Since both of them doesn't actually give you extra chakura, they just let you utilize more of your body's chakura for a short time, aren't they essentially the same? Except the curse seal doesn't require training, you just have to let Oro suck your neck *shrudder* while you have to work really hard to gain the ability to open Chakura Gates. Also, they both make you look buffed and evil.

there 2 entirely different things... When some1 goes CS lvl2 they change skin color and their body changes physically. When u open up the gates u turn red and ur body just gets jacked. Also we dont know exactly what the curse seal does to the victim.

Not sure but wasn't it mentioned that the curse seal draws out every last bit of chakra and more at a time(hence the fast drainage and the immobility afterwords for it drains every list bit of chakra).

yea, the seal drains your chakra/stamina faster, but in turn, makes it more potent, allowing you to have power you normally wouldn't, but at the cost of you only being able to fight for like half as long as you could without the seal. and then there's the thing about taking away your free will.

The curse seal is sorta a cheap man's version of the chakra gates, in my opinion. Overall, it's not as good, but is easier to use.

And for what i've seen from what it does, it isn't as dangerous as opening the gates. But it also lets your suffer more than normal after using it.

Well the gates you can control how much you open. BUt either way won't losing your free will to someone as... as Orochimaru be more suffering? Both in pyschical and mental sense for however much he wishes like look at what he did to Anko.
