Araragi won't necessarily be on the cover of Koyomi Book. After all, even Koyomi Vamp didn't have Araragi on it. It seems all the books have girls on the cover. On the other hand, I think Ononoki's design for Yotsugi Doll should be ready by the time the anime reaches that part. Possibly, that's why we still haven't seen sketches for Ononoki and Kagenui.

I was hoping for more information on Kissshot when they had the final season.

To me, Onimonogatari wasn't enough.

I doubt there will be more info on Kissshot. Araragi has to be related to the story somehow. Possibly, if the First and Ougi are really related, then by mentioning the First Kissshot could be mentioned too, but it is not very likely.

Anyway, assuming the fight with Nadeko would be in Owarimonogatari (the name is the one best suited for it), I think Koimonogatari then will be about Senjougahara getting some anti-Kaii power-up, possibly with the aid of Kaiki.

I've started poking around 2ch and the like for Koimonogatari spoilers. I'll continue to update this post with them as I find them, provided that I feel confident in their veracity vis-à-vis apparent consensus.
These are quite thorough now, actually.

People who've finished reading the book all seem to have one thing to say about it, though:
"Holy shit, guys, we've all been had, we've been tricked—BUT IT WAS REALLY INTERESTING."

There also seems to be something that Nisio's written in the book's afterword that makes everyone feel better about why the book isn't what we all expected it to be.

Spoiler for KOIMONOGATARI: - Hitagi is NOT the narrator of the book: the narrator and main character is definitely (believe it or not) Kaiki. - In order to avoid certain death by Awakened Nadeko's hand, Gahara turns to Kaiki for assistance. - He sets about visiting Nadeko's shrine on a daily basis with offerings of money and alcohol. No one has been visiting the shrine despite recent renovations and an entirely rebuilt temple, so when Kaiki gives a 10,000 bill as an offering, Nadeko bursts out ecstatically, screaming with joy. - (Araragi apparently visited numerous times to try and talk some sense into her, but she kept pretending to be absent, and when he did finally get ahold of her, it seemed like she might kill him then and there, so he just went home.) - Kaiki proceeds to earn her trust by teaching her cat's cradle and being her playmate, and eventually settles upon a method of deception. He's going to try and trick her. - Kaiki refuses when Kagenui tells him not to get involved any further, despite promises of generous monetary compensation, and Kagenui promptly cuts all ties with him. In a completely unrelated incident, Kaiki receives an anonymous letter telling him to wash his hands of the whole affair OR ELSE. - Deciding to do just the opposite, Kaiki breaks into Nadeko's house to gather intelligence / investigate / snoop around, and looks inside her closet of forbidden secrets. - Hanekawa went overseas to look for Oshino, but she comes back to meet with Kaiki and exchange information. - After visiting the shrine with offerings every day for thirty days, Kaiki tries to trick her on the thirty-first day, but fails. Just as it seems like he's about to be killed, Kaiki lets slip that he's seen the contents of Nadeko's freaky-ass closet and she LOSES HER SHIT. - Nadeko secretly fancies herself a mangaka, and her closet is filled with embarrassing hand-drawn material. (If you've read Otorimonogatari, you'll remember that Nadeko is a big admirer of 1980's-era manga.) - With a sermon that would make even a certain Kamijou-san proud, he manages to bring her around. (I'm not sure if the Kamijou reference is from the book itself or if it's just 2ch posters being snide-ass fucks.) - Nadeko decides that she will give up on Araragi and chase her own dreams, and the incident is thusly resolved. - After it's all over, Araragi comes to the shrine to carry Nadeko home. - Similarly to what he did with Tsukihi, Kaiki invents a slug Kaii and forces it upon Nadeko. While the slug grapples with the snake, keeping it busy, Kaiki shoves his fingers deep into Nadeko's mouth and pulls out the charm that she swallowed back in Nadeko Medusa. (There's an "ayatori" pun here, a callback to how Kaiki kindly taught her how to play cat's cradle.) Nadeko returns to normal, and Kaiki returns the thoroughly-slimy charm to Araragi's hand. - At the very end, the middle-schooler that Oshino Ougi tempted and goaded into bringing the snake curse onto Nadeko in the first place suddenly attacks Kaiki, smashing him twice upside the head with a iron pipe. Just before he "loses consciousness," Kaiki realizes that Ougi has been the villain pulling the strings in the background all along, and the book ends. - According to Kaiki, *OSHINO MEME DOESN'T HAVE SIBLINGS.* - At one point, Kaiki says "Come on, there's no way that Araragi only has, like, five people on his side." Oh, poor poor Araragi. - The book quite effectively convinces us that Kaiki is not as despicable a person as we have previously been led to believe, and even manages to make us sympathize with Nadeko quite deeply. - Araragi himself doesn't do anything of consequence over the course of the novel, save for his bit at the end with Nadeko. Kaiki, however, notes that this can't be helped, because Araragi really has no choice but to stay put this time around, for his own good. - Similarly, Hitagi and Hanekawa don't do much at all either. Hitagi calls Kaiki over the phone now and then to share information, but that's it. People who've finished reading the book all seem to have one thing to say about it, though: "Holy shit, guys, we've all been had, we've been tricked—BUT IT WAS REALLY INTERESTING." There also seems to be something that Nisio's written in the book's afterword that makes everyone feel better about why the book isn't what we all expected it to be.
