My PC (Windows 8.1) is set up as a DLNA server mainly to stream music to stationary audio systems in my house. I would like to set up my Android tablet (Galaxy Tab S2) so that it can be a portable DLNA player. I figure a DLNA player app will do the trick nicely. But which app? Any recommendations? I want an app that works reliably, is relatively small, and a UI that isn't too complex.

I use BubbleUPnP for the DLNA client and MXPlayer to watch the videos.

MX Player is without a doubt the android app for watching video I prefer.

Hm. I wrote a post just after SeijiSensei posted. I guess when my internet dropped, the post didn't go through. I said then that I remember seeing BubbleUPnP in the app list and will check it out.

I'll look into MX Player as well although I don't play to watch any video at this point. I'm mostly looking at a way to play music upstairs on occasions. In the future though .... who knows?
