Mikage? You mean Teito, right? Yeah, Teito has the highest possibility of being the final Ghost.

Although it's called Ghost, the ghost actually refers to the Gods of Death or Shinigami.

It's not as fun to theorize on this show because the manga's out, so any ideas I have can be quickly shot down and answered, which risks me getting spoiled , but here I go again. :O

So, if Frau is one of the 7, it's not too far a leap to conclude that Castor and Labrador are also part of the 7. As I sat through and watched the ED credits (IDK why I did, since I avoid looking at OP and ED most of the time because some of them are so spoilerific) I noticed that Teito's dad (I'm almost 100% sure it was his dad) makes an appearance in the pool. WTF? That has to mean Teito's dad is still alive and will play an active role in the plot. I'm willing to say that his dad is part of the 7 too.

^ I think there is more chance of Teito being a Ghost than his father coming back...but you never know. It's just that he seemed so dead in the flashback

I've read the manga, but don't worry, I won't spoil you. As to the title, the manga hasn't answered my question yet either - so we're both still in the dark.

It is possible that Castor and Labrador are part of the 7, since they do have powers similar to Frau (and almost equal screen time ). Well, Teito's Father appearing in the OP and ED doesn't mean that he will come back to life because obviously he was killed by Aya-tan. Sometimes they include dead characters in the OP and/or ED. But if Teito's Father does return to life I would be WTH? HOW?!

But there is a question also that since the 7 ghosts are Shinigami...so they're not really human are they?

If they aren't human, and Teito's dad is one of the 7, did he even really die? O__o Well, I had thought that his dad wouldn't play much of a role anymore in the series, but I now think he does due to the ED. So I guess he might not come back to life per se, but he'll show up and shake things up in a major way. My thoughts are that if they are ghosts, then they are not human. But this logic may be waaayyyyy too simplistic. :O

And how ironic is it that Death is also a bishop? LOL

I think Fia Kruez appears in the ending because he ends up being the driving force behind most of Teito's actions.

Shinigami in anime are usually people who have died, if the shinigami here are the same, I think we can safely assume they're all dead. Castor is definitely dead, if the most recent chapters are anything to go by.

I think I can safely say this, go look at the little pictures they show before and after the commercial breaks and look for the one that comes after (the subs I saw this time had it so I can give a link if need be). That answers the question and I'm surprised no one noticed it before.

The one slightly annoying thing we'll have to deal with now for a few episodes is emo Teito. After a certain other blonde shows up though, the emoness goes away (mostly).

I think this is not the first time I see this question. Even in the manga when I saw those three I imediatly recognised them as main characters. After I heard the story of the seven ghosts in a later chapter I imediatly assumed they were three of them.

Well, it's more like that's what most people assumed as well but had no proof for a while. And proof is a very good thing to have when making theories, makes them work out better in the end.

Somehow, I am glad that Mikage is dead, because I am starting to feel bored with all his scenes with Teito. I would not have minded so much if not for Teito kept repeating the same thing over and over about the oath. Or maybe it is just me. Anyway, the show is finally moving on now, so I am looking forward again. I have been losing interest lately, and recent episode has renewed my interest again.

Wow, I was not expecting that at all. No wonder you guys were giggling about a "little pink spoiler" a few pages back. I thought, oh, he gets a little creature for a pet, why is it such a spoiler?! And now, I know! I must say, I was pretty much "WTF?" when it showed up. I wrongly thought that Mikage was still alive and that the rest of the series would involve: 1) beating the crap out of Aya; 2) taking his rightful place at the throne 3) save and find the light of his life, retrieve Mikage's spirit roaming around and bring him back to human form.

So, I guess this means Mikage is REALLY dead, as in NEVER coming back in his human form. That makes me sad, because now a character that I was so invested in for the last 9 eps will no longer be around. Gah, I knew Mikage's day was coming, but did not see the reincarnation theme.

I would have liked to see a scene of just utter tragic hatred emanating from Teito toward Aya the moment that Teito realized M was dead.

Also, this might be really obvious, but I don't get why Frau is Teito's master now? I thought Mikage put that necklace on?

And if Mikage really wanted to protect Teito, wouldn't at least coming back in human form (or even anything bigger ) be more effective toward this goal? Unless that pink thing has some special powers -- it would be awesome if it did. I want some laser beams!

Yeah, that would be why everyone was keeping so quite over the pink thing, although wow, I haven't heard any creature with a voice that high since pokemon. Since he hasn't shot laser beams yet it I don't think he has that power, sorry.
And Frau is Tetio's "master" now because the necklace bite him and that apparently overrides Ayami/Mikage's previous power over him. Although I really wonder why Tetio doesn't have the necklace bite him so he could order it to come off...

Frau got bitten by accident. Sort of like a fingerprint, this is a bloodprint. Whose blood was taken becomes the master - and there are a few advantages to being the master.
