Problem is when you start getting shot at from an unknown source, it becomes a life saver when you can track the tracers back where they're shooting at you, apecially if there are TDs or the hateable french/chinese lights that take advantage of the camo values.

My love for the T-25 continues and me and Blaat managed to pull a nice flank maneuver up behind a bunch of tier 6 heavies and set them into disarray.
Also had an awesome game in the Comet too with both of us harassing an IS2 and Tiger II to death by our selves, I have a replay of our shenanigans but mwotreplays seems to be down. Finally being able to fit the new turret and gun to the comet made a bit of a difference and being able to hug hills with the depression is handy indeed.

So, what with all the bonuses going on, it seemed like a good time to put a crew back into the T29 (whose first crew went through the T32 to the M103, and whose second crew is now in the T32).
Azusa was already in the RTO position from before, so I just rebuilt the rest of Rabbit team around her (if I'd been really picky I would have put them back into their actual roles, but since that was already messed up it didn't seem to matter that much). I got the ELC AMX late last night and I have to say it's quite the fun little tank. Plays just like a Tank Destroyer. But 5x faster. Obviously doesn't have the same punch as a TD, but the harassment ability is beyond amazing. Plays a lot like a higher-tier Pz. I C, but more maneuverable. Get in, score a hit or two, then get the hell out. People will try to catch you, but most of the time they can't because the ability to zig-zag in this tank while still maintaining high speed is pretty darn impressive.
Biggest downside is the turret that's not fully revolvable and thin armor, but it just takes some getting used to. That is, learning to rely on speed, maneuverability, and quick-thinking rather than derp and heavy armor. (I've been playing my Lowe too much, lol.)

The "I have time to type this?" moment of the night: I ended up being the last person alive on the Mines hill, in my T-43, trying to keep the enemy distracted while my team shot at them. Finally the opposing AT15A isn't going to stay tracked any longer and begins to march up toward me. I bounce a hurried shot off some random portion of its hull, then back up, think, load APCR, and aim directly at the weak spot in the middle of the gun mantlet. Shot kills the AT.
I set cruise control so arty doesn't kill me and type out "thermal exhaust port." |

..And, looks like work is going to be incredibly busy for the next few months.
So I'm hereby announcing my semi-retirement from WoT for a while. If you see me on, feel free to ridicule me for failing to stick to my words..
