1. What happens with Yuuta and Raika in their relationship?

2. Whose shiori?

3. What does shasha do in her plotline?

4. Anything happen to the kids which affects them?

Uhg I gave you those names to search the thread to make it easier to find spoilers yourself.

Yuuta and Raika's relationship is mostly static last I heard.

Shiori is a highschool girl who lives across the street from the Takahashi's, she's in volume 3 so you can read about her.

Sasha is Miu's mother. the sister's relationship are Sora+Hina= Half sisters, Miu is technically their step sister. The Takashi father, I forget his name, offered to marry Sasha so that he could take care of Miu and adopt her. Sasha was good friends with Yuuta's sister, so when Yuuta's sister fell in love with the Takahashi father, Sasha divorced him amicably, she wanted her friends to be together happily.
After the death of the Takahashi parents, Sasha who was I think in russia or something? returns and offers to take in the 3 girls.
Yuuta and the girl's haven't moved or gone anywhere yet, but Sasha wants them to move in with her or something? and Sasha is more or less part of their family.

As for things that affect the girls, there's sort 15 volumes worth of stuff that affects the girls? Sora has trouble at school and the choir club, balancing school with housework and such. That gets resolved. Miu has issues with her mom, not being in any of the older family photo's or an event. That gets resolved. Then there's Hina troubles, like her getting through holidays, or events, things like that without her parents around. She gets a dog, the dog dies. Things like that.
The girls and their troubles are sort of the ongoing plot line of the story.

Also, I'm not infallible. It's likely some good citizen will pop up and correct the hell out of me on some details, and give a clearer picture. You should really search the thread a bit. If you're trying to read 15 books in one go, 49 pages should be a big deal. and you really should read the first few volumes, since the anime did change some stuff.

So first thing thanks, second, is this the final volume? when you see front cover of all the character, you get the feeling it the final vol. and for the life of me i cant read kanji, so does anyone have a little summary of what happen here or is it at animesuki?

PS: anyone wishing for Yuuta and Sora for the OTP couple or we wont see it since japan hate INCEST, which is not since their not related

Looks like in a moment of jealousy Sora told Raika that Yuuta is in love with her (obvious duh) and isn't fair how she seems to ignore him while Sora can't be the girl in Yuuta's eyes no matter what she does because of her(Raika.

Raika has been showing jealousy about Yuuta when he was with other women while feeling something painful inside her chest but unable to tell what that was.

Hope for a big development next volume.

Although there's a general feeling about the recent developments hinting to an end soon enough, I actually think this will go on for at least a couple more years before the story hits its end. At the very least, the recent developments seem to have pushed along the romantic plot.

I don't see this LN series need to end with Yuuta X Raika, it have more plots like the first one when Sora and the girls parents went missing, as far I remember theres no bodies, just went missing?, uhmm, need to re read again, well, what I mean: even Yuuta and potentially Raika comes together, the lN have more unexplored plots.

Spoiler for Yuuta's current situation:

Well, he's shot down a couple of the girls going for him, but there are others in limbo as well.

Girls who have confessed but are shot down:

Intentionally:

• Miki, because he wishes to place his focus on taking care of the three sisters, although they still remain good friends; she still hasn't given up on him however.

Unintentionally:

• Shiori. Hers is a little bit of an unfortunate case, since she even got him to pretend as her boyfriend after lying to her friends that she had one. She confesses she loves him but is mistaken by Yuuta to mean familial love.

The rest are pretty much in unknown status: Raika, Miu and Sora. Sasha is still in the running but Yuuta pretty much didn't understand her confession since she said it in her native Russian.

Raika is about as dense as Yuuta in recognising romantic feelings, but recent developments may indicate a change in this.

So, how much older is Sasha to Yuuta? Seems like there would be quite the age gap. No that it matters for romance stories but it would seem odd.

Miu became a junior high school student. Sora became a high school student (See cover below). We probably don't have drama in this issue. Because time elapsed quickly in that volume I saw in reviews many suspected it might end soon, which is true since volume 18 will be the last. With volume 17 there will be a drama cd and with volume 18 a new OVA. If Yuri and Shingo are alive and return in that volume maybe we will see that in that OVA too?
Volume 17 release date is January 23 and in Amazon there is not a summary.
