Ahhh, I agree with this so much. I can't believe the amount of emotion that revisiting old scenes still manages to provoke... It really is an amazing series. So much impact... If anything, my love and fondness for it only manages to grow, and every time I go back to look at it, the emotions are always so strong...

This has kinda been bugging me lately but does that senior guy from Fumoffu (episode 4) appear again, you know in any of the short stories or anything?

I for one certainly hope not, I mean he couldn't even defend Kaname from a few untrained yakuza whereas Sousuke was able to fight off the entirety of Jindai High's rival rugby team WITHOUT weapons and come out without a scratch.

Not AFAIK. But it's a bit silly to judge a character's worth based on his arsenal of crazy ass moves; I don't think it's implied anywhere that the guy's supposed to be a fighter anyway.

Judging a character's worth really wasn't my aim. I mean despite how much damage Sousuke causes, Sousuke loves and protects her and she loves him in return. I just think that Sousuke is the better choice as far as Chidori love life is concerned.

I'm not expecting Sousuke and Kaname to marry each other. I've seen the anime and read the novels however I can't shake this feeling that Kaname may end up with some other guy in FMP Another.

I am actually surprised that you have this feeling. I for one am absolutely sure Sosuke and Kaname are together and will never part again. Why would you think Kaname may end up with some other guy?

In the Fumoffu the senior acknowledges he isn't really the right fit for Kaname either way so unless we're in for a really stupid twist I don't suppose she'll be with that guy, at the very least.

The whole point of FMP was "Boy Meets Girl." It's Sousuke and Kaname's story. Whatever other travesties have occurred in FMPAnother, Sousuke and Kaname NOT being together is very unlikely to be one of them.

......But even optimistic little me can't help but to acknowledge there's a chance... I mean, look how thoroughly Kurz's character has been destroyed... Everything that made him 3-dimensional, GONE.... gah... Q____Q

(But, really, the only reason I have even a shred of doubt is because of how butchered Kurz's character as become... It's hard to not worry when there is a precedent of characters being destroyed.......)

We were talking about FMP Another. .....More or less same diff. I'm having a hard time getting into it... Don't care as much about the story, not so emotionally invested in the main characters, and the old characters that came back have had their personalities butchered, so....

Meh.

Sigma has not been licensed in my country. So me and my friends are currently making a quality free fan-translation of the manga for my compatriot fans. It has been what, almost a decade since I saw it first, but today, during the works on the script of a chapter, when I saw the infamous kissing scene on the roof with Leonard - it was "ME ANGRY!!! ME SMASH PUNY GIRLY MAN!!!!" once again. Very few things have such an impact on me, and FMP is one of them. There is just admiration for a good thing and there is crystal clear, pure love for the story and characters one holds close to his heart. So people like me are not just fans, we love FMP, and this love is everlasting. Just one of those moments, sorry
