I hope Hiroshi Tomioka will appear as animation director. For those who have watched Kimikiss, he is a hair fetishist who was responsible of this hair pr0n on the 2nd part of episode 20
By the way pleasant episode as expected.

Jezu chrict, the amount of girls in this is staggering.
Honestly, why don't we ever have two male leads that are both "likeable." (No i'm not talking about whats his face with the porn mag, because he obviously has no chance at romance in this series. The standard "side-character for laughs." Man I wanna vomit at this utter garbage.) Lots of girls to one guy, repetitive and typically bland. Feels like i've watched this recycled set up for the 9th time now. Are we ever gonna get a romance title where there's two guys with a chance with the female line up? Would be infinitely much more interesting when you have a main, and "shadow protaganist." I believe I brought this up on an Angel beats thread with Otonashi and Hinata. The perfect character examples I'd rather have instead of this: Main that 'always' only has one male friend that happens to be the shows laughing stock. *Facepalms.* Fighting over one girl is always great drama too.

What's this!?!?!?
Junichi has a back bone? He's...he's....NORMAL! I need to buy a lottery ticket, something crazy is going on here. On the other end of things, I'm liking a lot of the girls here. Can't wait til the Class Rep and Kaoru arcs. I really like them, although Morishima senpai is growing on me too. Maybe I'm just getting tired of the "too perfect" girls in these shows. |

To be honest I can't remember Kimikiss because the male guys didn't have any moments or traits that stuck in my mind and allowed me retainment memories. If they did have two males with chances then I didn't prefer their personality. Two somewhat "cool / gangster" males is what I'd like to see.
*Looks at how many posts you've had at this title already.* Wow do you love this series or what? Got the game or something?

The fact it seems to be taking the route of "parallel universes" ... that is, several stories of the "what if he chose this path" routes means a much simpler direct plot line and each heroine "wins in her story (unless there's a tragic one in the mix).

Somehow aren't looking forward to the resets. Ah well at least each girl gets lai... er matched seeing as this is an Anime.
(Which actually means we get should be getting, some nice fanservice with each girl slightly less clothen or some-other predicament.) All fan clubs satisfied or what?

Okay... honestly, the OP music made me want to throw up it was so maudlin and the OP artwork was meh. But once the episode got started, the animation/art was decent and the intro was pretty good if predictable "little sister moment".
But then we got the "stupid perv destined not to breed" sidekick showing up.... can the industry not resist this sort of idiot as a sidekick? Ah well... objections made, the episode was pleasant, the voice work relaxing to listen to. I'll at least watch how the arc ends and they sequence to the next "parallel universe" before making any decision. Quote:
I will say I prefer the "parallel universe" idea more than the more-often-done "competition" idea. The writers are so rarely able to integrate various story paths well - and some paths just don't fit with the others. Occasionally, I've seen the "triangle" method work (select 2 for the romance and the rest fade back a bit -e.g. Canvas 2) but its a rare success.

that rejection made me laugh, the guy was asking for it , but i didn't like that girl she was such a frikking biaatch she should have been a bit more conservative about the way she interacted with him but i guess she was leading him on with the "your so nice" crap

(Facepalms) Something like this 2 years back would of been one of my favourite animes but i'm pretty sick of these repetitive character roles by now it's much below my standard. P.S KKPR? Full title? Sounds like something i've watched. Netherless It's something to burn my time on watching. (Sigh)

Kimikiss Pure Rouge. It is hated by most fans of the source material, but the anime was an interesting attempt to integrate storylines by turning the material into an ensemble cast --- basically reblending it into something that some might almost characterize as seinen (older viewers) rather than shounen (younger viewers). It failed from a financial perspective though (the fans didn't buy the DVDs). I enjoyed it for trying something different. This series (Amagami SS) follows the format chosen for the KKPR *manga* adaptation - a series of 'parallel reality' fairy tales. Its probably the safest route and least likely to be controversial or unkind to the characters.
