Ah I see, that's where the rep is at... I think two AnimeSuki wipes ago I had two green dots, and I was happy. People don't give much rep in the tech support forum these days, seems like I'll never get it back.

@ SasukeYou can't, ever since a long time ago there have been no more new Moderators. While I'm sure the group and it's apropriate access rights are still registered in the forum it has not been in use. Eks said when a few new sMods were "recruited", something along the lines that there is no need to limit their (as in appointed sMods) powa.. so in short nobody is becoming a mod any time soon. To expand on this, you can't become a sMod (as in Super Moderator) either... why? simple.. the idea with mods is that you appoint people to certain sections you *know* they would care about enought to keep clean.. the problem with super mods is that you have to be sure they'll bahave everywhere else as well.. So, it's very unlikly the staff will apoint anyone that's not active (I do mean active) and has been so for about 2 - 2.5 years. While the forum has some issues like lisence material etc.. they are not hard to mentain and not a bother when they slip thru either; spam, trolls etc aren't much of threat either (compared to other places) so be sure they're likely very elitistic when choising new sMods. > " i never asked to become one i said HOW can you be one?"By simply changing the group *you* belong to in the forum, thus gaining new rights. Or you could have been registered/added straght to that group. You know, nobody would care to ask the question you asked unless (s)he wanted to be one.. When you use singular it means your thinking of yourself, plural would have said you just wanna know. ------------------------------------------ @ Rikie - Thanks for fixing the animation~ on that thing.

This is based entirely on the posting habbits of our members. We analyze which threads are getting enough posts over a regular period of time and then give that show its own forum.

If I may ask a stupid question, How does one put the spoiler thingy around your post? Cause I goofed once and I felt like a keel. Like if I were about to say something that could be a potential spoiler, how do I put it in that clickable thingy-ma-bob?

you write [ s p o i l e r = whatever] at the beginning of the post, and at the end of the part you want to be in the spoiler tag you write [ / s p o i l e r ] (Without the spaces between characters)
You end up with Spoiler for whatever:
... and you can simply quote some ones post to see what type of code tags he has used to get whatever effect

OK, here's one. Does anybody belong to a "public group?" Just what the hell is a public group, anyway? Do we have any here on AS? I was feeling left out until I started looking at some member profiles and discovered no one seems to be in a public group.
Oh, and NSW, thanks for creating that spoiler button! After nagging you all for this innovation from time to time, I only hope it really does cut down on inadvertent spoilers. It'd be a shame to see all your fine work go for naught.

Hm, isn't a public group something that gives you access to an otherwise hidden/inaccessible part of the forums? I don't think something like that exists (except for mods and admins... but thats not a public group, rather an exclusive circle )

Yeah, that's what a public group is. There aren't many groups on this site. No golden award for long time members to enter secret forums where they can discuss the forbidden secrets of anime or fansubbing. That is a mostly unimplemented function here.
Actually it was NightWish who created the button. I'm just the one who nagged NightWish to make the button.

Silly Question. (Opera 9.20)
How can I completely remove the Find in Page (f) (located in Searches)... I just can't seem to delete it.. Not like it's effecting me much but I don' wann it there. I love to use " . " for page searches. Somehow I don't think me not being able to delete it is a bug..
