Personally I hope they take there time to bring Ichigos powers back and that this arc will help restore some story to the series.

It is actually a epic way to end the year because now we have to wait for Tite to get all the soul reapers back so thanks Kubo for giving us a epic build up!!

Just an FYI - the no Bleach till Jan isn't Kubo's doing. Shonen Jump is going on their yearly winter break.

New Years is a big holiday here and for most working folk it's the only time of year they actually get vacation time.

TK Office Party (Kubo view): Kubo, his assistants, and scads of hot chicks dancing, singing, and carrying on. The cops have to break up the party twice, but end up staying themselves and joining the party. Then the ninjas show up...

TK Office Party (outside view): Kubo and his assistants sit around in a drug-addled daze, drooling...

As for Chad, there is literally no one in this series less likely to pull a heel turn. I'd expect an Orihime turn first... If he's involved in this, it's as a (prospective) victim or it's not really him. Of course, Tite Kubo is still writing this...

I really don't care about Ichigo anymore...

bring me Urahara, Ai-chan, Isshin... even Ryuuken... those are who hold the keys to understand Bleach, Ichigo is just cannon fodder at this point. he doesn't control anything about his life, Luffy, Naruto, they know who they are and why they fight...

I'm not a hater... i just don't care about Ichigo, i want to know why all these events... from Ai-chan's plans to Isshin's real past (and why he knows Ryuuken).

i agree that more lore and back story would be interesting than watching ichigo get his groove back over the course of what will probably be 25 chapters.

Yes I think instead of joining up with Excution, i would have be a WHOLE lot more interested for Ichigo to confront his father and/or Urahara and give us backstory... i think that's what urks me the most about this current plotline, Ichigo jumps right into trusting the mysterious strangers instead of atleast first trying his own much more trusted sources
