Favorite character? (1st season)
Just curious, do you people have something like a favorite character at this point of the anime? I wrote "1st Season" in the title, in consideration for someone who votes now and just might change his opinion later on during the rest of the series; we still haven't reached the half yet after all. And I'm saying 1st season because we're at episode 25 and it ended with an entire recap-episode and the next part of the story will be... different. Yeah.

No love for Eva.
She can be more interesting than most of the others. I like the ways that she gets developed, but I'm not basing that entirely on the "first season" (which is a misleading term here, since it has nothing to do with TV seasons at all). |

Runge got my vote.
His face is funny, his fingers can dance pretty well, his mind is full of Tenma, he is obessed with Tenma, he is becoming Tenma, he is Tenma. Anyways, runner up will be Eva, I disliked her character so much when she dumped Tenma earlier, now, her character is more acceptable. |

Eva edges Runge as my favorite character by a pair of titties
She wasn't too much of a character in the earlier episodes, fairly minor, but as the series aged, and became involved in alcoholism, bitterness, and self-hatred, I began to enjoy her character very much. I can relate with her and know people like her. I also enjoy her facial expressions and body language. I also liked the older gentleman with the mustache who was Nina Fortner's boss at the restaurant mainly because of his personality and of course, facial expressions and body language. The part that made him stop killing people was also another factor. I think that's what makes this anime so involving. The body language and detail of the characters and their personalities. It's done so extremely well that it almost seems as if they're real people. |

Yeah, I'm surprised to see that Tenma is so popular. I mean, I like him in some ways too, but he's just a pretty boring protagonist in my opinion. I was also surprised to see Runge with 12 votes *heh*
Oh by the way, I voted for Johann. He's exactly the kind of character I like... and it's also mainly because of him that Monster is this amazing, I think. |
