13 and 16, thats not "too" bad.

You can think of it like this. When Honoka is a first year High Schooler, Tanimoto is going to be a 3rd year.

I think its obvious that the author is intent on making Tanimoto, Kenichi's brother-in-law in the future, lol. Besides, if Kenichi's mom is of any indication, Honoka is gonna be hot when she gets older.

I have a couple questions for those who had read up to the latest chapter(300 something). Is the manga still fighting YOMI? Has anyone been killed(On the good guy side)? I heard that some of the YOMI members enter the school, but not all of them are there to destroy everything. Last is does this manga seem like it will end within a year or so?

Basically the main reason I am reading the series. More mangas need to have characters like him.

Yeah the "battle" with YOMI is still going on. Actually its mainly between Kenichi and the pony tail guy.

Only if he's held back a year. But since he's mostly using her as a replacement goldfish little sister, I guess it's OK?

It'd be awesome if he keeps up with all the fighter kids in small ways. Like when they were running for some reason, and Nijima could keep up with Kenichi and would claim he could outrun Kenichi if it were fleeing moments. Sure, it's a joke, but this series is the type that can turn a joke into something serious.

Fact is, Kenichi is = super no talent and ordinary. While Nijima is a damn alien almost. It'd be epic if even a side story he can be developed and acknowledged as a rival for Kenichi. Someone who is almost the exact opposite. I'm not saying I want him to be a super fighter, but I want him to have certain skills such as dodging (which he does have already) to be at almost a master level and be acknowledged for it. It'd be like Excalibur in Soul Eater. SUPER POWERFUL AND UNDEFEATABLE, yet completely USELESS. In the case of Nijima, every time he'd have something superior to Kenichi, it'd be something really funny to reference to, like say his running, or his power scanner eyes LOL. More of this shit needs to be done. It's great =]

For YOMI, there is only Tiret that Kenichi is primarly focusing on. I do not know about the person that has taken Sho's place as leader, but it looks like there will be another battle between YOMI and the Shimpaku Alliance.

You know I do wonder when Daddy is going to find out that a high schooler is hanging around his daughter.

Frankly he reminds me of a mellowed and settled version of Duke Togo aka Golgo 13.

I think daddy wouldn't be too worried, he doesn't seem to dot on his daughter as he does on his son. Although Dad mode might trigger, and force him to marry her when she comes of age (16)

I think he was worried enough when she hung out with Apachai. Mostly, though, she seems more reliable than her brother, who's got "victim" written all over him.

Yeah, Kenichi had always been a victim, so cause for concern exist. While Honoka is naturally an ass kicker, so concern isn't necessary.
