing in the documents, to accomplish this task. She is not noted for having lead many battles, at most taking the lead in destroying a party of raiders foolish enough to risk a direct attack on the capital. This is unfortunate, as it could have yielded more information about the combat leadership capabilities of the Primarch.

It seemed, however, that her efforts were ultimately in vain, as the empire fell during the creation of this document. The details are vague, but it seems that the empire was torn apart by struggles both internal and external, as mention of a ‘betrayal’ are made. More research on whom or what was the driving force behind the fall of this once mighty empire is required, as all available sources end in pure speculation so far. The question of what happened to the Primarch is one of the biggest examples; as such powerful warriors don’t simply disappear without a fierce struggle.

As you can see, these documents have raised as many questions as they have answered. The continued search for more relics of the Ancient Belkan Empire is therefore recommended. Make no mistake, we have gotten closer to understanding the past of Belka, but these documents have also showed us that we have a long way to go still.

So yeah I fell back into third person prose, it's where I'm comfy plus I can describe the scene better. Spell List: She is an assassin-type, like a Wing Guard. An expert in hand-to-hand combat, specialty being in sou-jutsu, polearm usage and kenjutsu. Expert in hacking magic equations and finding ways around them. Efffectively, even without being the admin of the Book of Darkness, she could reformat it if she wanted.

She, other than certain spells, lacks the firepower of the other aces. Makes up for it with her 1337 assassination skills. Well, Black Ops for you. She's the closest thing Nanoha has to a murderer, given that Black Holes are Murderers of Stars and Light and Other Things.

Oh yeah, forgot to say, while other Bombardment Spells blow people away, Unholy Spiral gets people in close for the kill. But it's Bombardment all the same because it bombards people with...err (censored).

Tale: Yes, as it may appear from the spoiler, Paradox Shadow is related to her by blood (mother?sister?daughter?), but is also her Unison Device. With the exception of Sipher, though technically he's not really a destroyer, non of the Destroyers have red eyes. That colour is used to represent 'death' for them.

As a Destroyer suffer for injury on battle, a portion of his eye, either one of them, would turn red. The amount of change is relative to the damage he receives.

When both eyes turned red, it would mean that the Destroyer is dead.

Spoiler for Exorcist:

Jeno's second device. Exorcist is the direct opposite of Executioner in terms of colouring. While Executioner had a black handle and pure white blade, Exorcist his a white handle and a pure black blade.

Exorcist a storage device specializes in fire spells.

Spoiler for spell description: Heaven's Drive:

One of the most devastating lightning-base melee attack. It's like a giant electric piledriver, one that increases force as it travels along the 'wind tunnel'. Even though it's classified as a 'melee' attack, it is common for it to have gain enough momentum to travel a distance after impact or when the user stopped moving.

Spoiler for spell description: Hellion's Break:

One of the most devastating Fire-base melee attack. On the point of contact, a extremely powerful velocity explosion blast away from the user, this is followed by a jet of super-heated plasma smashing into the target.

Due to Jeno's Inefficiency in fire spells, the potential of the attack is reduced.

Definitely a most intense and touching scenario.

Sorry for the massive italics, those are her thoughts. She's pretty confused right now, so couldn't be helped. 1-2a is in her point of view, anyway, but I suppose other Chapters (like 2b) have to be written otherwise.

Spoiler for On Reverse Bombardment:

Unholy Spiral is an attack that is like a vacuum cleaner cum tornado. Like one, it's quite peaceful in the eye of the storm, but the fact that you're getting closer and closer to Arcadia is not really a very good idea. The outside is a nasty sight though. it's a tornado of blades.

Is her Bombardment like an antithesis of everyone else's? Not really, she has horizon shot to make up for it. It's quite straight foward.

Spoiler for Given this, why the lack of Firepower?:

She does actually have her own Linker Core, but she also has a amalgam of 666 Linker Cores on her (plus her own), which makes her pretty good, but the magics, without the Book of Darkness to assimilate them, have no purpose whatsoever, so it doesn't really fit her. Simply put, she's an uncompleted Hayate.

But she's stuck with it, so well. SAD, when she uses magic, it hurts her due to the sheer incompatibility of the magic. That's probably why she needs Hayate, in order to reprogram the Book.

Spoiler for DON'T LOOK, IT'S TOO SAD:

Man, it's gonna hurt when she finds "It's already been reprogrammed, and the Void that was the original book is GONE!!! So there ain't no more equation to start with." She hasn't asked yet, see. I dunno if I wanna make this sad or not

Spoiler for Then Why be a Mage?:

You know, whether the book is used or not, it hurts, right? (From As: When incomplete, it hurts, when complete, it kills. Since Arcadia has the numbers, but no book, it hurts.) Then this should be totally self-explanatory. I'd think I'd also rather have a shot at a cure rather than nothing. Poor her.

Spoiler for Hacking into Magic? What the heck- bad pun:

Uhhh, yes, hacking magic. Chrono did mention in As that magic was determined by equations. So far, we've only seen people who know how to use Boolean. I wanted to make Arkadia someone who can change the basis of the magic into something different, rather than just upping its firepower a hell lot.

I think she needs it, since her firepower is honestly, not too brilliant, even being lenient. It's limited. I guess when you're lacking something, you need something else to make up and mend the hole. I'd like to see her cut lines off some equations. Hee hee. Although the casting time is REALLY SLOW. Ah well, the ultimate nerf.

As he 'contemplated' them, he noticed something in between, "...Eh? What's that?" He blinked.

"Good morning, Yui." Koji greeted Yui as they walked to her.
"Good mo--are? Onii-chan, who's that?" Yui tilted to the side to get a better look at the black haired figure behind Koji.

"Ah, that's right, you haven't met her yet...This is Treize, she'll be staying with us for a while." Koji stepped aside.
Treize looked at Yui, and did nothing.
"Treize, why don't introduce yourself to Yui?." Maren suggested.
Treize nodded, turned to Yui, "Treize...yoroshiku" and gently bowed.
"She's so cute~" She let out, "I'm Yui, but you can call me Onee-chan~" She smiled.
Treize blinked, tilted her head and replied, "...Onee-chan?"

"KYA~" Yui suddenly hugs her, "Kawaii~~" She squealed as their cheeks rubbed against each other.
As for Treize, she had her usual expression.
"Onii-chan, can I keep her?" She said ecstatically.

"Ahahaha..." Koji tittered, "Already getting along this well." Koji turned to Maren.
"Maybe a little to well..." Maren said as she sweatdropped.
"Eh?" Koji then turned to Yui and Treize.
"Trei-chan, do Onee-chan a favor and wear this~" Yui said as she presented Treize with an 'attire'
"Sukuurumizu???!" Koji shouted. (W-Where did she get it from anyway?) His eye twitched.

Oh yeah, forgot to say, while other Bombardment Spells blow people away, Unholy Spiral gets people in close for the kill. But it's Bombardment all the same because it bombards people with...err (censored).

Tale: Yes, as it may appear from the spoiler, Paradox Shadow is related to her by blood (mother?sister?daughter?), but is also her Unison Device. It was pouring rain outside. Inside the room, it was calm enough. Inside of me, I was shaking. The lady I knew only as "Shamal" was rather busy...Too many unnecessary movements for a Knight...It was difficult to shake my instinct to analyze her. There was no need I saw. She was alone here. She was not my foe. But...the feeling-

And Paradox Shadow had been silent since we came. Tired. Exhausted.

Even if I wanted to, I could do nothing. There I was, a Lt. Col of the TSAB, cold, wet, hungry, confused, injured and strangely glad to be alive. years of being missing...has it been so long?

"You were really scary over the phone back there-"Damn, she's really fussing, I swear! Yet being fussed over...felt better than being out there, in the rain.

"Where does it hurt again?" A jolt went through me as she reached for my shoulders. a jolt that was all too familiar. Fear. No! Defend- Draw-

I instinctively reached for my weapon, but my hand, lacking in all strength, gave midway through. ...I hung my head. What could those delicate hands do? She was a healer, that was plain. Yet my hands suspect that which heals them.

Sorry for the massive italics, those are her thoughts. She's pretty confused right now, so couldn't be helped. 1-2a is in her point of view, anyway, but I suppose other Chapters (like 2b) have to be written otherwise.

Spoiler for On Reverse Bombardment:

Unholy Spiral is an attack that is like a vacuum cleaner cum tornado. Like one, it's quite peaceful in the eye of the storm, but the fact that you're getting closer and closer to Arcadia is not really a very good idea. The outside is a nasty sight though. it's a tornado of blades.

Is her Bombardment like an antithesis of everyone else's? Not really, she has horizon shot to make up for it. It's quite straight foward.

Spoiler for Given this, why the lack of Firepower?:

She does actually have her own Linker Core, but she also has a amalgam of 666 Linker Cores on her (plus her own), which makes her pretty good, but the magics, without the Book of Darkness to assimilate them, have no purpose whatsoever, so it doesn't really fit her. Simply put, she's an uncompleted Hayate.

But she's stuck with it, so well. SAD, when she uses magic, it hurts her due to the sheer incompatibility of the magic. That's probably why she needs Hayate, in order to reprogram the Book.

Spoiler for DON'T LOOK, IT'S TOO SAD:

Man, it's gonna hurt when she finds "It's already been reprogrammed, and the Void that was the original book is GONE!!! So there ain't no more equation to start with." She hasn't asked yet, see. I dunno if I wanna make this sad or not

Spoiler for Then Why be a Mage?:

You know, whether the book is used or not, it hurts, right? (From As: When incomplete, it hurts, when complete, it kills. Since Arcadia has the numbers, but no book, it hurts.) Then this should be totally self-explanatory. I'd think I'd also rather have a shot at a cure rather than nothing. Poor her.

Spoiler for Hacking into Magic? What the heck- bad pun:

Uhhh, yes, hacking magic. Chrono did mention in As that magic was determined by equations. So far, we've only seen people who know how to use Boolean. I wanted to make Arkadia someone who can change the basis of the magic into something different, rather than just upping its firepower a hell lot.

I think she needs it, since her firepower is honestly, not too brilliant, even being lenient. It's limited. I guess when you're lacking something, you need something else to make up and mend the hole. I'd like to see her cut lines off some equations. Hee hee. Although the casting time is REALLY SLOW. Ah well, the ultimate nerf.

Details can wait a bit, since I'm gonna sleep soon

Knight Carim was seated upon an elaborately-carved chair with three other personae around a round wooden table. The room was dim, the curtains drawn to prevent curious eyes from peering in from without. There was a set of china set upon the table, and a small pot of tea, still hot and fresh. The rest of the guests had a cup in front of them, but they were untouched. Apparently, all of them were intrigued by what she had called them for than the taste of the tea. She could not blame them though, she had requested for the meeting rather abruptly, that they must think it was very important.

It was beyond important; it was dire.

“I’m sorry to have called for a meeting on such short notice, Admiral Chrono Harlaown, Brigadier General Yagami Hayate, and Captain of the Enforcers, Fate Testarossa Harlaown,” Carim began formally. “It was not my intention to detract you from your duties, but such necessity has arisen that I must convene a matter of much complexity and danger to all of you.”

“It’s quite all right, Carim, there’s no need for such formalities,” Chrono interrupted. One of the youngest Admirals in the history of the Bureau’s Dimensional Navigational Fleet, he was a handsome man in his thirties. With deep, penetrating eyes and an intellectual mind, he was both fighter and strategist, armed with powerful magic and skills unrivalled by most. “We are friends, so please, conduct yourself as per normal.”

Carim smiled. “Well, thank you then, Chrono.”

“What do you have that is so urgent, Carim-san?” Hayate asked, a lively lady with a cheerful demeanor. Her small figure belied her impressive command of magic; in fact, she was one of the rare Ancient Belkan magic-users, who were thought to have been extinct now, save for a small number scattered throughout the dimensions. “I received your message from Rein when I got back. She said it is quite serious.”

“Yes, I have the same feeling as well when my secretary passed me the message,” the blond-haired Fate added. Albeit being an artificial mage created through a cloning technology called Project F, she was a powerful mage who was once an arch-rival to Nanoha. They had become friends after an incident, to which she looked to Nanoha as both best friend and savior. “I asked Inspector Acous if he knew anything, but he said no.”

“Verossa? I do not think that he would, since I did not tell him anything about this, yet,” Carim said, chuckling slightly. “Oh, he must be frustrated. He works in the Intelligence Department, after all.”

“I’m guessing that he’s around, snooping for information,” added Hayate, and all four of them laughed. “Wait, he is around. Didn’t he just meet us outside, Fate-chan?”

“Yes, he said he’s going to meet someone, but he didn’t mention anything else,” Fate answered.

“Oh, he’ll be all right, then,” Carim said, smiling. “He will eventually know of this, anyway, so he can wait for a few moments longer.” Her demeanor became critical suddenly, and there was a rigidity about her that was not present previously. “Anyway, first thing’s first, I assume all of you still remember my power, right?”

All three nodded. “Profeitin Shrifti,” Hayate said. “Ancient Belkan magic with the power to predict the future.”

“Yes,” Carim said. “And just two days ago, I used the same power.”

The three of them looked surprised. Concerned, Chrono asked, “Is there a new prophecy? What does it say?”

To their surprise again, Carim shook her head. “It is not a prophecy this time.”

“Then, what is it?” Fate asked curiously.

Almost whisper-like, Carim said slowly, “It’s a warning.”

“Warning?” all three of them said at once. “What do you mean?”

“You do realize that prophecies are predictions of things that shall happen, and that depending on the circumstances, they might or might not come true,” Carim explained. They nodded.

“Then, you mean to say …” Hayate began.

Carim nodded. “This time, however, it will happen, regardless of the factors. There is no mistaking it.”

“What does the warning say, then?” Chrono enquired, his brows knitted in a frown.

Carim closed her eyes, drew in a deep breath, and let out a long sigh. The feelings that had haunted her for the past two days began anew, a chill that slowly crept under her skin, an unknown fear that meddled with her thought. There was a pregnant silence as they waited for her, all eyes intent. It felt as if the atmosphere was charged with a strange presence, a malignant creature borne of dread and trepidation, threatening to engulf them in its hollow maw.

“Listen very carefully, then,” Carim said as she opened her eyes slowly, her voice tight and hoarse, as if her windpipe were constricted. The presence intensified, building its invisible mass that pressed upon all four of them.

Bewareth the Signs of the End:
When the Lost Angel of the Silver Torch falleth,

Carim stopped, unable to continue. Her voice lost coherence, and she coughed. The presence had reached its climax, bearing its full weight upon all four, wrapping them with its unseen pressure.

“And … what is the rest, Carim?” Chrono pressed, his voice urgent.

With much difficulty, Carim composed herself, repositioning her seat so as to make herself more comfortable, though it was without success. She choked slightly on the words, but they were heard as clearly as the rings of the church bells outside.

And upon the world,
eternal rest within the tomb of stars.

I know, there's zero action in this chapter. In its stead are various fillers for unanswered questions that hopefully have been fulfilled now. Still, enjoy it.

I'll post a tutorial (lol) on the Astral Mage-knights later, maybe tomorrow.

Nicely written here that raises alot more questions, while answering some of the ones raised before It was interesting to see the discussion between the enemy about the use of Hounds of Artemis, some nice points that you raised that show us that although what they're usuing is powerful, it's quite dangerous for the user as well.

The introduction of the third party this early on was a little bit of a surprise, but one that is tied in nicely. It seems that they know who the enemy is now, as well as helping Subaru out as well.

The warning /prophecy was well written. I'll be looking forward to the next part

Ah, tis a shame. While I may enjoy indulging myself in alternate-universe RPing on occasion, it seems that this is one dimension that has no room to spare for someone like me. I tend to keep my characters on the "Supporting actor" level of the uberness scale. I always enjoy creating an original hero in an interesting universe, but never one that can tip the balance and steal the spotlight away from the original source material's lead characters. From a glance at Kha's official fanon timeline, it doesn't seem like there's any place for a character who doesn't have three S's to their rank, and anything I came up with would probably be about a AA at the most extreme, which is still unbelievably strong. . . Unless I'm getting the wrong vibe here.

Ahaha, You have to remeber that the fanon timeline doesn't encomapass everyone in the thread. Plus there's plenty of scope within the nanohaverse to write about the lesser characters, those that are lesser mages or even people who aren't mages.

there's quite a number of characters who have done so (myself among them) who have focused on developing this side of it, instead of concentrating on the hideously overpowered realms that Kha and others delve into..

The battle rages on above her. Jenocide was recklessly throwing his spells around, using both lightning as well as dimensional distortion spells. The Seigneur isn't holding back either, already using Drive Ignition, the holy Knight fires a barriage of magic shots that could easily be ranked as 'S' in terms of damage.

The explosion from their attacks hitting each other, or hitting the surrounding area shook the ground and amplifies the already bad snow weather. It was an epic battle between light and darkness, between two opposing forces, and each of them have enough firepower to level an entire city.

Yet, despite all the mayhem and destruction, the only thing she could see... Is him trying to reach out to her...

Michael loaded three cartridges into his device. A Velkan symbol appear beneath him. In addition, he begins to absorb all the residue magic in the air. His hand trembles as he struggles to control this dangerous attack of his. The first two cartridge's magic goes to creating rwo stablizing rings around the gun, to control all the gained up magic.

The third cartridge would be used to fire the entire spell.

"White Apocalypse..."

The bombardment spell was so huge that it completely envelopes the scenery. Rather than a concentrated beam, it was more like a giant spotlight, shining on everything infront of it.

Jenocide spins his device in one hand, a giant dark blue Midchildan circle appeared beneath him. The Destroyer stopped and held his weapon in a horizontal position point forward. Several columns of lightning bolts flashes along

Raising his free hand, a faint outline of a 'wind' tunnel shows the path of destruction he is about to take, all the way towards the powerful Chevalier. Very noticeable lightning sparks dance along the side of the tunnel, as if welcoming his arrvial.

The Amethyst-coloured lightning pillars bend and gather into the blade of Executioner...

Executioner: <Heaven's Drive>

... And Jenocide shot like a bullet towards Michael's gigantic attack, his attack plow right through the Apocalypse, which despite it's intimidating size, has a much lighter magical density as compared to Heaven's Drive.

The black devil thrust his sword forward at the last moment, slinging the powerful spell towards his enemy.

Resulting in a massive explosion that thundered throughout the land. When the dust settles, Michael was nowhere to be seen.

A gun cocked behind him.

"Bye bye, Destroyer." said the Chevalier, as he points his device at Jenocide's head and fired.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!

Michael himself was blown back by the force of his own spell, but he manages to stablize himself soon after. Looking up, he saw the silhouette of a figure behind the smoke.

Jeno, who has regain control after the explosion, has activated his second device in his left hand as well has used his Dimension-distortion spell 'WING' to increase his damage output, and slammed into Michael with the force of a missile.

"Hellion's Break"

From Exorcist's point of contact, a huge jet of flames exploded in Michael's face. The intense fiery explosion sent his body flying towards the mountain behind him... The sound of impact was extremely satisfying to Jeno's ears.

"Bye bye, Chevalier."

When the dust settles, the Chevalier's body was pounded into a nice round crater on the side of the mountain. Jeno flew close to inspect the body.

As expected, he's still alive... Barely.

"In the end, this is really all that you are..." Jeno sheath both his devices into each other. "A worm in a hole..."

Michael coughed out blood and grinned.

"You're right... But... You too... Are in this hole..."

A summoning symbol appeared behind him.

"What the-?!"

Before he could react, Jeno finds himself trapped with in a large golden orb of light.

"This... Is not... Your grave... But you are... Welcomed to stay... In it..."

A smaller white sphere surrounded Michael, from it several white 'branches' spout out from it, they seem to be grasping the air around the sphere, and pulling them towards it... But on closer observation, Jeno realized that they are in fact, grabbing onto space itself, and consuming it.

"That's not possible! A mere human like you using blackhole-variety spell?!"

A deep voice boomed from the sphere.

"Indeed, I cannot control it... But soon, that will not matter... For you alone, can only struggle before this power!"

The branches shot out towards him, faster than a blink of an eye, wrapping themselves onto whatever they could grab hold to.

"ARGHHH!" Jeno struggles to break free.

"You, who is alone and consumed by evil, with be undone by it..."

"You, who does not love, won't understand the power of sacrifice..."

"You, who cares not for others, will be overwhelmed by the bonds that binds us..."

"You, who fend for only yourself, cannot defeat the will to protect..."

The branches latched on to Jeno's eight wing blades, hindering his movements. With one last burst of strength, he concentrated all of his magic into a single spell that propells him outside the orb. He had just barely touch the edge when branches regain their hold on him and stopped his movement completely.

"AHHH!!!"

"With this last act... My family... My friends... My people... Will be safe..."

"MICHAELLL!!!"

"You cannot escape from this grave... For you are alone..."

Damnit...!!

Jeno hates that man for making him suffer.

A strong gust of wind blast through the outer layer of the spell.

Spica in her armor, punched a hole through the spell from the outside. Her particular whirlwind spell has anti-magic properties, making it easier to overcome the spell... But that is only for the outer shell of it, the black branches seems to be unaffected by her winds.

Spi... Ca...?

Some of them tried to grab her, but the wind warrior dodge them with relatively ease... Very few things to match her in terms of agility especially when she's in the air. After seeing her being able to handle herself, Jeno relaxed alittle. The fight with Michael had left him exhausted, Jenocide had exerted too much of his strength.

"Stupid bastard..." Jeno slowly slipped out of consciousness...

After dodging the last few grabs, Spica looked down and saw the branches pulling him deeper into the light. Gripping her device tightly and spoke with the pure determination of a woman.

"Kae-se..."

Spica dived down at sonic speeds, gracefully evading the branches. She flew as close as she could to the tangling mass which is pulling in space itself.

"Why are you doing this?! Why are you risking your life for him? For this monster? Why do you go so far for him?"

Rudra: <Load Cartridge>

"Because he had done the same for THIS monster... Because it doesn't feel wrong..." Spica replied. "And because..."

Rudra begins to hum...

"...I don't want to be alone anymore!"

Rudra: <Heavy Storm Jammer>

"You have took what you've hated and made it a part of you..." Spica told the dying Chevalier. “You are alone Michael... And only you will die here.”

Spica clap both fans against each other, creating a massive burst of wind and shockwave to interfere with the magicial foundation of the spell, as well as to stun the branches and losen their grip on Jeno.

The last thing Jeno saw before blacking-out, was Spica reaching out to grab his hand, and a single voice booming voice calling out...

"Was I wrong?"

... Judging from the angle which Spica is looking down from, he's guessing it's her...

"Yokata..."

Something wet dripped on to his face.

"You're crying..."

"A little..." She wiped her tears.

"Sigh, that means I've broke my promise with you..."

"Yeah, you did." Spica laughed softly. "But I guess I can forgive this once."

Jeno felt the urge to reach out to her, but his body just won't cooperate.

"How are you feeling?"

"Like cra- Erm... I've seen better days..."

"I've already bandaged your lesser wounds... Nothing too serious though..."

"You didn't have to you know... only a small portion of my eyes have turned red, that means I could still use the storage healing spell for quite abit..."

"I know, but I just want to do something for you..." Spica smiled.

"...I guess it's fine then."

"Thank you."

"Where are we?" Jeno asked as he tried to look around.

"Safe..." Spica replied, "I've flown us across the lake and onto the other side of the mountain range..."

"And the Chevalier?"

"...He was consumed by his own spell..."

Jeno lets out a sigh of relief.

"Then it's over..."

"Yeah... It's over..."

Jeno closed his eyes and relaxed.

"You gave me quite a surprise though..." He said as he opens them again.

"Hmmm? How so?"

"Because you're still wearing those... "

Spoiler for Eyes of the Destroyer:

With the exception of Sipher, though technically he's not really a destroyer, non of the Destroyers have red eyes. That colour is used to represent 'death' for them.

As a Destroyer suffer for injury on battle, a portion of his eye, either one of them, would turn red. The amount of change is relative to the damage he receives.

When both eyes turned red, it would mean that the Destroyer is dead.

Spoiler for Exorcist:

Jeno's second device. Exorcist is the direct opposite of Executioner in terms of colouring. While Executioner had a black handle and pure white blade, Exorcist his a white handle and a pure black blade.

Exorcist a storage device specializes in fire spells.

Spoiler for spell description: Heaven's Drive:

One of the most devastating lightning-base melee attack. It's like a giant electric piledriver, one that increases force as it travels along the 'wind tunnel'. Even though it's classified as a 'melee' attack, it is common for it to have gain enough momentum to travel a distance after impact or when the user stopped moving.

Spoiler for spell description: Hellion's Break:

One of the most devastating Fire-base melee attack. On the point of contact, a extremely powerful velocity explosion blast away from the user, this is followed by a jet of super-heated plasma smashing into the target.

Due to Jeno's Inefficiency in fire spells, the potential of the attack is reduced.

Nice, very nice. Jeno and Spica finally get their moements together. Long enough to cover all the bases and slightly on the sweetcheesium side but I like everything of it.

Extra info was tasty too. Chevaliers would be the arch-rival group against the Destroyers I presume. Technical stuff are always good too.

Couldn't you just have used the second song first? It sounds better, sung by the original artiste anyway.

The lady I knew only as "Shamal" was rather busy...Too many unnecessary movements for a Knight...It was difficult to shake my instinct to analyze her. There was no need I saw. She was alone here. She was not my foe. But...the feeling-

And Paradox Shadow had been silent since we came. Tired. Exhausted.

Even if I wanted to, I could do nothing. There I was, a Lt. Col of the TSAB, cold, wet, hungry, confused, injured and strangely glad to be alive. years of being missing...has it been so long?

"You were really scary over the phone back there-"Damn, she's really fussing, I swear! Yet being fussed over...felt better than being out there, in the rain.

"Where does it hurt again?" A jolt went through me as she reached for my shoulders. a jolt that was all too familiar. Fear. No! Defend- Draw-

I instinctively reached for my weapon, but my hand, lacking in all strength, gave midway through. ...I hung my head. What could those delicate hands do? She was a healer, that was plain. Yet my hands suspect that which heals them.

"I'm sorry, Shamal." For the second time in my life, I meant it. You could've died...

"It's alright..." Hesitant. I frightened her. "...but, why do you know my name?"

"It just...came to me...when I heard your voice." Like peaceful waters..."Perhaps...you and I, we know each other from somewhere."

Sorry for the massive italics, those are her thoughts. She's pretty confused right now, so couldn't be helped. 1-2a is in her point of view, anyway, but I suppose other Chapters (like 2b) have to be written otherwise.

Spoiler for On Reverse Bombardment:

Unholy Spiral is an attack that is like a vacuum cleaner cum tornado. Like one, it's quite peaceful in the eye of the storm, but the fact that you're getting closer and closer to Arcadia is not really a very good idea. The outside is a nasty sight though. it's a tornado of blades.

Is her Bombardment like an antithesis of everyone else's? Not really, she has horizon shot to make up for it. It's quite straight foward.

Spoiler for Given this, why the lack of Firepower?:

She does actually have her own Linker Core, but she also has a amalgam of 666 Linker Cores on her (plus her own), which makes her pretty good, but the magics, without the Book of Darkness to assimilate them, have no purpose whatsoever, so it doesn't really fit her. Simply put, she's an uncompleted Hayate.

But she's stuck with it, so well. SAD, when she uses magic, it hurts her due to the sheer incompatibility of the magic. That's probably why she needs Hayate, in order to reprogram the Book.

Spoiler for DON'T LOOK, IT'S TOO SAD:

Man, it's gonna hurt when she finds "It's already been reprogrammed, and the Void that was the original book is GONE!!! So there ain't no more equation to start with." She hasn't asked yet, see. I dunno if I wanna make this sad or not

You know, whether the book is used or not, it hurts, right? (From As: When incomplete, it hurts, when complete, it kills. Since Arcadia has the numbers, but no book, it hurts.) Then this should be totally self-explanatory. I'd think I'd also rather have a shot at a cure rather than nothing. Poor her.

Spoiler for Hacking into Magic? What the heck- bad pun:

Uhhh, yes, hacking magic. Chrono did mention in As that magic was determined by equations. So far, we've only seen people who know how to use Boolean. I wanted to make Arkadia someone who can change the basis of the magic into something different, rather than just upping its firepower a hell lot.

I think she needs it, since her firepower is honestly, not too brilliant, even being lenient. It's limited. I guess when you're lacking something, you need something else to make up and mend the hole. I'd like to see her cut lines off some equations. Hee hee. Although the casting time is REALLY SLOW. Ah well, the ultimate nerf.

“Target Sighted…” Atuwe muttered as he cracked the door and spotted Cipher at his desk in the shared office space for the unit typing away intently at one screen while seemingly reading information off two more. “How the hell dose he do that anyway?” Atuwe muttered.

“Do you need something?” He asked simply not turning away from his work, but apparently having noted the intruder’s presence despite him not having even step through the door yet. The direct approach is probably best if I ask him to answer a few questions while he keeps working he’ll probably do it…

“I was just wondering if you wouldn’t mind answering a few questions about yourself for the benefit of the public at large.”

“If it can be done while I work very well.”

“That’ll be fine then.” He still didn’t look away from the screen.

Hmm this could be good too… and if I can get everyone in a different and preferred environment while I interview them I can get some subtle personality queues going too! Yeah I won’t even show his face I’ll film him working from behind instead!

He realized he’d been daydreaming and quickly shook it off setting up the camera behind him and taking a seat.

“As I recall you have a report overdue, it would be in your best interest to work on that while you’re here anyway.” He then remarked rhetorically, but the tone was laced with command and it wasn’t really an observation so much as an order.

Oh you sly bastard… Atuwe cursed mentally as he realized he’d been caught and payment for his subject’s cooperation exacted grumbling he booted up the computer and grudgingly began typing.

“So how old are you and where you born?”

“I’ll be 36 in a few weeks I was born on the 167th Administered on November 21st.”

“So what do you think you’re good points are?” Atuwe continued after a few seconds pause to squint at one questions on the form he was attempting to fill out. Bah! He really had better things he could be writing about and he hadn’t expected to be typing so of coruse he didn’t have his glasses.

“I’m competent, hard working, and fair.” Cipher replied simply seemingly more then able to handle the conversion and continue typing at a furious pace.

“Plain…” Atuwe added to himself flatly and if Cipher heard it he didn’t object. “Some people might argue you’re a little more then just ‘competent’. Rumor has it you could get a commission straight to captain in the Air Force or even as in instructor at the drop of the hat.”

“Rumor’s have a habit of being untrue.” He answered curtly.

“Is this one?” Atuwe queried inquisitively.

“It’s immaterial I like my current position and won’t be leaving if it can be helped.”

“That’s a “yes, it’s true” then… So you’ve given me you’re good points how about some bad ones?“

“Hmm if you asked around my propensity for occasionally making the people here actually work would likely be frowned upon.”

“Yeah I’m not liking that habit much at the moment myself…” Autwe grumbled.

“If you didn’t put them off constantly to type up that blog of yours they wouldn’t pile up, and doing them as they come in is much easier then trying to plow through a week long backlog of them.” He lectured with a mix of disapproval and resigned acceptance.

“A key fact you’re failing to consider here is that I enjoy typing the blog reports… not so much.”

“Work isn’t meant to be fun, but it still needs to be done and it would be easier and less stressful if you did it in small batches.” He continued lecturing.

“Yeah, yeah I get it dad, and I’m adding ‘preachy’ to the list of bad habits.”

“If it’s preaching decent work habits, well guilty as charged.” He shrugged his shoulders indifferently.

“So family life? Siblings, parents?”

“Only Child, my mother and father both died when I was around 12.”

“How’d that happen, if you don’t mind?”

“Nothing dramatic, car accident, dad was a bit of a drinker and pushed his luck one too many times.” He replied coolly. ”It’s just a shame he ended up taking mother with him, but she did get in the car and let him drive when he was clearly intoxicated so she’s hardly free of responsibility for her demise, at least he didn’t kill anyone else.” He added with a shrug it was ancient history he’d gotten over long ago.

“I take it you’re teen years where a bit rough?”

“A bit, but they made me what I am today I was sent to live with my grandfather, my grandpa was an old hand in the mercenary world having been working since the early days of the TSAB. It’s said my family comes from a line of such types that can be traced back several centuries on our home world. My father was the first male child in generations not to join a military of some kind acutally. My grandfather was quite old by the time he got me, but he taught me allot in the 5 or so years we were together and when he passed at the ripe old age of 82 he handed down my device to me and despite technically being a minor I stuck out on my own. I drifted for a bit before I heard of a pretty nasty war going on out on the frontier that promised good pay and plenty of action and being young and still a bit over eager I headed out that way. You know the rest of that story.”

“So any other major relationships since then romantic or otherwise?”

“Mercenary life isn’t really compatible with a stable home or relationships I’ve had a few girls friends sometimes even for a number of months, but nothing serious and long term most of those ended immediately when I moved onto the next hot spot and I’m not really broken up about any of those either. A number of them were really only interested so they could say they were dating a mage and a mercenary no less, both carry a certain mystique, but then I was really only interested in them as company for a few months while I looked or waited for work so we were using each other I suppose.”

“Well that’s heart warming.” Atuwe remarked blandly, he was getting the impression he wasn’t going to be getting any rousing love stories out of these things.

“A romantic is something I’ll never be.” He replied unapologetically.

“Your in a bit more stable position now though, are still looking?” He asked curious.

“Not actively.” He answered with another shrug; he shrugged an awful lot Atuwe noted.

“No little accidents running around I assume?”

“Of course not I always used protection, anyone with any sense dose.” He replied sternly.

“Of coruse, so stupid question but you’ve killed a fair number of peoples yes?”

“Quite.”

“How do you feel about it?”

“The vast majority have been when the other party is likewise actively attempting to kill me, and that make’s it rather easier to rationalize. While it would be nice if such things weren’t necessary there are many people out there whom can only be stopped by being incapacitated, permanently. I don’t lose much sleep over it honestly and given that and the fact someone has to do this kind of thing I guess it might as well be me.”

“Well at least you aren’t keeping count…” Atuwe mumbled half to himself.

“Acutally do I try to, but unlike some people it’s not something I’ll bring up in casual conversation and it’s don’t for different reasons.” He replied flatly.

“A fairly pragmatic take on a rather nasty subject, but you ever just lose it or really hate someone?”

“Hate is a liability it clouds you’re judgment and can lead to stupid mistakes, one should always strive to let go of any feelings when in battle and to consider them logically when outside it. Its rare hate can be justified from a logical standpoint and it’s quite often almost entirely irrational. As for the second part, someone like me can’t afford to lose control it’s a very good way to die in battle or do something you’ll regret greatly in everyday life.”

“Well now that we know a little about you and you’re past how about we move onto some questions that are a bit less heavy, any favorite foods?”

“None in particular though I must admit that a certain fondness for European culinary traditions though I tend to shy away from some of the heavy stuff Pixy consumes. I prefer lighter things, things less likely to cause a massive heart attack before I hit 50, and I’ve always preferred beer to wine.”

“So what about desert?”

“Various fruit pies are a favorite usually with a bit of vanilla ice cream on the side.”

“How about your favorite kind of weather?”

”I’ve always liked it in the spring, a bit overcast but not acutally raining as it keeps the sun off you and the temperature comfortable, it’s my favorite flying weather.”

“I think I already know this, but I don’t suppose you ever just decide to stay in bed all day and do nothing?”

“No I’ve done that, but only on days when I’m officially off.” He responded pointedly.

“Pets?”

“Hmm never been much of a pet person, though I did do some falconry as a hobby a while back, 10 pound falcons don’t make very good house pets though.”

“Beach or pool?”

“I’ve never really liked water much and I don’t have many fond memories of the ocean so probably a pool.”

“On that note would you rather spend time outside say camping or at home?”

“Depends, but I’d tend to favor home most, where ever that happens to be at the moment most of the time.”

“Any participial way you like to get around?”

“I don’t see why anyone who can fly would prefer any other method, but when that’s not available I tend to try and use public transportation or walk, though I do also own a car which I tend to prefer when it’s raining and such.”

“So what’s you’re favorite place to be?”

“Can’t say I have any preference truthfully I’ve always been a bit of a drifter just passing through various areas, though I must admit I’ve become a little attached to our misfit band so as long as I get to keep working with them I don’t really care.”

“So any unusual weaknesses, fetishes, secrets, or things about you that you’d like to share?.”

“Not really as I mentioned I’m not a big fan of the ocean anymore, I’ve seen too many sad things happen over those to find them beautiful or relaxing anymore, but that’s not a weakness I just don’t like them. I can’t really think of anything else.”

“How about the fact there’s no damn way you’re human…” Atuwe mumbled as she watched him continue to type away at blazing speed not having paused for a moment the entire. “Well I think that’ll be good enough…” He add aloud moving to retrieve his camera.

“Is that report finished?” Cipher asked simply as he noted him rising to leave.

“Well it’s almost done I’ll do the rest lat—“ Atuwe began.

“Finish it.”

“Yes, sir.” He sighed in defeat and sat right back down.

I’ll do backlog later since it should be slow for the next few hours; because for now I need a nap.

Yes, Sylvia loves strawberries so much its like an obsession.
I want my OCs to have a more or less fun side, despite their individual dispositions. Don't think of them as stoic and unable to understand humour because they do. Jean for one, is a lot more relaxed and expressive when her close friends are around instead of behaving overly ladylike.
Alright, I don't know why but I feel like I'm gonna get a lot of questions regarding their personality. So fire away, and if you still can't read the spoiler I'll post again. Darn thing...

Sylvia and Jean could almost pass off as sisters if I didn't know better. And Itsuki gets his other side nicely shown here too, big brother and teasing figure to the two girls. Nicely done for all involved and love the way Sylvia goes tomato mode.

Which reminds me Gen is still stuck as a vicious grumpy old fart while Katrina goes the pleasure whore route. Entirely my fault though.

It wasn't that rough, in fact he had allot of fun back then, but he made a couple decisions that don't seem to hot in hind sight.

In that case him and Pixy might well get on better similar experiences from what it sounds like.

Again that's hardly a nation specific thing I've heard some frankly depressing horror stories during my schooling about women that will stay with men that beating them and molesting their children.

Yup, you're getting the wrong vibe

We may like our overpowered characters, but trust me there's lots of room for reasonably underpowered OC's here. It's not about the character RANK in this case, but character DEVELOPMENT, on how much you can flesh out your character (which is why as you can see, the questionnaire is quite popular). A lot of the main shareholders here may involved themselves deeply into the Fanon/Canon border (Kha, Keroko, Saga, Aurion etc...), but there's place for the little guys, like my own OC's, which stay away from the canon limelight as much as possible, and a lot of the other OC's here.

You don't need overpowered characters or relationships with the canon characters here, just do as you like within reason.

About the questionnaire, we could always...Ask less crazy questions. Arkadia's really...grumpy about it, just to quote someone's line.

NEVERMIND. OC's can fit like ANYWHERE- where in actual canon, or not. You could always make up your own storyline based on existing precepts (just keep the Magic System intact, and it's all good )

Yupz, character development is very important. It's difficult to get original characters these days, though. It's been couple of centuries since stories started and more. Good for us, some character models NEVER get old

@Thread: Hey, Fan Creation is fun, all you need is people who like it. And I think there's enough to get a collaborated work (for some reason...), which could always incorporate different writing styles (and hey, we have Nanoha Fandom-verse. AH WELL---)

Man I love PC and computers one of my favorite past times is buying more stuff to cram into the cases ie (Which is coincidently is sans one of the sides right now so I can shove a floor fan next to it... was running a just a wee bit hot hence my need for a heat sink, it's very redneck'ish but whatever works.) Another thing I like is reading articles about the latest whiz-bang hardware. I damn near popped a boner when I saw the benchmarks on the Core 2 Duo for instance, those things are some kickass CPUs let me tell you.

Like I've said before I'm a total tech head.

Neither was his, he basiclly decided everyone around him was beyond hope and he was going to destroy everything; after all the pointless bickering would stop if everything was blown up… as you can see he’s not nearly as crazy as that anymore. Cipher stopped him by nearly killing him and ended up white washing the entire affair implicating a dead coconspirator as the master mind and greatly down playing Pixy’s role in the affair.

He disappeared for several years afterwards before showing up again, but a lack of evidence, which seems to have conveniently disappeared during that absence… (funny that) has made any kind of persecution impossible and so the TSAB has basiclly settled for keeping him under their thumb and supervision instead. He’s not technically a TSAB officer, but he is employed by them effectively full time now. Allot of that work is undercover though so it’s not impossible they might blunder across each other in their civilian guises or that he might even be sent after him at some point.

Still it was more from a personality compatibility standpoint then anything as he was compared to Felix which wasn't a really good fit IMO.

I was more referring to the fact that, in the creation of a character here in OC, overpowered isn't really the best way to go. All of my established characters are pathetic in terms of overall combat ability compared to the other major OC's here.

I'm quite sure that Arkadia was just meant as a counter to my Dwarven Sniper assasinate there, and thus I don't take him that seriously as a character, since I'm mostly joking anyways But if you do intend for him to be a bonafide OC character, with those stats and abilities you listed there, it's best to have some good background exposition and explanations ready.

Exactly. Some people here practice a degree of h4xx. Some are quite...starkingly... , but so long as it's not shoved down the throat, we can ignore or forgive. Plus compelling stories to assist that h4xx is always good, but even then, compelling stories make them look weaker than they are in paper as well.

Moderation. Even though the Aces for one are not said to be the BEST EVER, they're considered the cream of the crop, and generally, it is advisable to stay within their constraints.

Sorry for the massive italics, those are her thoughts. She's pretty confused right now, so couldn't be helped. 1-2a is in her point of view, anyway, but I suppose other Chapters (like 2b) have to be written otherwise.

Unholy Spiral is an attack that is like a vacuum cleaner cum tornado. Like one, it's quite peaceful in the eye of the storm, but the fact that you're getting closer and closer to Arcadia is not really a very good idea. The outside is a nasty sight though. it's a tornado of blades.

Is her Bombardment like an antithesis of everyone else's? Not really, she has horizon shot to make up for it. It's quite straight foward.

Spoiler for Given this, why the lack of Firepower?:

She does actually have her own Linker Core, but she also has a amalgam of 666 Linker Cores on her (plus her own), which makes her pretty good, but the magics, without the Book of Darkness to assimilate them, have no purpose whatsoever, so it doesn't really fit her. Simply put, she's an uncompleted Hayate.

But she's stuck with it, so well. SAD, when she uses magic, it hurts her due to the sheer incompatibility of the magic. That's probably why she needs Hayate, in order to reprogram the Book.

Man, it's gonna hurt when she finds "It's already been reprogrammed, and the Void that was the original book is GONE!!! So there ain't no more equation to start with." She hasn't asked yet, see. I dunno if I wanna make this sad or not

You know, whether the book is used or not, it hurts, right? (From As: When incomplete, it hurts, when complete, it kills. Since Arcadia has the numbers, but no book, it hurts.) Then this should be totally self-explanatory. I'd think I'd also rather have a shot at a cure rather than nothing. Poor her.

Uhhh, yes, hacking magic. Chrono did mention in As that magic was determined by equations. So far, we've only seen people who know how to use Boolean. I wanted to make Arkadia someone who can change the basis of the magic into something different, rather than just upping its firepower a hell lot.

I think she needs it, since her firepower is honestly, not too brilliant, even being lenient. It's limited. I guess when you're lacking something, you need something else to make up and mend the hole. I'd like to see her cut lines off some equations. Hee hee. Although the casting time is REALLY SLOW. Ah well, the ultimate nerf.

It's interesting though, I used to watch my dad good old pen 'n paper D&D RP-ing. Those were the good old days, sometimes my dad let me roll the dice too. Ahh... memories.

I could probably remove the old 250Gig PATA drive I have and convert it into an external drive; store my dl-ed game installers and whatever that I don't need to use regularly; or keep those anime that I don't feel is worth re-watching but feel its a waste just to delete.

Ahh...but then in the end. I've got no cash.

Edit: I unconsciously turned this into a semi-backlog smasher. Oh the horror...all of a sudden there's so many text to read. And project documentation not helping, even more text! GAHH!
