Showing those yuri pictures to someone who is not familiar with Macross F and they may very well say that Alto-hime looks rather delightful as a girl. It's when you know he's a guy that you view the picture strangely. It's a pretty good pic considering.

Yeah, Kina's right, I'm not that active when it comes to picture hunting. Don't ever trust me to share the Pretty and the Shiny in Skull Fairy fanart when I come across them. Kina and Natsuki, I'll leave that to you as both of you are doing a splendid job at running the image thread.

I saw one artist who drew the most appealing male!Sheryl illustration; I commented it around here somewhere.

Also, Kina, thanks for the yaoi pic, sweets, but Brera x Alto isn't really my cup of tea. (BL in Macross isn't really my thing, as I'm really picky about my BL pairings just as I am with my het pairings. )

You know actually this picture isn't half bad at all. In fact despite the negative vibes around Ranka at this point in the season, I find this picture touching. Ranka looks so much better as an adult and so does Alto. This picture should make any Ranka-shipper spasm with delight. While I am a Sheryl x Alto supporter now at the end, I still like this picture very much.

However I would also like to see a similar picture with Sheryl as the wife and mom. Just because I think it's only fair to see what both look like.

There is actually a whole bunch, but for some reason, most depict Ranka as their child.

I can imagine, aside from the cute factor. Knowing everything up until now makes you look at the matter a little bit differently I suppose. I can't help but feel the regression in all of those Ranka x Alto pictures even though some of them like the one before, as killroy noted, are quite good.
