Digimon 01. While i love Digimon Tamers to the death, and dun mind announcing that fact out in the public, but Digimon 01 just put me to shame just by mentioning it.

I'm a huge UFO Princess Valkyrie fan. And I'm also a big Guardian Hearts fan. Both are very mindless fanservicey series with relatively little plot, especially the latter. A good dose of cute, sexy, and humor though, and I'm fine with that.

Along those same lines I'm really enjoying Magikano and Kagihime, the former more than the latter. It's my third most desired series this season behind Shana and Fate stay night.

On the other hand I'm not really feeling into Kage Kara Mamoru. Just meh. Yuuna is cute, but I've seen much more memorable airhead characters.

Hamtaro and Ebichu must get together then. Now that would be the ultimate in guilty pleasures.

PS. Please don't kill me.

Sailormoon, Pretty Cure, Robotech, Ebichu, and Digimon Adventures.

In fact, to this day, I'm still actively searching for episodes of the original Digimon series in English.

Eeeexcellent! For that, I'm going to use my Pretty Cure signature once again. (Didn't I introduce you to Pretty Cure? I remember telling you a really exaggerated, kickass synopsis of the story that got you interested.)

Hmmm... the original first season of Yu-Gi-Oh! It's so crappy in every aspect, yet I have some odd facination with it. I think it has something to do with his grandpa's freaky, hypnotizing eyes.

Also, any older OAV's that try to cram way too much into about 45 minutes (Ninja Gaiden being the most recently watched example). It's also some weird facination, and a bit nostalgic.

Yes! But before that Hamtaro needs a superhero form.

Yes. You're guilty of introducing me to PreCure. Because of you my PreCure habit was exposed to billions on this board and I may never recover from the abject humiliation. I hope you're proud of yourself.

Nope, superheroes needs someone to save after all. It works quite well. Ebichuman can be Hamtaro's sexual savior.

Funny, I'm doing it reverse. When I'm depressed, I usually watch depressing series (or listen to depressing songs). No, don't ask me why, I don't understand it either. And my guilty pleasure is...well...I like romantic series. Drama and comedy as well. I just can't help it I guess.

(Also, I know that it is not directly anime, but does liking 2 (two) Morning Mosume songs count as guilty pleasure?...)

Sure! Insert favorite yaoi/shounen-ai title here! _________

Kannazuki No Miko as well. I bet a lot of people would think I was either THAT way or just plain bizarre in the head for watching it...

I'm actually doing the same thing. when my mood goes down I usually watch anime or read manga with the same theme, but my guilty pleasure will not be drama/romantic anime (or even idols or even) cause I think all of my friend already know
the first guilty pleasure I think it has to be fate stay night ><
its just because I have a debate with my friend who crazy about typemoon stuff (and all his Fate Stay Night propaganda) while I am a big fan of KEY (the creator of AIR, Planetarian, Kanon and Clannad)
and said that only KEY can create a "dark" story in their bishoujo game. I dont know anything about typemoon and its work that tume.. and now I ended up downloading fate stay night (even earlier than him )
the second guilt goes to.. gakuen alice ^ ^ (what sould I say, I found it interesting tough I once swear that I will never consume any kodomo anime ^ ^)

Ok, guilty pleasures...
Kanazuki no Miko: I can not believe I liked that Anime. First, it has Mecha, and I hate Mecha. It has Mecha that makes no sense, so I should hate it more. It has a wierd plotline that only halfway makes sense and makes me think the producers had a nice time around a table smoking some Quebec Gold...
... guess the romance between Himiko and Chikane was the clincher... or maybe having a Guy/Girl/Girl love triangle was innovative enough

Digimon 1, 2, and Tamers: ...see in my Fanfiction.net profile? That's a Digimon Tamers fanfic. An awful one, to boot.
*sigh* I'm a sucker for the dark elements of those series... I wish Frontier had taken a turn for the lovecraft

Sailor moon: I watched some, a lot actually, taped it on VHS to watch it because by the time it aired, I had to go 15 minutes later). Stopped watching it when she started to smack monsters around with a giant heart, though.

Hm... anything else... Oh yeah. He Is My Master. I blame a guy at school who calls himself "hentaigod", has a computer called Chii and a tacky pink Chobits pencilcase (I kid you not) for corrupting me to this anime. XD

...and yeah, I know wierd people...

I'd have to say Pretty Cure. I find the fight scenes to be really predictable(to be expected of a kids show really), a lot of thought has obviously gone into making it an advertisement for selling products. It has actually surprised me in this regard.

Spoiler:

I really enjoy the scenes outside of battle though, where the characters go about their daily lives. It's also a feel-good anime in my eyes. When ever I've finished watching an episode I almost always feel better.

I would say that most Romantic Comedies, considering that I'm a straight high-school guy. I tend to avoid mentioning that I watch anime to people I don't know really well because it has a bad rep. (pshh!). Burn up W definatly qualifies as guilty pleasure. And the whole anime=porn thing. I've met a bunch of people who thing that. Its probably because Japanese culture is so preverted, anime series tend to obsess over the panty-shots and the accidental touching of the breasts and the constant peeping toms. And because many anime series have nudity, thats why those who know little about anime think of it as porn, or because they have seen pop-up adds for hentai.
