Episode 10 and 11 were really good. I'm glad that the 2 parter concluded the Lake Zone arc instead of the usual three. The pacing was better and I think it is the best arc so far. Everyone got his or her development, especially Akari.
We got some new players, namely the Knightmon and PawnChessmon. I really like Knightmon, kinda narmmy. Shoutmon x4 Plus looks great, I hope it's not the last time we see him. Not interest in Bastemon at all. Also, MetalGreymon kicked so much ass and Kiriha was really cool. I wish there will be Blue Flame centric episodes later on. Lilithmon was ok...she's a bit crazy. The Daipenmon was all kind of awesome Now...2 weeks long wait

Was some nice development for Akari. Can't really blame her not feeling needed there. With Taiki holding the Xros Loader the other humans have limited usefulness.

Kiriha reminds me of kaiba from yugioh..
Akari and Zenjirou doesn't seem to feature much. Wonder what;s their fate? Stay as sidekick to taiki? Xros heart is more about unity is strength. Many of small digimon unite to overcome hurdles. Pickmon and starmon are small and cute. Shoutmon is another funny digimon. LOL at him getting thrown rock by cutemon. |

So I've been watching this series since it started, and so far, it's pretty good. Not quite up to the level of the original Adventure, but definitely enjoyable, and I feel it's been getting better and better for each episode, with the latest two-parter being completely epic. And they finally gave all the human leads a chance to shine, yay! (Akari's complete lack of plot-significance has been one of my biggest problems with the show so far, so I'm glad to see they finally gave her something to do.)
Also, I've just finished translating the three songs on the We Are Xros Heart single that came out a few days ago... Spoiler for We Are Xros Heart!:
Spoiler for Blazing Blue Flare:
Spoiler for Dondokomon de Moriagare!!:

I have a question, why is there no legal streaming method to watch this show subbed, and when will there be a legal way to watch it subbed?
(I am not complaining or anything, I prefer downloading)

Episode 12. Sand Zone and the Great Adventure in the Ruins
Hi, minna-san!
The long, month wait's over. This week Digimon Xros Wars resumed with its twelfth episode's broadcast. My thoughts about this episode were that broke the formulaic pattern of the first episodes, and it was so hilariously funny. Spoiler:
Regarding the formulaic pattern getting broke... Spoiler:

This series has picked up the pace. The Sand Zone started off lame, but with Baalmon's backstory and evolution into Beelzebumon, it was awesome. It gets even better in episode 15, first chapter of Heaven Zone. We were quickly thrown into some serious fights and plot development and X4B made his first appearance here. He looks far better animated compared to the toy. I am eager for the next episode, DarkKnightmon!!!

Yeah things have definitely picked up. Though was surprised by X4B. Thought a combination with Beelzebumon would involve getting wings. Instead gets four legs...nothing outright wrong with that, just surprised. Well guess technically they have wings, just not very prominent ones.

Episode 14. Warrior Beelzebumon Dances!!
So, in a short span of two episodes we got another thundering, awesome, and awestruck super-episode like it was for the double-episode 10-11.
The production values skyrocketed by the second-half of this episode, and the music was not only enjoyable but superb to my liking, for example, two scenes: Taiki healing Ba'almon, and Ba'almon urging Taiki to get to his friends. Splendid. Spoiler:
Ba'almon's past was fairly fleshed and complimented several aspects of his current personality, although it felt a little cheap that the writers chose to deliver all-out of Ba'almon's past in one episode; for both Dorurumon and Cutemon's flashback stories they were delivered bits of their pasts in several episodes before the big pie was revealed. |

Episode 15. Heaven Zone, Deception in Paradise!
Seen the fifteenth episode.
This was a very best episode. Dondokomon, at last, had a major role with the course of the plot's issue for this episode. The highlight was the definite: Spoiler:
Anyone knows the name of the new Digi-Xros theme played when Shoutmon X4B battled SlashAngemon? |
