Your Most Favourite Anime Animal/Pet
As most of you have known, every anime comes along with an animal. For Example: In Happy Lesson, you'll see Kana's Dog, and the cute chicks. In Love Hina you'll see Tama-chan. In EVA you'll see Penguin.
Any anime comes with a animal mascot, thus, which anime animal/pet/non human creature you like the most? I Like Witts from DN Angel... it just so adorable and cute.... i just wish i have one pet like Witts. |

For the cuteness factor: Ryo-ohki, from Tenchi Muyo!. Plus it's handy to have a pet that can turn into a spaceship.
For the humor: Chu-chu, from Revolutionary Girl Utena. He can bring the frog and mini-alligator-thing along, too. I'm also liking the cat from Maria-sama ga Miteru with the multiple names. It seems like a very independant critter, even for a cat. |

I have to agree with Holliganj about Ryo-ohki on the cuteness factor. But I have others I liked. I liked Sakura's cat from Da Capo, the Duck from the Agatha Christy series airing now, and the little dragon from Dragon Drive that the one kid got which transformed into that huge kick butt dragon. Then again, I like dragons.
Also, I loved the cat from Pita Ten. Now THAT would be a cool cat to have, aside from him being a nittle demon. Then again, some cats are like that, so I guess I could overlook it. |

I know he isn't a pet, but I would love to have Shippou. He's so cuuute! He's replaced Gizmo as my favorite fictional furry being. But if I were to suddenly find a troupe a mogwais on my doorstep, you can believe that I wouldn't let some anime character get in between us.

hmm.. I'd have to say menchi from excel saga. You can't help fell sorry for her. Her owners are only keeping her as an emergancy food supply, and things get even worse when menchi tries to escape. Of course when you're watching excel saga you're usually too busy laughing to feel sorry for her...

Definitely the cute little shinigami from Matantei Loki Ragnarok. Why? Because it makes the cutest noise I have ever heard! Ungyu!
A better question is why I don't close this "what type are you" thread right now. I'm only sparing it for the moment since it amuses me. If there isn't enough conversation though... if people only list their favorite mascot - which seems likely - I'll execute it without warning. Ungyu!

I suppose they do because they have retained their animalistic charm by their soft furry ears and long tail. In light of that reasoning my favorite pet has to be that cat girl from Da Capo. She has great body, she can cook and if coerced, she will turn into a cat for a wholesome pet. As Kamui pointed out, a wholesome pet has variety of usefulness other than being able to pet them.

I'd say Maya the Phantom Cat...
Sure she's a ghost, of sorts, but she'd make the best pet I can think of. With her ability to take the form of a kitten, human or cat-girl (ears and tail) she's the best of all worlds. She's cute, relatively maintance free (ghost cats don't really eat ^^) and very quiet, she almost never speaks or meows although she does pur on occassion. Add to that the ability to control any electronic device and you got yourself one cute, furry television remote. Oh, did I mention that she can cook? |
