He did learn something about her past which is far from happy one despite having all the riches and lately she wasnt really mean to him as well (she increased being mean only after he himself screwed up with his coldhearted words).

Yuki is way too frustrated for someone who is supposed to get his from Kano. No, most likely he isnt getting anything from her despite them walking together and thats why he is so frustrated.

Is this the right generalization of their relationship??)

And Nitta fell into her trap, whats worse he wants to end the relationship with kano at this point too.

Kano is getting all irritated and annoyed and is taking out on Nitta, who as always fails to see things and misunderstands the situation. Step-mother really look like a scheming bitch.
