Ya, since I only use spray can for topcoat and only paint with marker I never worry about cost overrun.

Then again, living in Asia means Gunpla are dirt cheap, unlike in US or Europe.

It's why I say, if you're not into doing custom paints, or painting all your kits with details. It's not great. You still need to hand brush details. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking an airbrush is magic. The major factor is how thin the coats will be. You can make them super thin, with full coverage.

You can get away with a cheap airbrush and still do wonders with it.

Personally what I think will hurt you the most is a good compressor. Those things run for quite abit

That's why I said buying into airbrush is expensive. Not the airbrush itself. You "can" get a seriously good airbrush for $100 USD. Or a great one used from someone who upgrades to an better one. Usually a professional will take great care of their tools, sell for low price.

Just some good advice. Get airbrush with a lot of aftermarket. You'll want fine spray needles. Dual action is a must for models. Gravity fed is best, but you can make do with siphon fed. Get a compressor with a tank. If you have a shop compressor, that works too! Just make sure it has a moisture trap. Water in your air sucks. You can use any compressor. Well... Ok that's a lie. You need to have a regulator on it. Which means you can control the air flow. Most airbrush shouldn't be used with more then 40psi.(the airbrush will say in the manual) Just need the right adapter for your hose.

I actually like the symmetrical weapon on the back as compared to Destiny's armament. And it's so much better than Ootori.

However, my question is, what is the "NOW PLANNING" referring to?

I was planning to take Gunpla slow this year but my list of kits I do want is already way too long.

I am planning to order these 2014 kits at the moment:
MG Turn X
HGUC Full Armor Unicorn [Destroy Mode]
HGUC Banshee Norn [Destroy Mode]
HGUC Sinanju (I know this one is out already but I was waiting to ship it with others together)
I'm also tempted by the MG Build Strike+Universe Booster and I am really trying to not order MG Gundam X since I don't want to doubledip if they announce the Mao version before June.

That's a pretty good list. HG Sinanju is a treat. It's extremely detailed for a hg. It's "big" too.

I really want to get the MG sazabi ver ka... Mess it I'll order it right now.

What's the best version of the MG Unicorn? Not including the Full Armor. I'd rather not buy the FA.

Ver Ova pretty much, its the same as VerKa with some slight improvements to the knee and different markings.

I just realized I did not get a Gundam 3.0 yet, I own all other rx 78-2's (outside of 1.0) MG's so I should fix this..oh...dear...
