I dunno, by Vol10 there's some hints Yui can feel emotion - she says all she is doing is performing the expected/set responses, but she also seem a bit frustrated and sad that she cannot do more.

Basically, the 'truth' that Asuna was referring to was that everyone has to face reality eventually because it'll catch up to you sooner or later. Everyone has problems and people need to face them.

The flower petals are people on the Earth and when the wind blows and the petals float away, they die. This happens to everyone.

At least I think that's what it means... if Asuna was talking about Yuuki dying

Seriously, from Volumes 1 to 8 including all the side stories.. No.. from everything that I've seen in the past 16 years of my life, Mother's Rosario was the one that broke me. Shouldn't have read it, just judging from the illustrations it looks really emotional, but I couldn't avert myself from reading it. >_<

It kinda depends... wait for the events in volume 3 and 4 to unfold in the anime, and you'll see.

If Asuna didn't rush it there would of been a possibility he wouldn't of saved those army guys. At this specific point of the story his mind hasn't fully "matured." Hes still trying to work out the kinks in what is right and what is wrong. You could also notice his hesitation on whether he should use his dual blades skill or not.

He may have wanted to save them, but considering what backup they had, it seems like they had a pretty good chance of wiping and having everyone die rather than saving anyone.

Under the situation they're in, that wouldn't help anyone.

Maybe. But Kirito was friends with the members of the Black Cats guild and had relationships with them.

People are people.... he had nothing against the Army.. so why not at least help them.... Kirito is a good person....

He's not the type who says "They're not my girlfriend or friends, why I should care?".

He would be an awful MC if that happens...

Besides... he and the Army have common goals.. but uses different means of achieving it...
