Ririchiyo's great. And excellently played by Hidaka Rina. HanaKana's doing a wonderful job with Karuta. Mamo-chan is brilliant as Zange. The shower scene at the beginning of ep9 was very well drawn and put together. But the humour in general doesn't do enough for me. And Souta and their relationship are just so stalled. Kind of disappointing.

I still can't remember a damn thing except that Q&A session where Soushi proves his stalkerness. And yea... they really didn't hold back with all the moe outfits and certain pervy shots. :3

Seems to me that Inu x Boku has pretty much punted on trying to have any narrative structure at all, and it just stringing together silly gags, kawaii bombs and fanservice randomly. And amazingly, that's really working for me.

Welp, Riri was dangerously close to giving me cardiac arrest. The series itself is nothing special but Riri fan-service sure makes up for what it lacks in everywhere else...

Though I will say that it's pretty funny at time. And most of the other characters are easy to handle. And this is coming from someone who generally ends up hating most of the cast by the end of a series.

Really still enjoying the easy going slice of life feel of this show, good downtime from all the other stuff.

The mime parts were too funny and the last part, those are some sweet prizes....expect maybe the holiday

The problem with making Ririchiyo so goddamned delicious is that it undermines the comedy of Soushi's obsession. Before it was hilarious how he fawned over her, but now I'm all "I so get you, man. High-five."

Cracked up at Nobara's studious note-taking on Ririchiyo's preferences. I also kept waiting for Watanuki and Karuta to ditch the partners competition to have their dinner date. Other than that, the highlight for me was Ririchiyo trying to get everyone back on task when "Kage-sama's" game turned into a potato bug drawing competition. They are an easily distracted bunch, aren't they? Riri is such a great tsukkomi.

If I recall correctly, Crunchyroll's translator was pretending Nobara's "maniac" catchphrase doesn't exist. Anyone who's seen the episode with CR's translation want to fill me in on how the heck the translator handled that this episode?

They just added it in. I think they translated it as "Yes, maniac!" or something.

Karuta never seems to get fat, even at certain parts of her body, even though she seems to indulge herself in food! Ririchiyo was adorable in gesture-making, shame though that Sou did not take some photos of her while she was at it.

My speculation as to Soushi's secret is one that probably others share: Soushi is the one who wrote the letters to Ririchiyo. Since I'm pretty that's his secret, I'm more interested in how Ririchiyo will react to the revelation. Knowing her penchant for saying what she doesn't mean, she'll likely say something hurtfully devastating and then spend what time is left in the series trying to figure out how to put things right again. Maybe then, we'll finally get our coffee scene.

I found the resolution very appropriate, fit the characters to the 'T' but my gut feeling is that many won't like it. Guess we'll find out in 7 days.
