Everytime I say Portugal is doomed out of the tournament because of statistics or curses they break it (e.g. host nation never getting passed the semi final since 1988, that if Netherlands play against Germany in a tournament one of them is in the final etc.)

I never expected that.

Just one more curse left, lets hope they break it. Although its a tough one.

"We brought a German to teach us the German way of play but instead we turned him to a Greek"... That's what everyone says and everyone can see it!

How much €€€ did you win this time? ^_^

I hope that Greece wins the tournament, that would be somewhat of surprise: The underdog beats the favourites right and left

Ok, Greece is quite a surprise this EC

Opening and Final are the same match-up, I don't thik that has ever happened in an EC or WC.

Greece won the first match, let's see how they do this time

wow...this is certainly unexpected. The first time in a tournament that the opening match is the same as the final match its also the first time that a team with a foreign coach winning a tournament.

This tournament is really the curse breaker isn't it?

Oh well Portugal is out for revenge...yet I can see Greece winning because of the defence.

Now they want him back as the german national coach over here.
Our own coach resigned after the bad performance of the german team.
But Rehagel already said he wont come.

Well, around here we are saying that this can possibly be a Captain Tsubasa-like final.

Why, you ask? Because in the anime, they lose their first game, and end winning to the team they lost their first game in the final.

A Tusbasa-like game would be great!
tsubasa stunts included... goalkeeper jumps at the left post, repels from it, flys to the right and catches the ball that was aimed at the top right corner!

Well, indeed it is the Begining and the End. Portugal-Greece at the start, Portugal-Greece at the end. Wonder if the results would be the same....

Yes, it is.
Just to add another one both teams are in a final for the first time also.

I hope Portugal will win. They have played the more beautiful matches imho.
