Yup, japanese people like it when characters go to their "emo" phase. I expect her to climp up to the top. Or she does something cool in the next few chapters, which I'm praying to happen.

Well I guess Ichi and Ruki will stay in the top 5 and Ulq will definetly be in the top 10 (maybe Grim and Ran as well)
I'm not sure about Orihime in the top 10 though. I often go to japanese bleach sites and most people are complaining about her, but who knows. After all, some people love characters like her

Definitely Ulq or Grim will make the top 10, I don't see Ichigo going anywhere and Orihime will probably drop quite a bit because of what she does in upcoming episodes.

From what I see in Japanese blogs and sites Uliqiorra, Grimmjaw, Rangiku, Shinji and Hiyori will move up and Chad, Renji and Orihime will move down (but I still think Renji will be in the top 10. Orihime might move down since she just made it in the top 10 last time)

Yeah all the great characters die and in that way turn into martyrs or get immortalized be it Teresa Hughes or Kaien. If you overanalyze and let your imagination, run wild a comparison could be drawn between Teresa and Kaien. Both were mentors and their ghosts still haunt the protagonist. That is the hurdle they both have to overcome and Rukia has already buried her demons from the past with Espada 9 .

Kaien's Never Die Alone was best speech in Season 2 of the manga I am crossing my fingers and hoping Kaien gets voted instead of Espada9. I can predict Kaien/Espada9 is in top 20 and if we get lucky the voters might shock us and get Kaien in top 10

Even if Renji's not going to be in the top 5 I bet he will be in the top 10. Oh, and lets not forget about Aizen!

Yeah Renji is sure to feature in top 10 he has lot of frame time in the manga . With Arrancars introduced we might be pleasantly shocked at the results

Lol, as long as Ichigo, Rukia and Renji are in the top 5 I won't complain

I actually think Ori will stay in the top 10 because even though alot of people are starting to hate her, those people's vote don't count since it's a 'popularity poll'.
And since these last few chapters were focused a little on her she might make it in the top 10.

rukia definitely rises. Ichigo stays in the top spot, hitsugaya *MIGHT* drop abit cause he's been out of action for awhile. But because he has had so much spotlight in the older chapters (current anime arc), he might maintain his position. Ori's story might touch many fans, but she's polar opposites to rukia, so i dont see her rising much. Chad's probably in the 20s to 30s cause he's such a failure. Ishida/ryuuken probably will be in the top 20s.

Nell enters top 20 at least. Ulquiorra, grimmjow probably enter top 10. Aizen, gin and tousen have a high possibility for top 20s, and i get a feeling Halibel's getting some high placings... Here's hoping that kaien at least gets into top 10.

Same here. I like him and find him an awsome character but he's apearing too often in the fillers, and I bet the up-coming movie will be all about him

will somebody go tell the anime + movie makers that even though hitsugaya is popular but HE IS NOT THE ONLY POPULAR ONE there are other characters too and now i feel like the anime team is sucking shiro-chan's popularity just to temporaryly help the TV ratings

Well they ALL go with the ratings. Flame the anime all you want, but Kubo probably did the same by letting hitsugaya be the leader of the shinigami team. He's probably staying within top 5 anyway.

Toshiro is the most popular non main character in Bleach . KT hasnt over used him the anime team has . I cant at times understand the hate he is not an irritating character .
