"Could it be that you've actually read my manga?! What a shock!"
Poor Nozaki is so scarred from Maeno. ...Nozaki, the flowers would have been a perfectly fine manga development. The fake hand, not so much. Chiyo... just... temper your excitement or you're going to kill yourself. Oh hey, sleepover.

There'll definitely be a sequel. Show might sell 10K, and the manga sales have exploded. Might be a little while for the manga to get far enough ahead is all.

It shouldn't be that long of a wait, really. The adaptation will probably stop at chapter 38. There are still some very exciting chapters prior to ch 38 that are good to use in the 2nd season continuity-wise. And with the amount of chapters released so far, I think that in a year we will have more than enough chapters to adapt. So my guess is that, if we do get one, we should expect a second season in about a year, maybe two.
About the episode itself, looooooved it Poor Sakura, she thought she was about to be pranked and the guy just wanted to walk her home XD As for the preview, isn't that Spoiler for Manga spoiler. Kinda... you won't get it anyway...:

Nozaki and his editor relationship... ROFL
That Nozaki sure had some pretty weird reactions. Also his stories tend to go in weird directions if his friends don't stop it. Damn, he really is one unusual guy. Poor Sakura got stuck in his weird plot experiment. Every time she got her hopes up about Nozaki, he totally messed it up with some weirdness. Luckily, the bento thing and walk home were just perfect (´ ▽`).。o♡ Of course he used it all for his manga.. Guys hangout at Nozaki's sure made Mikoshiba stressed. That was the weirdest sleepover of all time (◎ヮ◎) Damn, I really wanted to hear the answer to the Sakura question..

I'm preparing myself for twin disappointments. (1) The maybe a kiss in progress scene in the preview turns out to definitely be a not a kiss in progress scene. (2) The end of the series.

I'm normally on-board with relationship advancement, but it feels as if getting Nozaki and Chiyo into a relationship runs the risk of making this a more conventional show. I like the way it subverts demographic boundaries and gender stereotypes, and keeps the whole relationship equation a confusing mess.

If somehow Sakura does get Nozaki into a relationship (maybe she can sell it as a research opportunity) I fear she'd just end up as the anime Amy Farrah Fowler anyway.
