It's officially '17 platoon' as shown towards end of ep 1.

I saw the first two episodes online and while I was somewhat confused, I enjoyed them very much and look foward to seeing episode 3. The action was sweet and the animation was very well done, I would say the story is great too but I definatly have some questions that need to be answered, but other than that I think I have a new anime

The "harem" comments are mostly jokes. As it's pretty certain this anime is going to focus more on action than anything else. But it's safe to assume quite a few girls will fall for Layfon, who like every Japanese anime character will be totally oblivious and dick-less to the women around him.

They can win the first match that easy only because the opponents don't take them seriously. In novel, Nina comments that opponents look down them too much and don't even bother to set up some traps. If they know Layfon's power, they have tricks to make some hard time for him. Also, the opponent team in anime doesn't seem having a nen-i controller (like Felli), it's kinda weird because nen-i is a basic function for team to work properly.

Next tag is furthur info. about the main team's potential. Big spoiler warning.

Layfon can't beat an entire academy city by himself but team 17 can, or more specifically, if Layfon teams up with a serious Felli.

Nen-i controller has little use in one-to-one or small scale battle, but in large scale battle or special conditions, they are the eyes. No aid from nen-i controller is equivilent to blindness. But eyes are also with different qualities. For one as powerful as Layfon, normal nen-i controllers are nearly useless, Felli is the only one in the academy can aid him.

Team 17 is the trump card because of Layfon AND Felli. It's believed that Felli can reach Heaven Blade level with some practice, if she isn't already on that level.

Well, animes based on visual novels will never cover everything the source material has to offer, and will always skim the details. I think much of what you mentioned will just get glossed over in the anime. So I don't feel everything will follow suit. This mock battle was a perfect example.

Okay, okay. Judging from the above Layfon is not as broken as he seems to be but still incredibly broken nevertheless. Means he's still a badass which is extremely fine to me.

But I would really appreciate it if the major spoilers are kept at minimum, only be exposed if some of us are already desperate enough lol. Maybe minimum spoilers are okay like some of the girls would surely fall for him, for me that's music to my ears.

This isnt looked at as a harem anime(atleast by me), and I wouldnt mind any romance being kept to a minimum. Its just fun arguing the good trait s of some of the leading girls right now.

All the girls have done something that stands out in the show right now(Nina for the tomboyish yet prideful and warm hearted attitude, Mei for alot [LOT xD] of cuteness, Felli for.....kicking a hole and cursing at it)

So i think its natural to discuss there merits until the heart of the story aand action kicks off.

Well , for me if there is or not harem i don't care , i just focus on Layfon , his story and the characters .
But , its not surprising if Layfon got a harem because he becomes the most popular in the city and he's strong so girls easily fall in love ....

Hmmm I dont know what Ririn [that girl that kissed Layfon...] saw... but she saw it by looking at her majesty (the one with green eyes is the real one ^^) but man she is pervered like....

And well it seems that her majesty has a replacement in her squad ^^ one that acts like her when the orginal is not around (when she is haveing fun or relaxing) I wonder what happened between her majesty and Layfon.....

Hmm so there is another strong person in the town that heleped nina... I wonder who is stronger Layfon or him ^^

I completly dont understand what is going on with that scene with shoting.... (they use english too).....

The anime is ecchi and brutal indead.... the scene with younger Nina.... she got pirced by some metal parts... and er right arm was broken... (i think I saw her arm bone... so its the bone broken open) yet she feels guilty that becouse of her 1of the spirits had to sacrafice herself to heal her...

Hmm.... I mentioned ecchi becouse from the preview we see some monster tentacle action >__> (done at micchi and her friend.... they got captured...maybe monster wants to have fun or its his food)..... so again will Lafron came to save them or this time Felli will do something about it....

And looking at the ending... I wonder if her majesty and that silver guy frm ep1 will come to pay a visit to Layfon later

There's another nickname for him in which Felli found to be embarassing to use. I think it was Senko no Rei. Don't know what that is....

We jump to content of volume 6+ right in this ep. Which means everyone who did not read the novels is going to be lost, heck with the last part of the ep taken from the legend of regios even if you read the mean story line you are still going to be a bit lost. With the introduction of our fav ecchi Queen we will see a large part by Meli. given the length of the series I guess we will finish novel 1 at ep 6, and head to original story, or cover bits and pieces of event of 2, 3, 4 end on an open ending at end of volume five.

Jesus christ, that was some of the worst engrish I've heard in a while. Besides that, I wasn't fond of this episode. I don't know why, but it just didn't work for me.
